Duane kept me updated of the repair status, and was very responsive to my questions during the estimate and repair periods.

Our vehicle had a broken hood, damaged fenders, and complex engine issues, but they far exceeded our expectations. The very quick response and quality of their mechanical and body work is absolutely excellent--everything looks and runs perfectly. On top of tackling both heavy collision and engine repairs, their pricing was very reasonable, and the turnaround time was incredibly quick. If you are on the fence about a mechanic or body shop service handling extensive damage, trust R&R. They are professional, efficient, and do top-tier work right at your convenience!

They were available to come out immediately. Despite later always being too busy to finish their work. 2.) The amount they quoted on the phone was doubled when they came onsite. $450 to $900 3.) They didn't ask for a paint code before starting work. 4.) They only took payment in forms that can't be refunded, like venmo and zelle. My complaints with the work: They used a plain black paint on a car that has a black with metal flecks. The difference in color is obvious. They didnt resolve all dents we discussed. They said they would come back within the next couple days to finish. After a month of many many follow ups in text and on yelp, they still have never come, and at this point I'm sure they never will. Don't use R&R Mobile Auto Body. I'm sure he will reply to this with something like 'Sorry for the inconvenience. We been short on staffed, we are now getting back to normal if you can reach back out to us...' Like they do to other similar reviews from other people that were ghosted by them.

Introduction to why I was here:…read more About to wrap up the 2nd of the two 2024 runner-ups now with C is for Carbody Collison Center, in alphabet series and will be getting to 2025 picks + runner-ups simultaneously. In October 2023 while on 495 on near the PG/Montgomery County border, hundreds of motorcyclists were causing chaos and very slow traffic on that Sunday gathering on the side blocking lane and lane splitting between the slow cars. This was insane and incredibly annoying. One of the motorcyclists rammed into my car while lane-splitting. He flipped his motorcycle. He picked up his motorcycle stumbled off to the side, and I tried to get the heck out of there as I didn't want to risk my safety with this awful motorcycle gang. Once I got to where I was going about 45 minutes later, I saw the damage, which wasn't horrible, but it wasn't just some minor nick. Visits here: That next day or two, I shopped around a bit in Laurel & North Laurel, and Carbody Collison had a better rate than the others. Also, Bob was kind and empathic to what happened. It wasn't urgent, but it could become a problem more so in winter because of snow/road salting as bottom part had to be replaced. I wanted to wait to see if insurance would go through, but they refused to cover it. Ultimately, that January 2024 we started the process, but it was going to take some time to get the part needed and would take them some time to do all the repairs. We agreed I'd drop the car off when I was going out of town; I rideshared to BWI airport. A week later I got back to town. Although they had agreed on finishing by then, there was something that was delayed even though we had agreed I come back that Friday afternoon, which I took a rideshare to get from my place to there, which isn't that far. Bob was nice enough to at least let me use a loaner car as I had a couple of other things I was doing, drove home, and then came back in the late afternoon. There was a bit of a tiff over windshield wipers they had replaced, which I thought was going to be cheaper, which I said I didn't agree to that much. He didn't want to continue to too much arguing and credited for either free or nominal price. I drove off to Columbia where I was going that evening. As I was driving back on MD-32 at US 1, I heard a loud noise like something was scrapping on the road. I got off at the next exit and went to the Savage MARC train station parking garage to see what was going on. I saw the piece hanging down. I snapped back in place, which got me home. But then the next day, I went down again, I stopped at a place in Laurel that I knew was open on Saturday. They did a temporary fix to get me through the weekend. I revisited on Monday, explained what happened. Bob apologized seeing what was going on; some screw was missing. He quickly got the staff to put back in while I waited there. In summary, Bob was overall nice & empathic except for a bit of heated discussion over price of an unrelated windshield wiper. I liked the price relative to other places (although I still didn't like as it wasn't cheap). They did a good job overall, but the missing bolt issue was annoying. They did a good job on timelines, but still a bit off on that, but at least got the loaner car for that afternoon as they were wrapping stuff up. This was mostly positive, and while there were some negatives, Bob did do a good job alleviating the negatives.

But I think the car parts they used are for an older car model, my car looks lopsided. I was hit on the top right corner, there's a small gap between the door to the front, and it's not the same on the left side door. There is also a part on the left side that sticks out a bit.

