BEWARE OF FRAUD! Have now picked up the car and have a bit more understanding of why they kept being dishonest. Here is the complaint now submitted to BBB. The auto repair shop replaced at least one part on the car that was not damaged with a lesser more used part. The primary known part at this time (although others may be found) is the steering wheel. The steering wheel was not damaged when the car was dropped off. When the car was returned the steering wheel had been replaced by a much more worn part. This part being touched at all was not disclosed in any of the paperwork. Resolution of this issue needs to be the return of the original steering wheel or a replacement new steering wheel from the factory. In addition they will need to pay for that steering wheel to be replaced by the dealership. In addition I would like this came to be noted with this fraud. read more

Friendly staff, timely repair. On quality, I have some concerns... The pain match was amazing, no difference between the replaced door and the rest of the car. During the initial review of the car, before repair, I specifically pointed out everything I saw, and thought they were taking notes. When I received the car back, one are I had pointed out had not been repaired (alignment between two pieces), so had to go back for them to fix (didn't require paining, just adjustment, so done in few minutes). Not sure how they missed that as it was easy to see and I had specifically pointed it out. Wondering how they check the car before returning to the customer. The second issue was that they had to replace a wheel that had been scratched. when I received the car back, the steering wheel wasn't straight. From experience, that should be an easy fix (again, how did they miss that during quality check before returning the car??). They took the car to whoever did the alignment, and they couldn't fix it; they said that if they straghten the steering wheel, they lose alignment and if they align the steering wheel is not centered. Carstar simply gave up and said they couldn't fix it. I know a place where I take my cars for alignment, so I asked Carstar to pay foir it. They asked for an alignment quote first, but that means at least two trips, so I went ahead and aligned it (this place said it was easy and very standard, steering wheel is now good and the car aligned). Sent the invoice to Carstar and I don't really have high expectations on getting this reimbursed, after the slow communication we have seen after the car was return upon completing the repairs. My opinion only: it seems thet adertise a lot about the lifetime warranty and how great they are on that, but in reality they drag their feet, they lack a good quality control, and some of the shops they use for "other things" (like alignment in this case) are not the best at what they do. read more

I was in a car accident in Phoenix, AZ in July 2024. Car Star Jordan finally took it for repair in October 2024 and released it in December 2014, minus a part which they broke. They were supposed to reorder the part and install it. Despite multiple phones calls, they hadn't done before I relocated in late July 2025 and repeatedly told me that it's my problem, not theirs, and refused to escalate. I got my insurance involved and they told my insurance that they would be happy to mail the part to me and I can shove it into the vehicle or into my body but they weren't to actually complete the repair or arrange to have if completed. read more

This company has the absolute worst customer service. Not only that, the work they do is incomplete and requires multiple visits and MONTHS to get your vehicle back. We brought my husbands truck here twice, totaling over 10k in repairs- the first time when we picked it up after they had called and hounded 5 calls per day for 2 days, when we arrived the step bar was not even installed on the vehicle. One main reason for the visit/repair- the step bar had been hit and broken! Now we arrive to pickup vehicle after explaining the damage and getting quote etc, and the original item we dropped the truck off to repair was not quoted or evaluated or included in the repair. I've had my Wrangler worked on twice now with CARSTAR and both times they returned my vehicle to me looking as it was prior to a large hail storm hitting it and more recently prior to getting rear ended. My estimator and the Manager/owner were very helpful and answered any of my questions about how the repair process works and when it came to my insurance claim for the hail and going through the other parties for the rear end claim. I was kept highly informed of where my vehicle was each step of the repairs via text and call. They helped set up my rental car, and even returned my car to me lightly detailed and before the estimated completion date!! read more

So I found myself in a tight spot. I have some damage I have been putting off for awhile and decided to finally get it addressed on my Subaru. After calling a couple of shops and being told a week to 3 weeks out Carstar was able to get me in same day!!! Not only that I found it awesome that Leah knowing I was paying out of pocket she asked if I minded the use of aftermarket or even recycled parts! This is specifically in regards to the adventure in attempting to get an estimate. I attempted to schedule an appointment online through their website. I was sent an email after doing so that said the appointment would be confirmed in approximately 24 hours (I did request an appointment for the following day). After 24 hours went by I called the 800 number on the email I was sent and provided should I have questions about the appointment. The person at the 800 number advised me to call the specific location for more information (I assumed that's who I was already calling). I called the specific location and was told that the online system wasn't synching up with their system so they had no record of my request. I was then told that the next available appointment they had wasn't for nearly two weeks later.... for an appointment to receive an estimate. Maybe they're just that good and subsequently busy but that seems ridiculous. read more

