However, upon a conversation with my insurance company I discovered that the money was paid for car seat replacement, not collision repair. I am still awaiting a refund. Insurance has paid Caliber Collision 100% of the bill, and my deductible was waived. No effort was spent looking into this charge, and I was being deceived...trying to be fleeced for money based on my good nature and trust in the fact that it was a insurance company recommended shop I was told the rear bumper repair, and all of the parking sensors were calibrated and everything was in working order. However, after driving it for 10 minutes I realized the parking sensors didn't work on the front or rear and were not selectable/deselectable with the push button, and there were no error codes present. This repair was not completed as described or billed. This should not be up to the customer to discover the incomplete repair. Your technician's and manager's lack of communication, workmanship and attention to detail is evident. I was told to return to the shop where they could diagnose the problem. Time was then spent diagnosing the issue and calling their calibration specialist. I had now delayed an hour of what should have been a routine customer pick up. I was told that there was an issue with one of the front parking sensors and they would be unable to get my sensors working. I told the manager that I was disappointed with the service that I had to discover the issue with the vehicle, and the fact that he refused to take off his sunglasses indoors while talking to me was disrespectful ... more so, because he continued to be condescending, rude and tried to shift blame (he even tried to blame me)... I told him I won't be returning to the shop. I will be filing a complaint with my insurance company, the BBb and will be taking the vehicle to another shop to complete the unsatisfactory repairs. I can't say enough about the service and quality of this shop. Late last year my Camry suffered an unfortunate encounter with a deep snow-drift driving across Kansas. I took it in and Jim (advisor) gave it a thorough inspection and estimate. When it came time to do the work, they worked with my insurance company to make sure EVERYTHING was properly replaced and the car came out looking as good as new, but there was a rattle that hadn't been there before the incident. I told them about it, they said, "Bring it back and we'll find it". It took a while, but true to their word, they discovered a heat shield above the catalytic converter had been bent by the drift and was "tapping" on the body of the car. They quickly fixed it with a smile and apologized for not finding it the first time. They also made sure I had the right arrangements for a rental car while mine was in the shop. My wife's Jeep Liberty suffered some damage last month, so I took it to Jim. He gave me his honest opinion that we'd be better off trading it in - as is - than investing in the repairs. It cost him work, but he was absolutely right. It's hard to find that kind of honesty and integrity these days. I'm a big fan of Caliber Collision in Castle rock! read more

A rip off over priced take too long to do the work if they're too busy they jacked the price up pretty quick

Zero stars would be more appropriate. "Restoring the rhythm of your life," true- if you are referring to the equivalent of giving someone a broken pace maker. My car hit a small deer and the headlight was smashed and they estimated almost $5,000 to fix it. You think with this estimate there would be substantial mechanical damage, but there was only 1.8 hours in the estimate for mechanical labor. They wanted to fix things that were not damaged like the fog lights, they wanted to replace a fender with minimal damage. The estimate included things like a license plate holder and there was already one on the car that was not damaged. In the estimate there was a mysterious listing of Paint Supplies, which had an hourly rate of $32.00 an hour and was estimated to take 11.4 hours. One would think that Paint Supplies is a flat fee. They were leaving the car unlocked even though there were valuables in the car that could not be easily removed as they were electrically connected and bolted to the vehicle. I had someone who worked at another corporate repair shop look at the vehicle and give me an estimate. They said that the car could be fixed for $2,000. I would love to have switched shops and had gotten the car fixed, but insurance totaled the car based off of Caliber's estimate and there was nothing I could do. This was not a junker car as it may seem from the fact that it was totaled by a repair estimate of this cost - it was registered out of state and follows a different formula for calculating total loss. I would caution anyone who is recommended Caliber Collision by an insurance company. Caliber and insurance work together, not in the interest of the customer. read more

I was referred to the Castle Rock location when I needed a hail repair for my car. I've now had three cars damaged by hail, and this was my first time at Caliber. I had taken my other two cars to a fancy shop (not Caliber) in Highlands Ranch previously and was never really satisfied - lingering problems with electrical and leaks that never got fixed. I was also without my car for several weeks both times, which is a big pain, especially when there were production delays. So when I got hit by hail again this June I was not looking forward to the process again. Fortunately my experience with the Castle Rock Caliber was a complete 180 from my other experiences at the other place. They were able to get me in for an estimate quickly, and we even got my repair scheduled within a week (with all of the hail claims this summer I was expecting to have to wait weeks or even months to get in). The check-in process was easy (most everything was arranged ahead of time), and I loved the text updates on the estimated completion. The pickup was quick and easy - we inspected the car (which was detailed by the shop) and signed the paperwork, and I was off! Overall I'd absolutely go back to the Castle Rock Caliber. I felt like they were committed to keeping me informed, and keeping the project on schedule. They don't have the "doctors office waiting room" like some of the boutique body shops around, but the real quality is in the shop where it matters. read more