We asked for a shorter time since it was my daughter's spring break. At first they said it was ok but then they changed their mind. They insisted on a minimum of three weeks. I think that they run a racket on the tesla loaners and charge the insurance with luxury rentals. Their main focus was to secure as much money they could procure for themselves ignoring all the requests of the customers. In total they took around $12,000 for a repair of less than $2000 for an average paint shop. (they tell everyone a minimum of three weeks!)

They gave me a repair estimate of $17,335.18 on October 15, which seemed reasonable, and I assumed work was being done. For over two months, I waited with no updates. Suddenly, on December 5, they emailed demanding the loaner back immediately and threatened a police report for "failure to return a rental vehicle." I called their rep (Alfonso), who said he would extend the loaner--he never followed up. That evening, the loaner was remotely disabled (Valet Mode) while I was driving, stranding me overnight in 20°F snowy/rainy weather on a busy DC street. I had to pay for towing myself to avoid freezing. The next morning (December 6), they called police (Rockville and Prince George's County), claiming I failed to return the rental. They also told officers my Florida license was "fake" or fraudulent. Police cleared me immediately. I repeatedly explained my disabilities (immune-compromised, OCD, ADHD, anxiety) and asked for accommodations to get my medication and belongings from the loaner (less than ¼ mile away at a friend's house). They refused and left me stranded without transportation or meds ever since. Now they demand over $14,000 in storage/rental fees--almost as much as the repair estimate--yet no work was ever done on my car. I have video, emails, bills, and records. This was unsafe, unprofessional, and unacceptable. Avoid if you value safety and clear communication.

Elite was recommended to me by a friend's brother who works at Bench Mark in Columbia - without any hesitation. The scratch was a few inches long, and went from rear door to rear panel and some of the bottom of the car. Small, but really badly located. The first time I went, they took a look at the car, gave me an estimate - it took about a half hour. When scheduling, keep in mind, like every car place in baltimore, they aren't open outside of normal business hours. You can pick up and drop off closer to 5, but estimates will need to be closer to 4. Second time was the drop off. The receptionist (very friendly and helpful) called Enterprise for me. A few things I learned: don't do a drop off on a Monday, Enterprise gets slammed that day. Call them in advance - it takes a while to get through. She was persistent though, and once they knew I was waiting, enterprise got me fast. Third time was the pick up. The car was waiting out front and the work was done really well. It looked like the scratch had never happened, and the windows had been immaculately cleaned. (Another thing to note: The fingernail scratches on the door and small scratches from the winter to the finish hadn't been touched by them - so consider paying extra to get your car back looking new, but don't expect it included if you're trying to save money.) Total cost was 1100 - a pretty penny (I'm not sure if this is good or bad), but for a new car it seemed worthwhile to get it done right. There is a %2 fee for paying with credit cards and a $500 limit on checks - so either bring cash, get creative with combining payments, pay with a debit card, get a cashier's check. I forgot my check, so the receptionist waived the fee for me - which was greatly appreciated since insurance wasn't involved. I was informed as I was waiting, that Enterprise can pickup the car from their lot. However, if your rental gets damaged while its left there, that's your responsibility, so I opted to wait for them to pick me up. All in all - it was a lot of money I didn't want to spend (just to get my car back to normal) but they did do a great job so I would recommend them to others.

It was right next to my work, which was good since I ended up having to go there so many times. They were friendly and professional, so I had high hopes going in. But overall, their performance was lacking. It took a couple weeks to order the door part, and then they said they needed a whole week to fix it, making it the longest repair I ever had besides a whole engine replacement. Ok, at least they let me know, but then at 3PM the day it was supposed to be done they called and said they weren't going to be done. Why did they just figure that out then when they had the car a whole week? I had paid for a rental car and was going have to pay for several more days over a weekend because of their last minute delay, and I asked them to cover the extra days because they missed their deadline and they refused. Well they finish the repair and it looks good, so I was ok with the experience if not thrilled. But, a couple weeks later my driver's side door won't open! I had to climb in from the other side! Pretty bad, so I take it back again, and they fix it. But a couple weeks later the same thing! They have fixed it again, but who knows if it will stay fixed? The car has been to the shop numerous times over almost three months. All this for a dented car door!