I had a freak accident occur with my six week old Civic. An umbrella from a local restaurant blew into the air and damaged my hood and roof (dents and paint removed). I took my car to CARSTAR where the work started on Tuesday morning when I dropped my car off. They completed the work by Friday afternoon. After inspection the paint matched perfectly, I couldn't even see where they started painting and the original paint stopped. The dent repair was immaculate, I couldn't even see where the original damage was. The staff was super friendly and accommodating even with me picking up my car late on Friday. They were in constant contact with me, notifying my when my car was progressing to the next "stage" in the repair. The only thing that I wished would have been different was the interior was kinda dirty, but maybe body repair shops do not consider cleanup as part of the work? If that is the case, no worries. Nothing was stained, just had to wipe some surfaces down and do some quick vacuuming. Overall I will take my car back to this body shop. Great work all! read more

Had a car accident and needed a repair, was recommended to go to this body shop by insurance company. (issue #1) Showed up to scheduled appt for inspection. The rep came outside and one of first comments he made was that the body shop is turning away cars to be left on the lot and they are turning away tow trucks wanting to drop off cars because they didn't have room for the car. Based on the inspection the rep advised he was rating the car as drivable however we didn't feel safe to drive as the safety system was compromised. Additionally the hood was crinkled causing it not to be accessible to open, if the battery dies we would have to force the hood open to jump start the battery, but then would not be able to resecure the hood to allow driving. Regardless of what I said, the rep still refused to mark the car undrivable and we had to drive it back home. The rep said that I could take the vehicle elsewhere when I was debating this with him. I called my insurance company and was advised the body shop is on breach of contract for not keeping the car on the lot. My insurance company advised that if we don't feel safe in the vehicle, they would approve a rental car since we had coverage, and this was regardless of how the body shop rated the drivability of the car. (issue #2) Since we drove the vehicle home and my insurance company called the shop to discuss why they didn't keep the car at the body shop, this somehow brought my repair date up from 4weeks away to the following week,, meaning they could fix the car much earlier. On a Monday morning my car was towed to the body shop, later in the afternoon they sent me a prerepair inspection form to sign. The form is intended to notate vehicle damage that was existing versus caused from the accident. The form had 7 indicators in all side panels and my rear panel that there were scratches. Knowing our car very well, there were no scratches when it was picked up by the tow truck. The rep sent me pictures of the "scratches" which were horrible pictures, they didn't prove or evidence anything. I let the body shop know that I can't sign the form blindly unless I see what they are referring to as I didn't agree, so I indicated I'd come out in three days to take care of it. This is so important because if someone signs a form blindly as this shop tried several times to get me to do, it creates opportunity for the shop to cause extra damage and the form would put responsibility back on us. Always do your due diligence and don't sign documents blindly or without comfort. (issue #3) The next day quickly arrived and a different rep called me asking about the situation. She tried to get me to sign the form blindly again, and I held firm refusing to sign until later in the week once I can witness the damage they are indicating in person. She said she can't have the car just sit there not being worked on. Later in the conversation she pulled a wild card and stated that they are refusing to repair my car and to go else where. So my car then was towed from this body shop to a completely different body shop for repair work. The next day I visited the location to inspect the car and showed them what the first body shop was suggesting in terms of damage for scratches, they were shocked at what this location did. The new body shop showed me there inspection report which didn't have one scratch marked (shocker!!!). Recap: So my thought is the original body shop team didn't set proper expectations on what to expect. They then tried to get me to sign something blindly after making me drive my vehicle which we were not comfortable doing. Although this location might have positive feedback, they have a bad apple (the inspection rep) who is awful at customer interactions. All it takes is one bad apple. read more

