I just stopped in for a little snack of a taco and to try this place because it's rated very high. The prices are very reasonable. if you want to go to Taco Bell, you wouldn't get the same quality taco that you get here. Being that it's taco Tuesday they had run out of the ground beef and I'm glad they did even though that's what I was going to order in my taco. Instead, I got pulled pork and the fixings. So this place is a local food truck and I can say I'm Impressed. Especially because I am a vegetarian and the owner was extremely accommodating to my dietary needs. It's pretty cool To eat outside on the picnic table except in over 90degree weather so had to pack it up and eat in the car. Glad they had very cold drinks that day. read more

My favorite place to eat and the best food truck in Spring Hill. I love tacos and I could eat tacos everyday. Cali Street Tacos has the best street tacos with a large variety of meats to choose from. But some may argue it's not just about their tacos. It's about their spicy red sauce, just kidding. They also have delicious burritos, bowls and nachos. Try the red sauce. I haven't tried the quesadilla but I've been thinking about it and I bet they are just as yummy as everything else. Every time we order, I have to hold back and not order 10 tacos to myself. It always hits the spot and I usually find myself dancing after each bite and Spring Hill doesn't have many places that makes me dance when I eat. Put the spicy red sauce on everything. Follow them on FB and you'll know when and where they are. They usually stay in the same place but they occasionally have events that might overlap with Googles hours. Just give them a like, they deserve it. Everyone is so friendly and personable. I'm very happy to have this gem of a food truck so close by and seriously Spring Hill is lucky to have Cali Street Tacos! I highly recommend giving them a try. Two hours of waiting.... Two hours for an order of food and that's after I was told it would take about 25-30 minutes when the order was placed. At no time did anyone come to me to tell me that there was a delay or a problem or to apologize for the wait time as I'm sitting in my car watching the sun set. It wasn't until I got out of my car and approached to ask if my order is done until they realized someone wasn't happy. I find it difficult to believe that anyone with an honest conscience can tell me that absolutely no one else has a problem with this or that a two hour wait is reasonable by any measure. If you're hungry, don't go here. You'll die of starvation long before you get your food. I've been to other taco vendors in the area and NO ONE else takes this long. Imagine if you were at a sit down restaurant, would you wait that long? Now imagine your expectations at a street vendor and ask yourself exactly how long would you consider it to be "reasonable" to wait? The food is good don't get me wrong but it doesn't stand out beyond the next guy and it surely doesn't justify a ridiculous waiting experience. And this was my second visit. My first took me an hour to get my food. I know they say that you should give people three strikes but honestly after at this rate do you think I'm going to EVER give them a third try? Either they don't know how to properly operate the business or they are dishonest to their customers about the wait time just to ensure the orders keep coming in cause let's be honest you know that if you tell people 1-2 hours wait, people will leave. After seeing many 5 star reviews I thought this place was going to be good. Unfortunately It was not. You know the saying "if you F**k around you're going to find out" well that's what happened to me here. I had ordered 3 asada, 3 Al pastor, 2 shrimp and two Birria tacos and a soda for 35.68$. The corn tortillas are store bought and cheap. The asada had absolutely no seasoning and tasted like a dirty flat top. Same for Al pastor and shrimp. Couldn't even taste salt. I had called for a pick up and said I was on a tight schedule and they told me to come and my food would be ready when I get there. I got there and had to wait an additional 32minutes ! Causing me to also end my break 27min late. I seen comments that the Birria was the best. Omg was I fooled. This gots to have been the worse Birria tacos I've ever half eaten. And to make it all worse as in the photos I provided they used cheddar cheese in a Birria taco smh. And the consome aka dipping broth was disgusting. Tasted like water with onion and cilantro. I usually always give great reviews but I just can't with this place. I don't give places one stars ever but when a place gives me food poisoning I have to i went to cali street tacos Friday 03/15/24 got a family pack spent 53 bucks on a family pack first our order was wrong asked for no Cilantro on anything well they doused the shrimp tacos in a Cilancho and sour cream mix. So whatever went back made 5 new tacos great gave me 4 free tacos for next time because of the mistake well all the food was either over cooked or was the same meat from all day or the day before because it was extremely dry and the shripms we're over cooked practically like rubber it was just awful well it was dinner and growing up I was taught not to waste food so i ate it because it was 53 and change for it and im not about to throw out 53 dollars of food my boyfriend refused to eat it well I should have too...I have had the worst food poisoning ever to the point I missed works yesterday because of it.... so my 53 dollars of food I refused to throw out and eat anyway Poisoned me and I lost a days pays soooo all because of this place you have put me in the whole approx 180 bucks I posted this on Google too I want everyone to know just so you can be cautious Oh and I almost forgot. Closest taste and texture to the tacos I had in Tijuana when I was flower child attending CSUN out on the coast. The flavor brings back good memories. Been to Tampa to sample the Birrias at several places and none can compare to the flavor of their consommé. Ordered dinner when the family was visiting from PA and they loved it.
