I rarely leave negative reviews, but my experience with Caliber Collision was extremely disappointing, and I'd like to express my concerns. First, it took over 40 days to repair my car, which was far longer than I was originally led to expect. While the cosmetic work itself looks good, there were still issues with the vehicle that were never addressed. My alignment was not fixed, and I specifically mentioned a new noise that occurs when turning the steering wheel. Despite bringing it to their attention, nothing was done about it. Granted, I was informed they may not be able to do the alignment. However the noise from the wheel when I turn right? That needed to be addressed! What upset me the most was how I was treated by one of the employees. During our interaction, she repeatedly shushed me, spoke to me in an extremely rude and dismissive manner, and even put her hand in my face to try to stop me from talking. I've never experienced that level of disrespect from customer service before. I understand that difficult conversations happen, but there is no excuse for treating customers that way. Insurance paid for this repair, so I don't have a comment abt the value. However, for over $3,000 that insurance paid, I'd expect the problems to be fixed. The only positive thing I can say is that the visible repair work on the car looks good. Unfortunately, the poor communication, unresolved issues, and unprofessional behavior overshadowed that. I would not choose this location again based on my experience, nor would I recommend my friends or family go to this location. Caliber Collision - 2006 Honda Accord LX in the Color White (Front View) - Body Shops Near Me - Florissant, Missouri

Caliber had our vehicle from 6/3 to 8/13. The repair was extensive and there was about a week delay due to supplement disputes with the insurance company but even with this being said, the vehicle sat untouched MUCH longer than it took to repair. When we finally got the vehicle back, we expected a quality repair just the same as we've received from other Caliber locations nationwide. Instead, there were MANY notable workmanship issues due lack of care and professionalism during the repair. Gouges in trim pieces from wrong tools being used in disassembly, missing pieces and screws because the crew misplaced them and just decided to leave them off, chips in a brand new hood due to mishandling and a broken tonneau cover that that was not broken when the vehicle entered the shop. The shop has agreed to repair everything except the tonneau cover they have admitted to damaging. They say they won't replace it because it had pre-existing cosmetic issues. Instead of Caliber taking accountability for their mistake and replacing the tonneau cover, they made up a story saying they couldn't help but damage it because of a stripped screw. This is a lie because the cover is secured to the vehicle with a hand tightened knob that Caliber broke when they removed it for the repair. We've had the vehicle back for almost 3 weeks now and the only resolution Caliber has offered for the tonneau cover is for us to file a new claim and they'd pay the deductible since there was cosmetic damage to the cover when it came into the shop. That is unacceptable. To top it all off, Caliber didn't even have the courtesy to wash the vehicle before returning it to us after a $10k+ repair. I can't help but think they skipped the wash because everything in the bed would have gotten wet because of the now damaged tonneau cover. We've had the car back for nearly a month, still waiting for Caliber to fix what they messed up during the repair and to pay for the tonneau cover they damaged. read more

