I can't say enough about my experience with Cali Premier Mobile Detail. Luis, the owner, detailed both of my vehicles - a 2007 Toyota 4Runner and my brand new Toyota GR Corolla - and I was genuinely impressed with the results. The 4Runner received a full interior and exterior detail, and it looks better than it has in years. The interior is spotless, and the exterior had a fresh, clean finish that I honestly wasn't expecting from a vehicle its age. For my GR Corolla, Luis did a hand wash and ceramic coating, and the car came out looking incredible - deep shine, smooth finish, and clearly done with care. Wow. I needed the carpet thoroughly cleaned and decided to get the full detail package. Everything was amazing, from responsiveness, timeliness, and level of detail--which was above and beyond my expectations. Every nook and cranny was cleaned. Just had my first service with Cali Premier Mobile Detail - Enrique was the technician who came and he did a fabulous job! I am embarrassed to say my car had plenty of dust since I live around horses and everything is gleaming. He was on time and, actually, it all worked out that we were able to have the service completed a little early! I just wanted an everyday clean for the interior and exterior of the car, so I bought the less expensive package, but everything looks beautiful. My RAV4 was serviced with the full detail package in late May 2025, and Enrique did a good job with the detail. He asked that I give him the key to move my car to the shade for interior work, and he upsold me on headlight cleaner, no harm I figured. trouble is, at the end of the detail, he shows me the lift gate won't open anymore. It worked before he began, and now it doesn't. it's an automatic lift gate with a button, and force shutting it is a known cause for damaging the gate. He denied using his hand to close it, multiple times, but he was actively showing me how he could close it by force because it was stuck. Frustrated, and annoyed, I decided not to argue. I paid Enrique, even tipped him on the upsell, and scheduled an appt w/ my mechanic about a fix. No luck, results are that I need to take it the dealership for $1,200 bill, a result of a $300 detail. Before I wrote this, I called the owner to explain, and he listened and responded verbally like I would have hoped. Theres really nothing he can do to provide any kind of resolution, I knowingly engaged with a service provider that does not have liability insurance for damages caused by their technicians. And it's more expensive for me try and recover the losses. As much as Enrique was in denial about causing the damage, it was clear to me he was responsible. Talking with the owner, it sounds to me that he will revisit the business rules, e.g., Enrique is NOT permitted to move vehicles and additional caution is taken in respect to automatic functions like the lift gate. My advice is for all prospective customers to understand the risk you take with the detail and no liability coverage if damage occurs. read more

Last week I contacted Cali Premier Mobile Detail to have water spots removed on my 2021 Dodge pick up truck. They gave me a very generous quote for the water spot removal compared to other local mobile detailers. Within 24 hours Enrique (the detailer who did the work on my truck) arrived at my home ready to work. Enrique was vey professional and extremely knowledgeable in auto detailing. He reiterated the estimate for the work, gave me an approximate time to complete the job, and then thoroughly completed the job in an efficient time. I was truly impressed by the quality of work I received from Cali Premier. I will definitely be utilizing their service again in the near future for my other vehicles. This is an overdue review. I've been using these guys to detail / wash my cars for 2-3 years now since I've moved to Elk Grove. They put a lot of effort and pay attention to details each time. Very easy / flexible to schedule appointments. I never had any issue with their service(s). Specifically, Enrique has been coming to work on my cars recently by mobile. Very nice guy and always clean the exterior, and especially the interior very well. He spends a lot of time on the cars and I can see the positive results. I was reluctant to leave a subpar review here because dealing with one of the business owners over the phone (I think he was a business owner) was great and he was friendly, but I got my car detailed again at another company that had their own building and realized what an underwhelming service I received from here was. I also need to put out a warning for anybody who gets their car serviced not in this company's main service area or by one of this company's "partners." So first of all, I scheduled my appointment for an interior detail and exterior wash and WAX. This package included things such as washing my car, clay barring, and waxing my car with CARNAUBA WAX. I made sure to emphasize I wanted my car waxed over my phone, and the person I spoke to seemed to understand. I currently live out in Stockton and he said he can't service my car himself, but his partner can take care of it. I said okay. The partner (who I will also refer to as the tech) showed up to my house on time and told me he would wash my car and detail the interior. I asked him if he would wax my car and he said he knew nothing about the wax. He said it's okay, and he would still wax my car. I asked him to show me the wax and she shows me a bottle of pink spray. I wash and wax my own car so I know what to look for. This bottle of pink spray was NOT carnauba wax. Carnauba wax is yellowish/brown in color and pastey in texture. I also asked how he would apply it and he just points to this pile of microfiber towels that looked dirty in his car and says "i don't know, with some of this." I left and went inside my house but decided I wanted to call the owner. I go back out to the tech and tell him to call the owner. The owner said the tech should know what to do and that it's miscommunication and not to worry about it. I let the tech do his thing and when he was done washing and doing the interior detail, I offered him my garage to wax it. I was still suspicious so I watched him for about a minute while he applied the alleged wax. He applied the bottle of PINK SPRAY to my car with those pile of microfiber towels, not the carnauba wax. He was finished "waxing" my car in about 10 minutes. Carnauba wax takes AT LEAST 5-15 minutes to cure alone. I also noticed he missed a couple spots on the interior detail and he used a glossy finish the wipe down the interior. I did not like the glossy finish because it comes off if you wipe it with water and it leaves the interior color mismatched unless you wipe off all the gloss which I ended up doing the next day. I ended up unhappy with the service because my car wasn't waxed and he said maybe the tech used ceramic instead. That is crazy because ceramic coating takes even LONGER than carnauba wax and is more expensive. The owner did want to make it right with me and offered me a partial refund of $30 for just the waxing portion or for him to come and wax my car himself. The trust was already broken so I chose the partial refund which honestly was not much. Now I don't really understand what happened here. Over the phone the owner said carnauba wax would be applied to my car. When the tech showed up to my house, he said he knew nothing about having to wax my car. Then we called the business owner together who told the tech to wax my car, and the tech still did not wax my car, but I was still charged as if he did. Also, because he didn't wax the car and I saw many small dots on my car which would have been removed by a clay bar, I have reason to suspect he may not have clay barred my car as well. For the positives about this, the service that I was provided with was decent. The exterior of the car was washed and it was clean. The interior was detailed properly for the most part. The interior carpet looked deeply clean. For the services the tech provided, I would say he did do his job correctly for the most part. The tech was friendly and the person I spoke to on the phone was friendly. It's just unfortunate that services that said were provided were not provided and if I didn't know any better, I would have believed that they were done. I also don't want to state the name of the tech to not get him in trouble online, but just be careful if you are getting your car serviced by one of their "partners." read more
