I'm not a contributor to yelp. This is literally my first yelp review at 40 because I honestly don't know how this place is still in business. THREE revised estimates... 2.4,2.7,2.9k. Cash payments not accepted, CC payments over the phone not accepted. Original estimate provided by "he no longer works here". Please, for your own sake do not do business with this shop. I don't want to say they're predatory but I definitely feel like prey. Imagine going to a restaurant and the price of the entree changes drastically after ordering your meal. I understand what an estimate is but this team will lowball you into giving them your car and absolutely take advantage of you on the back end. They didn't actually repair my car...keep reading...When I stopped in to get an estimate things (the manager/estimator?) seemed chaotic. The manager/estimator was clearly stressed. The person at the front desk couldn't figure out the insurance; I had all the paperwork. I realize that this part can be somewhat difficult. However, they never got back to me. I checked off them never getting back to me given the vibes in the office. Why would I go here for my repair. Thankfully, my neighbor had recommended a second shop that ultimately did and excellent repair. Edit: I don't buy the "bot" that answered this review. read more

I am shocked and disappointed with the customer service I received from the Stuart location this time. I called to discuss an issue with my vehicle after picking up my car and was met with defensiveness again. I asked to speak to a manager and/or to get corporates phone number and I was put on hold. Then the service rep. got on the phone who again only wanted to be right, argue and not listen. I asked her for corporates phone number since I wasn't going to get a manager from this location. I could hear the receptionist in the background yelling tell her too GOOGLE IT and Hang UP!! So thats what the service rep did she told me to GOOGLE IT and hung up on me.... I was there because State Farm Insurance had them as a preferred service provider and before that when I used them was because Progressive Insurance has them as a preferred service provider. I am waiting to hear from their corporate office after Googling their number as suggested.... read more

Caliber Collision in Stuart was top notch professional throughout my entire repair process. My insurance company recommended them as a 5 star preferred vendor and they were spot on. From the check-in/estimate through repairs and return of vehicle, the entire process was explained well and communication was superb with my rep Joseph Lopez updating me multiple times throughout the process. The final product was amazing as I had repairs that required new parts as well as repainting of my door. There I was, driving from Houston Texas to Martin County, FLorida, and I'm involved in an accident on I-10 at Exit 87, Rayne, Louisiana. Not a place I'd want to stay while the car was being repaired. Car was barely driveable, but was able to buy some duct tape and rope and taped and tied all the loose pieces together. I called my insurance company, told them I'd finish the drive to Florida and they recommended Caliber Collision in Stuart. I called Caliber and they said to bring it in when I got to Stuart - I had a drive of about 850 miles ahead of me to get there. I dropped off my car the next afternoon and was told it would take about 30 days. Right on Schedule I picked my car, all shiny and sparkling and clean. I'm very pleased with the service and workmanship. Throughout the month Ray, the service adviser, kept me informed of progress on the automobile and was quick to answer any and all questions I had. read more

My vehicle has been paid by the insurance company but is missing a grille, which, is on back order and has missed the due date twice already. I have no confidence the the grille will arrive by Oct. 30 as Caliber Collision has stated. I called Caliber Collision to release my vehicle and they won't because the bumper is not on the vehicle. So, I requested the bumper be put on and I can drive the vehicle until the grille comes in (whenever that is). I will hold my deductible until all work is complete and inspected by me. The still refuse and have stopped communications. Liberty Mutual (I am with Safeco) seemed to be aghast at Caliber Collision decision but, is not doing anything either. Caliber Collision has a large presentence throughout the U.S. but very friendly with the community they try to serve. Poor quality work, not even close to accurate time estimates and lots of platitudes. A bot will respond to this with "please respond with your repair order and we will be happy to assist" what happens is nothing. I had damage when I picked up my truck I didn't have when I brought it in. Cracked tail light and paint scratches didn't have before. The damaged rim ? They put it on the passenger side and said that was previous dmg. This place is a scam and every should avoid it. This is in regards to the Stuart location, maybe the others are ok? read more

Caliber collision in Oregon performed beyond expectations! Sons car had been hit on drivers side by a hit and run driver causing ugly damage. I called USAA about repair and they suggested Caliber Collision as they had a great record and a total guarantee on their work. They repaired all the damage and buffed and cleaned up car so well that it looked like new. Totally recommend their service! read more