If I can give this shop a zero star I would. The worst experience I've ever experienced and wasted almost 3 months in trying to get my car repaired. It took about a month and a half to get an estimate scheduled and another month and a half to schedule my repair. I took my car in at the scheduled appt time for the repair. I waited 20 min or so since I had to meet with the estimator again who was hacking and coughing. Once the estimator looked at the car, she pointed out every single minor wear and tear on the car I guess to cover themselves. During my initial estimate they agreed to put a dab of paint on the trunk but now they say that the paint they used changed and they can no longer honor it. I was disappointed because the change happened while I waited a month and a half to get my car in for the repair. I informed the estimator that I was not happy with the service and she asked why and I informed her. She asked if I wanted to continue with the repair. I said yes since I will probably have to wait another month with another shop. She tried to hand a business card to me and I said that I am good since she was coughing. Within a min another woman (assuming a manager) comes out and says that they will not do the repairs and because I was rude to her employee and that I sweared. I don't recall swearing but definitely said "sucked". Wow - what a waste of 3 months! I don't recommend this business and will never use them again. I should have seen the red flag when I saw their sign on the counter that cites that they charge 3% when you pay with a credit card and do not accept checks. read more

This company is awful. I am writing this review after having my vehicle repaired by these guys after a neighbor's car rolled into my vehicle and caused some damage to the driver's side. This repair was done a few years ago, but now that time has passed, I see what terrible work this company does. First, they apparently had to remove the inside of the drivers door, and a few months after the repair, the handle inside of the door that pulls the door closed fell off, because they overtightened the screws and damaged the plastic that held it together. Then, the door sill protector fell off because they reused the old one and used some type of cheap spray adhesive, and it only lasted a few months. After about a year and a half, the clearcoat that they used after repainting the side of the truck started bubbling and peeling off, so the truck looks worse now than it would have looked had it never been repaired to begin with. read more

I had heard great things about this shop and I work for an insurance company and this is one of our preferred shops so I had no hesitation in trying it out. My vehicle was originally estimated to take two days, but I assumed it would need a supplement because the insurance company wrote the estimate low. I did end up needing a supplement and had to extend my rental until the end of the week. I expected to get a call on Friday about my vehicle being ready. I did not receive a phone call by 4pm and they close at 5pm so I called in myself. They told me the vehicle wasn't ready and probably wouldn't be until Monday. I called and extended my rental vehicle until Monday. Monday came around and I never received a phone call so I once again had to call in myself to get a status. I had to extend my rental again until Tuesday. I called Tuesday and left a message for Nicole as she was the person that was handling my vehicle and did not receive a call back at all. I called again Wednesday and spoke with someone else as Nicole was on lunch. I was told that the bumper that had been ordered was damaged so they had to order a new one and that it would probably be ready the next day. Nicole called me Thursday and said my vehicle would be ready on Friday and she would call me after their morning meeting to notify me what time I could pick it up. I waited until 1pm and had not received a phone call. Knowing they are closed over the weekend I wanted to make sure I got my vehicle picked up if it was ready so I called in myself. She told me my vehicle was ready and she had been busy so had been unable to call me. Earlier in the week I had told her I would need a break down of the delays to submit to the insurance company in order to be fully reimbursed for my rental since it was originally estimated to take two days and that is all that I had been approved for. She said that wouldn't be a problem and she would get one ready for me. When I went to pick up my vehicle on Friday I asked for the letter and she said she didn't have it and that she would email it to me later. I told her I would just wait for her to type one up as I wanted to get reimbursed for my rental as soon as possible. To top the whole experience off there is a fingerprint size smudge in the paint on my rear bumper (which is what they repaired). The person who did the walk around my vehicle noticed it when I was picking up my vehicle and tried to wipe it off, but it is an actual smudge in the paint and did not come off. I didn't even bother to complain about it as I do not want to have to deal with having my vehicle in the shop again. I completely understand there can be delays in the repair process, but it does not take a lot of effort to keep the customer notified of them so they can extend their rental vehicle if need be and make plans of when they will be able to pick up their vehicle. read more