Last time I brought in my Audi A7 because my wife backed into it, he basically took the keys from me, took it in the shop, and fixed it right one the spot for me without charging me. Complete bait and switch! Final bill was more than double the quote initially provided. My point of contact failed to touchbase on any of the scheduled follow up calls. Parts added to the bill are so far from the point of impact it's not plausible for the parts added to really be needed and doubtful these parts were actually replaced. The day of pickup was a debacle costing me an extra day of car rental. Still have no idea if my car is ready! I would not return to caliber or recommend them to anyone ever. read more

I curse Caliber every time I drive my car. My new Outback took a rock to the windshield while commuting on I-25, and the resulting crack spread and spread across the center of the glass. Luckily, I had glass coverage on my auto insurance. My insurance agent recommended Caliber Auto Glass. I called them up... and called them... and called them... You see, they don't have a website where you can submit repair requests, or schedule appointments. Oh no, they operate on a strictly phone-based (aka Last Century) basis. You have to play phone tag with them until it's convenient for them to speak with you. Over a couple of week period, I eventually coordinated Caliber accepting my insurance claim, and then ordering the replacement windshield, and then eventually scheduling me to take my car 20 miles from where I live to a different city because they don't have all the equipment needed in all their shops (don't bother with Caliber if you live south of Castle Rock, because their shops south of there can't handle cars sold after about 2001). But it gets better! I had to take my car to their shop in Castle Rock, but they didn't have any plans to drive me to work. Oh no. I had to take care of that myself. Silly me, thinking that a windshield repair business sited away from anything and everything would be prepared to drop me off at work downtown. Shame on me. So the day wore on, and around 5pm I called to find out if they had my car ready to pick up. Their shop closes at 530pm. They put me on hold. After 10 minutes on hold, I hung up and called them back. Oh, the lady who answered the phone said, did the technician not pick up your call? She screwed around for a few minutes "finding" the guy working on my car. Finally, 10 minutes before they closed up for the day, she confirmed that I could pick up my car. Wow. A coworker drove me to the shop with about 2 minutes to spare. Amazingly, I was able to get the keys to my car and drive it away. Of course, that's when I noticed the noise. In a new car you luxuriate in the feel of a well made machine, and you revel in the silence your cutting edge vehicle provides. I'd only had the car for a few months, so I had only started to enjoy this environment. When I picked up my new car from Caliber, the enjoyment was gone. The windshield they'd installed, they'd installed incorrectly. Just driving down the highway resulted in an irritating and unavoidable scritching, scratching noise. Driving the otherwise new car wasn't a pleasure any more. It was an exercise in self-punishment, with this little unavoidable irritation always disturbing me. Now I curse Caliber every time I drive my car. Do yourself a favor and take your car somewhere, anywhere else. Caliber in Castle Rock is not even a .22. Can't even muster a .17. Teeny, tiny caliber that's not worth your time or money. Stay away. read more

During our first visit Kimberly at the front office went above and beyond to help make this challenging time more doable and her expertise and professionalism truly went above and beyond exceeding our expectations. Kimberly's excellent customer service and genuine concern is the reason we instantly became returning customers two more times and she truly is the heartbeat of the office. I took my car in for an estimate on a large bumper dent. The only thing on the car that was affected was the bumper. The estimate included work on the inside of the trunk, replacing the tail lights and a variety of other things. The estimate came in at $1600.00 and the estimator told me that it would be more when the work was finally done. I then took my car to two other repair shops and the estimates were both in the $800.00 range. I had my car fixed at one of them and it came out perfect. I am so glad that I did the extra work to find a true and honest repair shop. The lack of ethics at Caliber is amazing. I hope that this company figures out a way to stop ripping off customers who need car repairs. read more

