My car windshield was cracked due to a blown tire hitting us on the I15 heading back to Vegas from cali. My insurance, progressive, handled the claim and brought my car here for repairs. They did a great job with fixing the paint on my hood and the windshield seems fine however when I got my car back they had gouged my dashboard along the entire length of it where the glass meets the plastic, assumingly while replacing the windshield. It looks like crowbar marks and they, I'm sure, thought I would not notice it and tried to pass it off as done well; however I bought the car brand new and have had it for two months so the fact I get in my car and see these gouges in the reflection of my windshield is really appalling. This company does not do quality work which is surprising because they took five days longer then the original quoted time frame. read more

Getting into an accident is no fun: Dealing with insurance companies, the other party involved, arranging for a rental car, blah blah blah... And the only positive thing that came out of that experience was going to Caliber Collision Centers. Stepping into Caliber's office was pleasant, the workers were friendly, nice and attentive. I waited about 10 minutes before the employee took a look at my car and I turned over my keys. I waited longer for the rental car company to pick me up than the entire check-in process! They called a few days later to give me an update. That they had all the parts in and they should be completed with my car in 7 business days. They explained that they were in contact with my insurance company to discuss the additional damages that were not included in the estimate under the hood of the car. They assured me that everything would be taken care of (it wasn't my fault so the other insurance company was paying for everything). As promised, my car was ready on the day they told me. I got my car back looking better than before the accident! They detailed my car, cleaned the inside, somehow they got all the nicks out (in places that weren't even affected by the accident!). They made me feel that they genuinely cared about my car (as if it were my child-haha) and were so pleasantly nice during the entire process. This company was recommended to me by a coworker and I will highly recommend anyone to take their car in to Caliber Collision Centers. My experience was exceptional! read more

My husband and I were involved in a car crash with a DUI driver and my insurance company had Caliber Collision take care of my truck and oh man did they ! Jubal went above and beyond and was taking care of us the whole way by always keeping us updated without US even having to call ! and we also received automated texts of what status the truck is in. They even let us come down and see it while they were still working on it which was so nice on their part. Not real happy with final product. I had to take back to "correct" work which instead of fixing only made the issue worse. Not only was the work not right but seems there is no "quality control" to check work BEFORE it is returned to the customer. No one checking to see if work is actually complete. My driver side door was replaced, the interior panel had to be reused to keep it looking like other parts which was ok, but they broke the clips at the front of the door and ended up putting in a screw to "fix". Since it really wasn't visible and the truck is 13 years old, I let it go...But what I didn't know until I drove it a distance, they broke the clips at the rear of the panel and now it rattles even more. I'm not taking it back as each time it goes back it returns in worse shape. I'll spend the money myself to make sure it is fixed right and the first time. I was charged for work that wasn't done and that upsets me also. I'm sure some work is fine, but I would suggest you do your home work more before using this place. No, not a place I would go to. read more

Never heard of this place until my insurance company recommended it. And I'm so glad they did. My parked car was involved in an accident involving a drunk driving. Driver was arrested. My car was drivable and I brought it to caliber a few days later (which was the only time I could make the appointment). Friendly staff. Clean facility. They did such a great job on my car, it drove and looked better then when I brought my car in. My car feels like a brand new car again. I brought my car to my dealership to get an oil change and to have it inspected. The dealership couldn't find anything wrong. Caliber did such a great job that I'm going to bring in my other car to have them fix some door dings and chipped areas. They do not report anything to car fax which is a plus when you are ready to sell your car. =) read more

I was able to get my car in right away, and Jim worked with my husband and I and kept us up on the status of repair. Jim was great - explained everything perfectly. I had my car towed here at the advice of my insurance after the front end was hit from the side. The day I was told it was ready, I didn't get 10 min away when the front end started shimming when I tried to turn or brake. Took it back & they said a part was slightly bent into th rotor but now okay. A month later I started getting warning light about front camera & brake sensor malfunction. Went back, they cleared it & said it was good. A week later they came back only now the cruise control had and error. Took it to them & they said the sensor needed calibration & scheduled an appt. at the Mazda dealer after the weekend. They cleared it again & 4 hrs later, all tHe warnings plus ABS break warning & while driving with foot on gas, breaks engaged. Mazda calibrated & few days later happened again. Mazda found they had painted over a sensor area so they cleaned it & gave me the car. 3 days later warnings again, Mazda kept car for a couple of days to find the issue. Turns out the sensor was missing a bolt & was just placed in the area it belonged. They also found the wheel bearing & hub weren't installed correctly. Mazda had to keep the car to repair as it was dangerous to drive & I was apparently very lucky. I filed a complaint with my insurance about the substandard work & being put in a dangerous vehicle. District manager called & offered to inspect vehicle & allowed me to have Mazda conduct. Turns out my suspension was looses & shifting side to side, there was an important part that was damaged having to do with suspension and many bolts that were loose. They may be fine for some makes, they failed with my one year old Mazda. read more

