Jake and the team at Caliber in Saratoga Springs have been just terrific in helping our family over the past few years with dings on our car both small and large. Today, after I noticed that my great Mom (who always has been treated great at Caliber) might've in the past week bumped the front of her car into a snow pile and caused the bumper to skip a few of it's clips a bit, I called up early this morning and explained the situation. I mentioned that they might be familiar with Mom and they said they remembered her fondly and that I could bring the car around to get checked out. The fellow that I had spoken with at 8AM was the same one behind the front desk when I arrived for our 11:30 appointment and he immediately remembered our conversation and called back to Jake, the General Manager, and Jake was out in 3 minutes, looked over the bumper, went in the back for another 2 minutes, came out with a clip, and nudged the bumper part right back into place looking right as rain. I knew this was a potentially minor fix, but wanted to be sure and they had me out of there in less than 10 minutes. They have also done much more substantial work when previously required. Just a terrific experience and Jake, the fellow at the front desk whose name escapes me, and the whole experience, today and over the years with this company has been terrific. I've been to several body shops in the area over the years, but thus by far has been the best experience I have ever had. Allen Tombank went out of his way to reassure me and help me through a difficult process Especially when I was having trouble with the personal responsible for the accident insurance company. I got regular updates three times a week, and I knew my car was in capable hands and at least I didn't have to worry about that part of a bad collision. I got my car back looking better than it did before the accident. It came back with everything repaired, clean, waxed and vacuumed. Whenever you are in an accident you feel helpless and worry about everything, especially after a serious one. I had a minor ding and broken molding in the back of my 2018 Honda CRV. Initially I called my dealer and they referred me to a body shop for the repairs. However, we had an excellent experience with Caliber (formerly H&V) a few years back so called them instead. They got my car in right away for an estimate. In fact they gave me two estimates for different repair options. We selected a repair option and made an appointment. The car was ready as promised and the repair quality excellent as well. Rib and his folks really took care of us. They did some additional work at no charge including a nice wash and interior cleaning of the car. The entire staff at Caliber Collision was extremely helpful and courteous. My mother needed the passenger mirror replaced on her 2015 Subaru Forester, she had gotten her own replacement mirror and was fearing a long process and spending largely on the repair but the manager and technicians ensured that her car was fixed exceptionally fast and professionally within 20 minutes. By far the most helpful and courteous customer experience in as long as I can remember. Had to travel 40 minutes to the shop to drop off and pick up due to COVID19 and limited body shops available for my auto claim. Mandy was fantastic in communicating with me and helping with all the paperwork and Brendan could not have been transparent as he walked me through the necessary repairs. I had a fender bender in the parking lot and my insurance offered Caliber since I could get my rental in the same building. I received updates almost daily via text and received my car on the date that they said it would be ready. People are very professional and courteous, desk is super efficient. When I went to pick it up it was cleaned and detailed like I just purchased it from a dealer inside and out. They replaced my back hatch and even removed my decals from my old window and placed them back on perfectly. Well, where to start? Very VERY professional operation. Extremely high quality work. Lots of attention to detail. Great communication. They aren't the fastest turnaround on the planet, but speed is the enemy of accuracy and quality in almost every business endeavor; I feel like they handled my car like a fine automobile requiring kid gloves (it's a 2015 Camry, for goodness sake).
