I recently took my Audi in for a fair amount of bodywork, and I couldn't be happier with the results. After a series of 3 side-by-side scrapes, all in 1 accident, the entire right side of my Audi was scraped up pretty bad! It included losing the passenger mirror along with horrible scrapes along the quarter panels, the 2 doors, as well as the bumper!!! And while at Maher's shop I also had them do additional work on the left side, it had old dents! Overall....these guys did """ONE HELL OF A JOB, IN EVERY WAY YOU CAN IMANGINE"""! We went in with our brand new Lincoln Continental that had some weird scratches on the lower rear bumper. Never figured out how they got there. Joe said it was "marginal" whiether a repaint ($600) or just buffing it out. He buffed it out and did a good waxing. It is perfect with only a couple of tiny spots that even a trade-in guy wouldn't notice. I'm gonna have Joe fix up my 16 year old Ford Ranger. It has only 63000 miles on it. We will go back and get an estimate. Joe is our go-to place from now on. And Joe is a really great guy to work with. Caveat: You can only get to JR"s when driving down Hwy 28 towards Kingston. It's just before Kenco and you come to a curve to the right and LOOK FOR HIS SIGN! Then pull over the fog line and pull off and go up the hill. Also, when you leave, you can only turn right off from Joe's place onto Hwy 28 and have to go down to Kenco, pull a uey and go back up 28. If you continue towards Kingston, it's not a problem, just keep on going towards the roundabout.

Technician called me to question the need for my appointment despite the fact that my windshield was cracked 6 to 8 inches across the passenger side. Job was supposed to take 2 to 2 1/2 hours and remained incomplete after four hours. When I called to speak with customer service, the greeter hung up on me. She then promptly left in a car with personalized plates. My car was test drove for close to an hour and still not completed. This was four hours later after a scheduled windshield replacement due to a cracked window. Store manager indicated he would follow up with me the next day to finalize the service and I never heard from him. This would be my fifth window replacement over eight years all with Safelite in Middletown, except for this one. Avoid Poughkeepsie Safelite

I know that they come to your house to do the replacement but when there's a camera on your windshield you have to bring it to them to do. No problem, we had an appointment within 24hours and we picked up my car the next day. Most of the places that I found online had phone numbers that were no longer in service or there had been no activity on their websites for a while. When I phoned Shining Eagle, the voicemail robotically repeated the number I just had dialed, so thinking that it was no longer a business, I dropped the call without leaving a message. Within minutes, I had a callback. At this point, I was just so happy to talk to a real person, that I decided to just go with it. The gentleman was very professional; he asked questions about the vehicle, the shape it was in, and what I wanted to have done. We agreed on a day/time and price. I sent a follow-up text confirming the info with the address. About 15 minutes before he was scheduled to arrive, he texted, apologizing to say he would be slightly late due to an unforeseen family situation and asked if his new ETA (30-45 minutes later) would still work. He then arrived at the new agreed-upon time. Once here, he didn't waste any time. I learned that he has been detailing cars for about a decade. Clearly, it is a real passion. He had everything he needed and was incredibly organized. We again reviewed the objectives at the car and then then for the next 3 1/2 hours, he worked non-stop.
