With everything I have gone through with this location I would NEVER use Caliber again. My vehicle was hit while parked and the other drivers insurance company sent me here. Every single thing has taken longer than they said it would now it's been over 6 months since the accident almost and they are finally installing the windshield on my truck, I was scheduled today for an 11am appointment only to still be here at 4pm waiting for my truck to be ready, 5 hours for a windshield is ridiculous. I grew up in a local mom and pop mechanic shop and know that windshields only take 1.5 hours with wait time for setting. Here to find out the glass place wasn't even scheduled to come put my window in until 1pm and then didn't show up until after 3pm and the only response is sorry. If you need your vehicle repaired in a timely manner absolutely go somewhere else, your time doesn't matter to Caliber. read more

I took my car here for rear-end repairs after being hit. The other guy's insurance was Geico and this is their approved repair vendor. I was skeptical based on the mixed reviews here + i know ZERO about autobody work so i just gave it a shot. Thankfully everything went great! The drop off was seamless, they managed my expectations for about how long it might take to get parts and do the repairs. They kept me posted w/ text messages so i never needed to call them for updates. They even let me change my pick up date. I felt everyone was very polite and the repair work brought my car back to new status. Car Accidents (especially the ones that aren't your fault) are a real bummer but this outcome restored my faith in repair people, and even Geico. read more

I have never written a Yelp review in my life. However, I am so unhappy with my experience here that I thought I should share. After being beyond patient with this establishment while I waited 7 months for them to acquire all the parts needed for my car, they did not treat me with the same decency or respect. My car had been hit back in August and while still being able to use my car, I wanted the huge dent and paint chipping fixed as the person who hit me would be paying for it. They told me it would take two weeks. It has now been two weeks and 4 days and I still have yet to get my car back. They have given me 3 dates in which they said it would be done by and they continue to push them back because the person who replaces the glass cannot come for an undisclosed reason. I am extremely understanding of how hard it is to acquire car parts at this time and I am understanding that it is not their fault if a particular person specialized in a particular part of the car cannot come. However, as a student who commutes an hour to school twice a week and has a part time job, this has been an unavoidable yet extremely stressful situation. I called them today to see if it would be ready and I was told that they cannot guarantee it. The people who work there are kind, which is why I feel bad leaving this review. However, I am beyond unhappy with my experience given the amount of patience I have given them. read more

Worst experience ever. Despite being told that my car would be ready on a date, it wasn't. Then, after having had multiple discussions with multiple people about getting a ride to pick up the car, that this could be done they then refuted this had ever been said. This was the worst experience I have ever had! They didn't repair my car correctly, and when I complained, I had to rent a car (which I couldn't afford). They had my vehicle for almost two months, charged me an unreal amount of money, and when I drove it off their lot the 'check engine' light came on. When I brought the car back to them they accused me of 'doing something to the car'! ( I drove it 1 mile from their shop before I returned it!) I do NOT trust this company, and I have told everyone I know not to use them. I cannot believe that this is Allstate Insurance Company's preferred repair shop! I used Caliber Collision in Kingston as it was mentioned by my insurance company, Geico. I couldn't have asked for better service or results. My car looks better than new, and everyone there is very polite and professional. The service manager, Daniel, is extremely courteous. Their building is new and clean, and it's right next door to Enterprise where I rented a car while they repaired mine. I would definitely use them again for any body work without hesitation. They even detailed the car inside and out before it was returned to me, it looks great! read more

I have Geico Insurance and when I had my accident, this is one is one of the body shops they partner with so that is why I went here. My work was estimated to take 7 days as per the Geico adjuster who works on premise. My vehicle took in excess of a month to get back. My rental allotment ran out, and they were unwilling to pick up the tab. The car came back to me with a brand new fender damaged due to un repaired damage under the car. The service manager, Daniel lied and said he spoke to me. When I finally got the genetal mgr involved they did cover my rental and finished the repairs.. another 4 days. No rental this time. I put a call in to the district manager, never called me back! This is absolutely the worst experience I have ever been involved in. I would not go near this place or recommend to anyone. Possibly the worst customer service I have ever experienced. Claims to contact you with progress are completely false. They only called me to tell me my car would not be ready on the promised date (twice). I was originally told it would be a 10 day job, then a twelve day job, then 14 days. I got it back on day 17. Everyone I spoke to had a different story - "it will be ready," "it won't be ready," "okay to pick it up at 1," "no one called to tell you to pick up." The manager was very rude. They are being taken over by another collision company and the first thing the new company should do is remind people that customers pay their salaries. The repair was fine - but that should be standard service, so no extra stars for that. read more

However, remembering my experiences from many years ago, I had much trepidation in searching out a body shop after I was rear-ended on the highway last week. Both my insurance company, Geico, and Colonial Subaru recommended this shop and I was not disappointed. The work was done to perfection, on time and the staff were courteous and professional. ****WARNING***** My horrendous experience is quite long.. but to sum it up.. Driver door and front fender needed to be replaced due to collision with deer. Car was attempted to be returned to me 3 times with additional damage incurred by the shop through their "Repair Process." bumper was dented and paint missing on adjacent panels to the repaired area. Front fender was not aligned, mirror scratched, push button start was removed and missing, driver door handle poorly reattached and electronics in the handle were never reconnected. VERY POOR QUALITY. I do not know how they can be considered an auto body shop. Expressed my nightmare with district manager who's only comment was we're sorry. read more