The lady currently answering calls is unprofessional. They make no apologies to placing estimates (estimate only - not even repair) one month+ out if you intend on taking financial responsibility rather than having the insurance company pay them directly. I'm not even the type to leave reviews on Yelp but legit don't go here. These guys were super unprofessional. I had been backed into in July and filed a claim through my insurance. My insurance recommended I go through Caliber Collision and so I decided to go to them. I went online and filled out a request with an estimate of when I'd be available to get the car in. They proceeded to make me appointment in the middle of a shift I had. At that point no big deal whatever it's annoying but whatever I'll just drop my car off earlier that morning. So I stop by and ask them if I can leave it in the parking lot and give them my keys. They said no they absolutely cannot let my car sit for two hours before my appointment, which would be fine id get it if I hadn't been scheduled without being asked. But again I'm like whatever fine I'm chill. I decide to reschedule and they say that I can't get in until August 12 almost a month later. But hey I get it I work a front desk scheduling can be rough I'm like cool no big deal that sounds fine. So August 12 I go back and I drop the car off, and I'm like cool. I go back the next day everything is good my bumper is replaced (I only had minor bumper damage) and then I go to collect the paperwork. They then try to charge me 500 which I know should go through the insurance of the man who hit me. By itself again this isn't a big deal but combined with everything else it definitely seemed like they were trying to scam me. I politely correct the mistake they apologized and got the correct paperwork, I signed it and left. I go home and as I'm packing my car up the next day so I can drive up to college I notice that there is a nail stuck in my tire and it's flat. It is now Saturday evening at this point and I am supposed to leave Sunday morning. Now I have no way to prove this was them I will admit that but i haven't been anywhere else where a nail would even reasonably be. Regardless of that though I feel my rating is deserved. He gave me acurate expectations of my cars progress. I met Jeff and Josh the technicians who worked on my car and they were professional and courteous. Jeff explained in detail while showing me the repairs how the process was being done. When my vehicle was done I met Brian the GM and he took extra time and went out of his way to be sure all my expectations were met. He assisted me in returning my rental car. The repair is fantastic. Well, another accident, different car. After dealing with Caliber in the past, I immediately knew who to contact. Got in touch with James (Jim) Gross and he set us up with a appointment to get our Buick Regal. He gave us a ballpark as to what it would cost to repair. He gave us a estimated time of completion, and kept us informed on how it was going. He called about five days later and said that they were in the process of washing the car and we could pick it up. Not only was the service from Jackie and Jim, the quality of work completed by Jeff and Patrick was wonderful. Everything lined up, paint was great and it was back to its original self, even better. Hopefully we don't have to do this again, but I would highly recommend Caliber Collision for your auto-body repairs. This was my second time using Caliber in Castle Rock. They had done excellent work on a previous car, and I chose them over the "recommended" body shops suggested by the "other party's" insurance company. Caliber is highly recommended by my insurance company (USAA) and I was not disappointed. Brian met me when I drove in, took the time then to give me an estimate which was better than the other repair facilities, and he got the car into the shop weeks before the others. During the process I received every-other-day updates on the status of the repairs. When I picked up the car, it looked new! And the final bill met the estimates. Wow. I unhesitatingly recommend Caliber in Castle Rock. Brian and his entire team know how to treat their customers royally. You never like to take your vehicle in for repairs, but the staff there make the fix a pleasant experience. I used this collision company because they rated it as a good business. Initially the service was great until they replaced the manager and I had to deal with Brian. I have an Audi TT and had problems with my engine when I picked up the repaired vehicle . First of all the repaired glove box was not repaired and popped open within 30 seconds of driving it off the lot. I then had my engine literally shut down the very next day, on the freeway in rush hour traffic. They took it to a repair shop that was not Audi certified and had no technicians who were ASE certified claiming nothing was wrong. When I complained and wanted to have it looked at by a qualified shop Brian said no problem and stated he would pay for the second diagnostics. He lied and did not pay for the diagnostics, I had to cover the cost. I then called Brian to schedule an appointment to have my latch repaired on the glovebox. he said it could not be repaired and the entire glovebox had to be replaced. I Waited almost two weeks and had to follow up again. Brian stated they had the new glovebox and I could bring it in. I just picked up my car and the technician stated the latch had been repaired and the glovebox was not replaced. Brian never came out and faced me in person, he avoided me completely . He seems to be a serial liar and completely shady character. I DO NOT recommend this shop and will never do business with these people again. Very bad experience!!!! read more

After a few bumps, my experience at Caliber Collision was outstanding. The General Manager Brian ironed out the rough edges by giving me a rental car for the final week of my car's repair and replacing a bumper damaged during the repair process. Initially, I was unhappy that my bumper was damaged and that my repair took a long time. (Unfortunately, lots of hail damage this year) However, the always friendly staff including Brian, Karen and Chris took the time to make sure I was a happy customer at the end. The painting was great thanks to Eddy! My car looks like new and Brian's pledge to make good on the final correction was enough to help me recommend this auto body shop to anyone.