What a joke. No customer service. No accountability. Just BS. After waiting a month to get my truck into the shop. CarStar updated my estimate after being there for weeks, from 3,000$ to over 4,500$. I am paying out of pocket so this was "great news". So weeks went by and finally I am getting text about work being done. Don't understand why I had to Have it there weeks ago when nothing was done. Finish date Was 1-24 so on the 24th I stopped in to pay only to find out they weren't done. So they updated my finish date to 1-27. Why wouldn't they tell me that before the 24th because they don't know. So after a week of maybe tomorrow's they finish on 1-30. When I finally pick it up they have to keep me waiting in the Lobby to fix obvious issues. Come to find out that they didn't even fix stuff that was on the original estimate. In the end it cost me more for them to take longer and for them not to do the work I asked them to do. Will never go back even if they decIde to make it right. read more

Absolutely the WORST experience I have ever had with any repair shop. My car was in their shop for almost 6 weeks. For the first 5 weeks it sat outside in the elements waiting for them to do the repairs. When they did start the repairs they rushed through them and did not pay attention to details, both minor and major. Bumper fitment was way off, they had scratched parts they removed and put them back on without even attempting to buff out the scratches. The window tint in the rear window was scratched when they put the window down with the tailgate smashed in - (they would eventually accuse me of lying saying it was that way). I left the vehicle there the first time I attempted to pick it up and it took them an additional week to TRY to correct those issues. When I went back the second time they had corrected most of the issues, but there was still issues with the bumper fitment. That night they took my car back into their shop and I waited an hour while they attempted fixing it. I took delivery of my vehicle and continued to notice things that they messed up or missed. They installed the wrong window trim on the tailgate and that left huge voids where water would get in the tailgate. There were bolts left off of bumper pieces. I absolutely refused to take my car back to them (and they will NEVER work on another of my vehicles) so my insurance company had me take it to another shop. Beyond the amateur repairs, the customer service is what absolutely upset me. They only reason I went to Jordan Rd Carstar is because my insurance company recommended them - and it was a mistake! They are simply a volume repair shop - they crank out the cars without taking care of the details. Just trying to pass off sub-par repairs and collect the insurance payment..... Hands down the WORST shop I have ever encountered. Their work is half assed at best. They were recommended by American Family (Who I have since switched from because of this recommendation and their horrid customer service from this accident.) They did not paint properly. There is black trim on the front bumper and there is so much overspray. Clearly someone did not tape the lines off properly! They did not fix the cowl, it still protrudes from the hood line and is crooked. The bumper and headlight are not properly aligned and there are gaps where there should not be. The wheel well was replaced with the wrong part! There are areas where the paint is now peeling! It's outrageous that this place is allowed to work on vehicles. We are going to another shop the insurance is covering repairs once more and this time, we picked. It will get done correctly. I don't know what other issues will arise from professional inspection, but what a nightmare. Save yourself the trouble, stress and worry and don't let these people touch your car! read more

HORRIBLE!! Absolutely the worst experience EVER! Do yourself a favor and take your business elsewhere. Poorly managed. Disorganized. Lack of communication. Missed deadlines (twice!) and underestimated the costs for repair. Needed some bodywork on my rear quarter panel. Brought my car into this disaster of a business on 5/31/16. Was told the work would take about two weeks. Well - three weeks into this ripoff, was told my car will be ready on 6/17. Not ready. Then, was told on 6/22 "good news sir, your car is ready." I get there on 6/23, "we are sorry sir, your car is not ready." UNBELIEVABLE!!!! If I ran my organization this way - I would be embarrassed. I hardly ever write reviews, but after the couple of weeks I had, I was so delighted to work with everyone at Jordan CARSTAR. I had the great misfortune of being hit by a deer, and was not happy to have to deal with a body shop in the first place. However, everyone I dealt with at carstar was friendly and professional and surprised me by going above and beyond. Hailey, who works at the front desk, was helpful and understanding in my time of need. I was confused about how the time line for the estimate was going to go, but she talked me through it and kept me updated. My car ended up being a total loss, so I can't comment on how the shop work was. Hailey and Sam, at the front desk, were very pleasant and helpful when I came in in a state of stress in order to get my belongings from my car. They even went the extra mile and printed out directions for me, because my phone had died. I didn't get the name of the man who walked me out to my car, but he was friendly and helpful, as well. Todd came over to help, and the two exceeded my expectations by removing my car racks for me and taking them to the car I was driving. Todd made sure to look in all the nooks and crannies to make sure I didn't miss anything. He was patient as I asked questions about the damage, and helped me understand the damage better. For what has been a traumatizing experience as it is, the folks at CARSTAR helped ease the pain by being exceedingly friendly and helpful. read more