From beginning to end, this experience was painful and uncomfortable. Caliber tried making up for their numerous service failures, and while it was acknowledged and appreciated, the point is I shouldn't have been bungled up so much to begin with. I chose Caliber because my insurance company recommended them after a guy rear-ended me. My insurance said I could bring the car to them any time, so I brought it in bright and early on a Monday morning. The girl at the front desk told me I needed an appointment and that no one could see me until then. I said, "Well, my insurance didn't mention an appointment, it's already here and they already did their own inspection. Can't someone just see me now?" No, no can do, even though suspiciously the guy who came in behind me was seen without an appointment. Did I not object enough? I thought I did. Regardless, she set an appointment for Thursday afternoon - keep in mind, I'm there at 7:30 am on Monday morning. I asked if I could just leave my keys - nope, no can do. I tell her I'm leaving the car there as it's not safe to drive, is she sure I can't just leave the keys? No, I can't. I'm already annoyed at this point, but it gets much, much better. Thursday, I drive all the way from work (central Vegas) to Henderson for this appointment to be told Richard, the guy assigned to my case, is in an all day training and not there. What?! So why did I have to wait 3 days later for an appointment he's not even at? The guy who inspected my car seemed nice enough and thorough, yet he mentioned he'd seen my car sitting on the lot for days, collecting dust. Yes, I tell him, because no one wanted to be bothered with my car before then. Days pass. I call, asking for an update. Stan tells me they found more damage than GEICO had found originally and GEICO needed to come back out. I tell him again that I've been in a rental for a while now and can I expect to have my car back before the rental expires? Sure, he says. Then, more time passes. You can already see where this is going, can't you? I finally get an estimated date of completion texted to me - over a month after I dropped the car off to them. A month?! Really?! This also puts me almost 2 weeks into a rental that would have to come out of my pocket. Haha, nope! So I call my insurance adjuster, who talks to Caliber after they refuse to pay for the extra days, and Caliber tells GEICO......"we don't think we've done anything wrong." OH REALLY?!?!? After I push the issue and then have to get my husband involved to push the issue, suddenly, not only are they willing to pay for my rental but now that they're on the hook for it, they can get the repairs done in a few days as opposed to a few weeks. Funny how that works, isn't it? The repairs overall were done fairly well, other than me having to return for them to fix one issue and them leaving a dirty, oily rag in my car, which is why they get 2 stars instead of 1. BUT, with the abundance of body shops that exist in Vegas, why go somewhere with terrible customer service when you can get good repair work AND good customer service? I won't be going back to Caliber if I ever need work done again, and I won't be referring friends and family there either. read more

Not even sure where to begin. My wife's new car was hit on the side and I called Caliber to see if they had capacity since out shops we're not accepting new cars for 2-3 weeks out. I get the car to them and it takes them a week just to figure out the damage, the advisor (whose name I cannot remember but I doubt he's still there) never followed up with me when he promised and the experience was just a let down from the beginning. Fast forward a month later and the cars ready for pick-up, we drive down to inspect and there's what appears to be a piece of shop rag in the paint. The advisor tells me he will take it to the back and "try to buff it out", please tell me you're not serious. Clearly, that didn't work so off with the rental car we go and return a few days later and everything looks good. After a little time, my wife tells me the car doesn't sound right so I take it for a test drive to see what's wrong now. The doors on the passenger side both rattle and when you close them they sound like a cheap tin can. I speak with the manager who seems like he was going to help but never followed up with me as he told me he would. It's been some time with no resolution so I reach out to my insurance who calls the body shop to give them a chance to resolve this but yet again they never bothered to follow up. So now I cannot get a callback and I'm absolutely not letting them touch my car so off to another body shop it goes and Caliber can foot the bill to fix whatever it is they did or didn't do properly. The only reason I gave them 2 stars was because the bodywork does actually look pretty good even though they cut corners. I wish I would have waited to get into the body shop I originally wanted to take my car to. Lesson learned. Note to Caliber corporate - This shop needs better training or accountability (possibly both), maybe this is isolated to this location but it was an awful experience. Even getting a rental car through this shop was a challenge as they had us waiting there for a ride that wasn't coming and when we drove ourselves to Enterprise they didn't even book the car properly. read more

I went into the facility to get an estimate, and to my dismay, I was greeted with cursing coming from the office. The consultant that I later found out to be Julie was very loud and unprofessional. When the nice young lady up front went into the office to let her know I was there, she was greeted by complaints about not wanting to help me. Needless to say, I did not have my vehicle repaired here. When she came out to see my vehicle, she was very nice, but when she went back to her desk, I could hear the whining about helping me from the lobby. I was in an accident in April and I am sure you know how stressful that can be- well, Caliber Collision was awesome! Not only was my van ready before they said it would be but their customer service was AMAZING and GENUINE! Melissa at the front desk was kind and helpful and Jeremy was great keeping both my husband and I in the loop. Stan, however, went above and beyond to make sure my van was taken care of! Apparently, before we bought the van (we bought it used from a dealership) someone had spliced tractor trailer wires into the back turning signals to the van- so when I got rear ended- my insurance company was not going to cover the lights because it had been altered (even though not by us!) I am a grad student with twins and so to pay out of pocket in addition to the deductible, was not an option and I didn't know what to do- I got a call from Stan telling me to bring it in and they'd try to fix it! THEY DID!! They really made me feel at home while I waited and they are all so friendly!! Makes you feel like you've known them for years! Shout out to Jan, who offers popcorn or muffins in the morning. It's not all she dose, she keeps the place in smooth working order. I first found out about this place when I got smashed in the rear end about 6 months ago. The turnaround was 2 days and my car looked new. I was referred by the other persons insurance company so I went there. This time I was smashed on the right side of my car, again not at fault. I went to 3 different body shops for 3 different estiments. I thought I was going to have to go to court but the other guy folded and calmed responsibility. all 3 estiments were around $300.00 of each other but Caliber was the lowest. I chose Caliber because of the past experience I had with them. This time it had taken 8 days for repairs. (more damage then last time) I have had 3 accidents in 35 years and 2 of them in just the last 6 months. Service and work on your car is the best in my eye's. When I picked up my car it was detailed inside and out. The floor mats were shampooed and everything was spotless. Don't wast your time going anywhere else. read more
