On the other hand, they flat out told me that I should expect to pay ~15-20% out-of-pocket on an insurance claim as their estimate and work would be much more involved than what insurance would pay for. In addition, they charged me $35 for an estimate. For that purpose alone, I will never go back to them. It feels like a cheap way to make a few bucks...not impressed!!!

They also worked directly with Geico to get their payment on the claim which made it so easy for us. They can contact you via phone or email, which is awesome for us since phone is hard to answer during the work day and many auto shops do not email customers to schedule work or ask questions. The location and office is very clean and everything seemed very organized. We were called/emailed when both cars were ready to go and both of them look great. It's crazy the difference between. This business and another collision center that I dealt with a couple weeks prior. Unfortunately my wife and I had both of our cars damaged within weeks of each other. I made the mistake of going with another company even though I had been recommended to JD's. I have since learned my lesson and will never use any other business besides them. I have to admit I am a tough customer and when it came to the idea of having someone repair my 2024 Raptor R scared me. I didn't want some repair that people could look at and tell that something had happened. They out that worry to rest. I was blown away by their level of detail and they even had to order some additional parts because of damage that I couldn't see. They gave me timely updates and even got the truck back to me sooner than expected. The cherry on top was that it came back cleaner than when I dropped it off. I am not just saying they washed the truck (which they did). I am pretty sure they even vacuumed they truck and were able to get dog hair out that even I hadn't been able to get and I keep my truck showroom ready except for the floor mats. That's where they really took it a notch above. They cleaned my floor mats to where they looked brand new. I know that doesn't seem like much but it's the little things like that combined with the big things (exceptional repair) that make this team the best of the best.