I wish I could give -0 stars Automotive I had work done on my 2013 Dodge Charger on 6/23/2021.I recently noticed paint was peeling in the front & the bumper was coming apart from the front of the car my car was overheating also . I called this company &spoke with Jackie who was very kind said it will be fixed it's a life warranty on the work long as I have the car. Appt 3/14/24 & I explained to the lady when I arrived the paint was cracking in the front & overheating. this person Alyssa was very rude& falsely accused me of having a car accident I begin to ask her when she in the car with me was and show me documents of this she just continued to state false accusations. I told her to pull a carfax &show me of an accident she would not listen .I told her this car is overheating and can check records where I had to bring back before about the piece on the hood coming up .she refused to listen &I told her I no longer wanted to deal with her she is accusing me of something &she is a liar. She then said someone else had to be driving the car then. I asked for her manager, Ricky general manager comes out who was just rude as her& said don't yell at him. I told him don't expect me to smile & be happy when this lady just clearly lied and stating false information . My car has now stopped & I was told it is the radiator, and the liquids have dripped down to my engine which this could of been resolved back 3/14/24 this has caused me to miss doctor appts , work days and out of pocket expenses, clearly the work was not done correctly I want to see documents showing I had an accident with these damages was in an accident after this work was done at Caliber Collison from 2021..You cannot falsely accuse a person of anything without providing proof. This defamation is of my character. I am demanding proof showing an accident & my car to be repaired my next step if this is not honored, I will be filing a lawsuit to share my experience with this company and the workers I encountered will be exposed. I paid out of my pocket and over expenses were fully covered in 2021 under insurance all paid through fully covered insurance. I am willing to speak with media because this is not right. Now as of 9/20/2024 my car has been towed several times and now was told it is completely ruined . I am now without a car and again continue to miss very important doctor appointments and a loss of income . All because on 3/14/24 Alyssa refused to listen and made false accusations. This is caused me a great deal of stress and loss of income .Now I am being told it will be additional $4500 to repair . I have documents of the repairs that were done out of my pocket on work that was supposedly done by caliber collision .I have had several of my cars repaired at this shop without any issues and the new people at this company are very unfriendly and horrible customer service!!Stay Away from this shop!! I have spoke with a person named Shay Simms who asked for all of my receipts which I provided now he's saying the parts came from a third party vendor and not under warranty how the hell I'm supposed to know this shop works with third parties I doubt with Caliber Collision!!! I strongly suggest watch out for this shop they don't honor lifetime warranty!! I will be contacting the news media to do a full investigation on this shop !!! read more

Caliber Collision Florissant did an expedient and thorough job of repairing my vehicle. They did high quality work and used quality parts ensuring that everything was as it should be with my truck. I was contact per my request to speak with the manager after a service employee called to tell me that I needed to come to the shop and do a walk around my vehicle to explain damages and give authorization for repairs. I have never been asked and processed this as claim with State Farm insurance to represent me. Well the angered GENERAL MANAGER RICK STEINAMAN as he identified himself to me after repeating I needed to a walk around and physically authorized repair s. If did not want to "YOU NEED TO GET ON THE PHONE WITH STATE FARM AND HAVE YOUR CAR MOVED SOMEPLACE ELSE!" Say less. I am awaiting State Farm to move to another location on the "preferred " list. Had the estimate. Prepaid the deductible so they could order the necessary parts. The repair was supposed to take a week, and I took the car in almost a month after the estimate as scheduled, for the work to be done. It is now 30 days and I don't have my car, have had terrible customer service (not getting updates as promised, one person begin ugly with me, being told the car was in paint when they had not even received the parts...) and my insurance company is still arguing with them. They took my car KNOWING they did not have the parts for the repair. I understand supply chain issues and all they would have had to do was say they needed to reschedule and would call when the trunk lid was in. Exceptional group of people there at the Florissant location. I dealt with Lorraine, Elisa, Lauren and Shawn E., who were great to work with, knowledgable, professional and surpassed my expectations. Understanding that visiting a "collision shop" may not be a high spot in anyones day, these folks did a great job for me; handling insurance, kept me notified, did a wonderful job repairing my truck and set up a rental for me. I wish I can give them a zero !!! They do not honor lifetime warranty . I took my car to be repaired due to paint peeling and piece not staying glued properly on the hood also my radiator over heats . The issues I did have before was when I had to take it back so they could reglue the part because it was not fixed properly . The agent had the audacity to say the car had been in an accident they just don't want to fix their mess up . I would love to know when she drove with me ever in my car , She tried to make excuses , when I called her out on that she said someone else drove it ,I have full coverage insurance and I don't have time to play games if work was previously done and needs corrected and warranty I expect it to be fixed I will definitely tell the world about my experience on 3/14/24 @9:40 am ,I have never had an issue with this shop like this until today this agent is very rude and ignorant and the manage is just as bad .
