After my car was totaled and the other driver's insurance did the bare minimum, I was stuck. AAA Asheville recommended Rickman's, and I'm so thankful they did. The damage to my car was almost as much as I paid for it, and insurance barely lifted a finger. But Jessica and Daniel worked incredibly hard to get the cost way down--at their own expense and time spent--just to help me get back on the road. When I couldn't pay right away, they didn't pressure me. In fact, they offered to cover a large part of the cost themselves! I did pay them, but that offer alone showed me the kind of people they are. This is the most generous, honest, and compassionate business I've ever dealt with. When I geo my truck back, it had thousands of grains of sand painted over on the body. Some places where paint ran was wiped off and sprayed over, the paint was poorly applied. Rust was hoping through in several places. I supplied expensive antirust coating, it wasn't used on my truck. I specifically ask for PPG brand paint. They use cheap generic-no-name brand paint. The roof of my truck was like a gravel driveway. Rust is bleeding through my 5 month old paint job. My truck was painted OUTSIDE in dry, sandy conditions. My doors have to be body They closed perfectly before I took my truck in. My passenger side doors have to be body slammed to make them close. I paid $6,000 dollars for an $80 dollar paint job. All the employees are young Mexican, drug addicts with ZERO bodyshop skills. It looks like small children hand painted my truck. VERY rough and unprofessional paint job. Take your vehicle elsewhere to get painted. You'll be sorry if you have RNJ sand-coat-paint your car.

I called, He said now they found frame issues, it should be ready by the end of that wk. I called, He said when they were putting it back together they noticed the impact bar hadn't been ordered. It had been in a wreck you would think an impact bar might be damaged right? They didn't. He promised me it would be ready by Fri of that wk. When I called on Friday he said it was ready but it was to close to closing for my husband and I to make it there because it was an hour from where we live. It was a good thing we didn't go pick it up because he called Monday and said when they drove it they decided it needed wheel bearings. I finally picked my care up today March 26. We had two cars at Moss at the same time several years ago before it was sold to the current owner…read more First our SUV was hit in the rear, and although there was no damage to the bumper cover (other than a small scratch which we covered with a decal) the hatch was damaged and the hatch's window was broken. We took it to Moss right away, and even though we were not yet customers, they placed the clear self-stick sheet over the hatch where the window was, to seal it up. When we took it in to replace the hatch, the folks at Moss were easy to work with and the job was well done. The tri color pearlesant white paint was matched perfectly, and they took care of every issue. I think Dennis was the tech and he really takes pride in his workmanship. A few weeks later, our other SUV was hit and we took it to Moss. The tech was also Dennis? And he was great to work with, as were all the other Moss folks. The paint job is perfect and I have no complaints. I have learned that Moss is now owned by a large company which owns many collision shops, and we can only hope that they employ the same quality folks who care about dealing with customers and doing an exceptional job on repairing cars.
