I ordered a new one online but after weeks of failed attempts from me and many of my friends and neighbors we were unable to get it on. I drove by Silvers and explained my situation and they immediately made the repair. They would not accept payment and simply said they were glad to help! A few months ago my uncle side swiped my car and I was in need of professional help again so I went straight to them. They did the repairs necessary for a fair price in a reasonable amount of time. My car was new again! Unfortunately my drivers door had leakage problems with all this rain and we discovered the gasket around the door had come detached and they fixed it the moment I appeared at their business. They apologized for the problem and asked me to call back the next week to make sure no further leaks happened. The next week it started to leak again. Evidently my fancy, smart entry keyless Honda, had this weird electrical system that caused the car alarm to go off after a hard rain when it leaked. I had to replace my battery and tarp the car until I could get by again for them to look at my problem. They checked into it again and discovered the roof rack had shifted and allowed water to get in and set the alarm off after soaking the floor board. This was not caused by their repairs or the door gasket, but they smiled and repositioned the rack but did not charge me. Who would have believed that within a week I was up at midnight, after the rain, disconnecting my battery and covering my car with a tarp again. The floor board was soaked and I was furious! Only in 2020 could this really be happening. I brought them my car and they politely agreed to take a look again. Well this time they brilliantly discovered my sunroof drains had clogged causing the backed up rain water to drain into my car. I was skeptical but they convinced me they were certain and once again did not charge me for their work! Needless to say the clogged sunroof had nothing to do the original repairs! It has rained several times since then and no leak, no car alarm and no wet floor board! These guys are true gentlemen and great car body specialists! They are knowledgeable, professional, and kind. SILVERS AUTO SERVICE is what makes authentic Ashevillians, their team has reminded me that there are still good humans in this world, in this country, in this state, and in this town (even in my neighborhood)! Had my car for 20 days and couldn't even put it together properly…read more Failed to reinstall bolts securing the front bumper cover to the front fenders, failed to install the fender liners properly (hanging down from the fenders), left sanding marks in the base coat so it looks like it was painted with a paint brush, failed to have the alignment done after being hit at the right front fender and wheel, and has yet to call me with a replacement right headlight after installing one that leaks (first attempt was to plastic weld the headlight brackets and it was completely crooked). If you value your car at all, take it elsewhere. I thought going to a local shop would be my best bet. Boy was I wrong. Nothing but cutting corners and excuses from them. They do not stand behind their work and does not honor their warranties.

When I geo my truck back, it had thousands of grains of sand painted over on the body. Some places where paint ran was wiped off and sprayed over, the paint was poorly applied. Rust was hoping through in several places. I supplied expensive antirust coating, it wasn't used on my truck. I specifically ask for PPG brand paint. They use cheap generic-no-name brand paint. The roof of my truck was like a gravel driveway. Rust is bleeding through my 5 month old paint job. My truck was painted OUTSIDE in dry, sandy conditions. My doors have to be body They closed perfectly before I took my truck in. My passenger side doors have to be body slammed to make them close. I paid $6,000 dollars for an $80 dollar paint job. All the employees are young Mexican, drug addicts with ZERO bodyshop skills. It looks like small children hand painted my truck. VERY rough and unprofessional paint job. Take your vehicle elsewhere to get painted. You'll be sorry if you have RNJ sand-coat-paint your car.