Their pricing is competitive and they do not try to take advantage of you. They deal with the insurance companies as well. Sam and Hiatt are wonderful. I toook my car in for hail damage. Granted I needed to wait a while to get my vehicle in because there were so many cars in the area affected. Glad I waited! Someone rear-ended my son's car. I took it to Carstar where I learned that the car was probably totaled. The insurance company was slow to send an adjustor and confirm Carstar's estimate. The inspections and paperwork took 13 days. On the 13th day, Carstar raised the possibility of removing the damaged parts and finding more damage which would quadruple the insurance company's original estimate. Ok, it's not worth a repair. Then Carstar told me that there would be storage charges of $35/day for 13 days. $455 to get a totaled car back. For nothing. Maybe it's Carstar's way of making some money for doing nothing (as opposed to making no money for doing nothing). Carstar may do fine work but this still looks like a gouge. Maybe only the insurance companies usually see storage charges. I could have taken the car home while waiting. How could I have known about $35/day for parking? A small sign in the corner of the office had a list of about 8 items. I had to go over to the corner just to read it. The last item said, "Storage $35/day". I don't consider that fair warning of racking up a charge of $455. There were other signs on the wall unreadable from the front desk. Who knows what I missed by not visiting them? I called Carstar a couple of times while waiting. No one mentioned "storage" until presenting the nasty surprise of a bill. Never again. read more

Without a doubt the best auto body shop I have ever used!! I took my GMC Sierra into them after someone backed into it at a parking garage. CARSTAR staff was polite, helpful, friendly and bent over backwards. Working with them, Enterprise rental car and the insurance company was seamless. They said the repairs would take 14 business days; they called in 11 business days and said it was done. When I picked my truck up today, it looked better than new. Great job! I'm writing this review in hope that someone from the business will talk to their employees about communication and professionalism. I only came here because I had minor damage from a car wash that needed to be fixed. If it was up to me, I would've went elsewhere. Unfortunately, this was my only option from the car wash company. From the beginning, I had to call multiple times to schedule my estimate for my car. The first time I called I was put on hold, sent to a voicemail, and had no return calls. I Called again the next day and was finally scheduled for the estimate. The estimate was scheduled quickly, and I was told it would be about 2 days before they heard from the car wash for the approval and another 2 days to order the part. 10 days later I still never heard from Carstar. I called and spoke to the receptionist and she said she would leave a message for the estimator to call me back. A week later, still NO call back. I called again and I told the receptionist I never heard back and she said "she hasn't heard from the car wash." Well, it would be nice to know that since that's why I called a week before. For the next week, I called both the car wash and Carstar to see what was going on. I was eventually directed to Casey at Carstar who was not very pleasant and acted like I was inconveniencing her by calling to check the status of my claim. Finally, I got a hold of a very nice guy at the carwash who was very apologetic and called Carstar since he said he had sent them the approval numerous times. One month after the damage, I was finally scheduled for my repair. The receptionist is very nice, the estimator isn't very friendly if you call with questions on why it's taking so long, and there's apparently not very good communication with the company. It's not very good customer service when the client has to do the work to get things resolved. read more

But at Jordan Rd Carstar, the opposite happened to me. Matt calls me and tells me the repair turns out to be less than expected. $200 bones less. How many shops would keep that fact under wraps? This is truly a 1 star shop. They pulled perfectly good glass out of my truck and then proceeded to leave it parked outside, in a dirt lot in the rain and wind for 2 weeks. The truck was filthy when I picked it up inside and out. The carpet was still wet from the rain and I still can't get the smell out. We just had work completed on our 1995 Ford Taurus after being hit a couple of weeks ago. Worked mostly with Matt, and he did a wonderful job. The car has never looked better, and we've had it for about six years. Even added a cool pinstripe to each side. Highly recommended. These guys keep you updated at every step. My back windshield wiper was damaged. Upon further inspection they found there was damage to the frame of the car. They not only fixed the damage but they went above and beyond and did a detail on my car! The office team and estimators are awesome and have a great fun attitude.