This is rust coming through a paint job that was done on my 2007 Nissan Truck to take care of oxidation on the roof, hood and front bumpers by CALIBER COLLISION LOCATED AT 757. S.E. MONTEREY ROAD, STUART FLORIDA . The manager made no attempt at even discussing how he planned on repairing this obvious faulty paint job. Consumer beware....it's no wonder the management staff seem to have such a high turnover rate. I took my car here because they were on Allstate's list to preferred repair shops. Do not take your car here! First, they were two weeks late on completing the work and when I got it back it was a mess; the door did not close correctly, the clearcoat was really bad, the back quarter panel didn't align with the bumper cover. I picked the car up and told them I'd return it for them to correct the issues. About two weeks later, brought the car back and noticed that the radio sound didn't work. I knew that the amp was inside the back right quarter panel and thought maybe the wires came unplugged when they were doing work. when I return to have the paint redone, door fixed so it would close properly, back door handle reinstalled so the door would open, back bumper cover and quarter panel aligned and amp wire checked, I found out that it would be a while because they no longer had a painter. Let's think about this...an Allstate recommended repair center without a painter? It took about 2 weeks for the car to be done again and I asked the service person 3 times to check the amp. When I went to pick the car up, it was a mess with several areas of overspray on the trim. I spoke with the Manager Keith who could care less. I figure I'd just clean the overspay off myself and take the car. When I got it home, found dampness in the trunk, water tested and found water dripping onto the amp. When the reapired the quarter panel they broke one of the seams near the trunk that caused the leak. Took it back a third time and they finally fixed the panel and had to replace the amp. They never checked what I asked them to. This business should not be on Allstate's list of collision centers! I will also, copy this link and post on my Allstate claim so that they are aware that they shouldn't send customers to t his shop. I left my car to get an estimate and it was sent to my insurance company for approval. When I notified caliber that I was going to pick up my car and have someone do the repairs they contacted my insurance company and told them that the car was totaled. I feel that if I would have let them do the repairs that it would not have been totaled. I was very upset about what caliber did. read more

A quick review of my experience with them, this will be quicker, much quicker than it took for my repair. Insurance told me I had to use them, found out later this was a lie. You have the right to go anywhere to have a repair completed, an insurance company can not tell you where to go. But that is how I ended up here. Small fender crease from another driver (his insurance is paying for it), in the front quarter panel. Something everywhere else told me a couple of days to a week. I've had considerable more damage repaired in far shorter time then this has taken. My wife's whole front end, with frame straightening, took only a week at a competent repair shop. Dropped it off on Monday, told I would more than likely have it for the weekend if all parts were in stock. They arranged for the rental car and out the door I went. Thursday I call to check on the repair, I was told it was going into the paint booth on Friday, you'll have it back that afternoon. Never heard of such a short turn around after painting so I wasn't surprised that I had no truck Friday afternoon, but also no communication. I went by around 4:30pm to get something out of the truck for the weekend, the truck was sitting in the back lot (lot unlocked), keys in it, unlocked. (not happy about this) I was told it would be painted over the weekend. Did a drive-by on Sunday after lunch, truck sitting in the lot still in primer. Monday I call, I was told going into paint booth that day, back in a couple of days. Wednesday I call, not ready, the truck is going into the booth that day. Thursday I speak with someone that tells me the truck will be ready on Friday afternoon we forgot to paint the fender flare and other parts (end of week 2). Friday morning I go into the shop, speak with the manager. I was told they were having difficulties matching the paint on a 2-year-old one color truck, they believe they got it and I will have it back this afternoon. There were other excuses like we had help leave and are shorthanded, we are busy, and a few others. I call @ 1pm, the manager is writing something up he'll call me back. I call at 3, the manager is with a customer and will call back. Call @ 4:30 he is with a customer, guess what, he'll call right back. 5:30, now beer 30 no call, shop is closed. Monday morning, (beginning of week 3) I go back to the shop @ 7:30am, manager apologizes for not calling but tells me he had to leave early on Friday. But wait I thought you were with customers when I called (another lie). Truck isn't ready they forgot to paint the molding and extra parts, still having issues color matching Wednesday / Thursday I'll have the truck back. Wednesday I go in there I want eyes on my truck. It's in the back and I can't go back there for insurance reasons, there was an issue with the paint they are going to try to buff it out or something. Thursday Morning I call it will be ready this afternoon something in QA they didn't like and they are fixing it, also it needs to be detailed. I call after lunch, it should be ready around 4pm. Truck is done. It rolls out into the light, there are 2 what looks like paint bubbles that popped, there are some swirl marks, still some cleanup to be done, front bumper isn't even, the truck wasn't detailed and the inside smells like bondo and paint thinner. Top it all off a screw in my tire. I left with my truck, writing this up to a bad experience and will spread the word never to do business with Caliber Collision. The only part of the whole process that was seamless was the rental car. They picked me up and I left the car there at the repair shop. I know after bodywork/repairs there will be slight issues, it will never be like it was from the factory. I understand that but this was a nightmare If you read their reviews, what I experienced seems to be a common issue with this shop. read more

I had minor damage to the front side of my brand new car. I got three estimates and Caliber Collision gave me the most reasonable estimate. Everyone at the shop was friendly and courteous. Caliber kept me posted on the status of repairs and finished the job when promised. The paint on my car was matched perfectly, and it looks brand new again. They discovered one of the things on the estimate wasn't needed, and removed that from the bill when I picked up the car. Caliber is honest and trustworthy. My car must be some sort of magnet because within a matter of months it has been hit twice. That's the bad news - the good news is that I was fortunate to have found Caliber Collision in Stuart, Fl. They worked magic. I am amazed with the fantastic job they did on my car. It looks like it was never hit. They kept me up to date on the progress by text, and when I went to pick it up, the car was totally detailed on the inside as well. I am not affiliated in any way with Caliber. Worst customer service I have every seen in my life and I am an old man. Vehicle was quoted to be ready by Friday and after I called at 4pm was told it would be ready by Monday. Received a call at 4pm Monday stating it would be ready Tuesday. I called at 4 pm Tuesday and was told it would be ready Wednesday, you guessed it not ready Wednesday after I went to pick it up.
