It was noticed that the door alignment was off due to the passenger door had a new skin put on it to correct the body damage as a result of the incident. Chris the owner had his mechanic take the car in an attempt to rectify the situation. 10 minutes later the car was returned with an adjustment being made after a week it was noticed that there was possible movement . A call to chris led to an appointment being made 2 weeks hence at 11:00 am where the situation would be addressed and a check for $100.00 would be issued to cover the additional detailers fee of 4 weeks prior at approx 10;00 am on the 16th of april a message was received that the mechanic who was suppose to readjust the door had called out sick. with that I showed up at 11;00 am to pick up the check that had taken approx 3 weeks to issue due to the accountant not being in attendance. I then told Chris the I would not be returning the vehicle for any adjustments or claims about their Lifetime warranty on repairs. My advice to who may read this. all you will get from Tilton Is someone with empty promises and excuses.I am 84 years old and have been around the Block. and in order to avoid any additional Stress I have decide to walk and to not deal with nefarious merchants who most likely had their employees post reviews.

However, I was…read moreextremely fortunate to come across Jack's Body Shop in Toms River, New Jersey, to do the repair. The quality of the work performed at Jack's was superb, My vehicle was completed and returned to me ahead of schedule, and in perfect condition. It was spotless, inside and out. Good customer service is a key factor during these stressful situations. I was fortunate to have Kevin Wickham assigned as the estimator, for the work that was needed on my vehicle. Kevin made for a truly great experience. He provided superior customer service in a professional and courteous manner, and kept me apprised of the status of the repair, all through the process. Kudos to Kevin; he is definitely an asset to your business. I will certainly recommend Kevin and Jack's Body Shop to anyone needing your services.

My experience with Jack's was less than stellar. My 2025 Tesla sat at their shop for MANY weeks,…read morewith no forward motion, and NO updates, unless I called them. They blame Tesla supply chain issues. Ok, maybe. Called on the day my car was supposed to be ready, and was literally told my car is being detailed at the moment, and would be good to go, right on time. Swell. I'm an airline pilot and I could not make their early closing time, as it was a Friday, and they close early. Ok, fine. That's on me, not them. The problem arose when I paid for the balance owed over the phone with a credit card, and made arrangements for them to lock the vehicle outside in the lot. I didn't need the specific key they had, as Teslas can be completely operated by the Tesla App. I arrived, the car is indeed parked outside, left completely unlocked with the original Tesla keycard sitting on top of my final bill, for anyone in the world to walk by and see, or worse, steal. Absolutely nothing would have prevented it. Nothing. So whatever, it wasn't stolen, no biggie...I guess. It gets worse. Much worse. So so when I arrive to pick up my car, there was a Tesla identical to mine that was sitting a far away is off and didn't move the entire time. I was evaluating the condition of my vehicle. Turned out this gentleman identified himself as one of the managers there, and was I happy with the results. I was not, and showed him exactly why I was not. He agreed the car was in horrific shape for customer delivery, and to his credit offered the sun and the moon to make it right. I was too heated then to really come to any terms. Back to the car......The vehicle was in horrific condition. There was body filler (I'm guessing) dust everywhere inside the car outside the car on the windows on the inside on the windows on the outside. It should be noted my cars are kept pristine, garaged, always. I dropped it off pristine, minus the body damage. To add insult to injury, I have a 4K dashcam installed in that vehicle that records through 4 different cameras, audio and visually. Some employee decided to remove the interior camera from my windshield resulting to damage to my LEGALLY installed front window tint. They also unplugged the other cameras, sadly for them, not before I have beautiful 4K footage of the offending event. What they didn't realize is that was no ordinary dashcam. This dashcams live streams to the "cloud". It's designed so that anyone whoever damages your car couldn't just throw away the evidence. It works great. The manager was informed and shown EVERYTHING I claim here. I have lots of photos and videos, which is why this manager approached me in the first place watching me take all of them before I moved the car.So that's plenty enough said. Let me just say in summation that I've been contacted since by many "different" managers....so they have offered heaven and earth over the phone and Facebook messenger. Let me be crystal clear on that. I however that the lack of integrity, the outright lies told to me by employees, precludes me from ever returning there. Maybe if their ONE so-called "Tesla Expert" (he's not) had been the offender that lied to me personally. That told me car was being detailed. Might even be I have video of such expert removing dashcam cameras and ruining a $500 piece of tint film. Never before. Most certainly never again. Integrity is a rare thing nowadays, professing it means nothing.

That evening when I reported it to my insurance company they tried to send me to a national body shop chain known for working cheap but doing work that is poor and sometimes dangerous. Some years ago I had work done by AutoTech Collision on Delsea Drive and they did an excellent job so I insisted on taking my Telluride there. Dean Sr. and his sons not only did a great job on my car, they helped me understand how insurance companies work today. Trust me, if your car has been damaged, that is critical to know. AutoTech either handled all that stuff or coached me so I made no mistakes. I got my car back last week and it looks and drives just like it was before the accident. Actually, maybe a little better because I think AutoTech detailed the whole car, not just the RF. The steering wheel is straight, the car tracks properly, it looks new and, most importantly in today's world, all the complex electronics work. I highly recommend Autotech Collision.

This review is not regarding quality of work, but more regarding estimates. I had an incident with…read morea new vehicle. I found Autotech decided to give them a call given that their reviews were outstanding. During the call I explained what had happened and one of the first things that came out of their mouth was "if you are looking for cheap...". Obviously I wanted the a job done the right way and for the vehicle to look new again so still entertained their services. I explained I planned to pay out of pocket as I thought it wouldn't be out of this world even for decent dent with scratched along the front passenger door. I went through the process of shooting the pictures and submitting them through their platform. I get a call back from them and when they said they needed to replace the whole door, my jaw dropped. The door was fully operational, window came up and down, the sensor for the bling spot came on timely, mirror was intact, the speaker working and spacing between the front panel and the door was not to large nor small. The dent was at the bottom of the door and half of the damage was a part made out of plastic at the bottom of the door. The gentleman that called me said I was going to "spend well beyond $5,000, more like $8,000 or $9,000 and probably $10,000". My heart dropped and as the conversation previous about it not being cheap put me in doubt about out-of-pocket I engaged the insurance even before getting the "guestimate" of anywhere between $8,000 to $10,000. My insurance quoted the work at $1,500 which usually insurances low ball, but usually there wouldn't be a difference of $8,500 as a max. I asked what were the next steps to get an official quote since they only had seen pictures and thought they needed to see it in-person. He said I don't give official quotes. You bring it in we disassemble and let the insurance know what the real cost is. I would be out of a car for potentially several months and would use all my rental allowance and more. As I usually like to keep vendors/contractors honest I always go for several other quotes. To find 2 other places with great reviews and word from a friend who put his more than $100k car in the hands of a specific shop that was incredibly lower than Autotech. I also ran the pictures through several AI models who yielded results with cost very similar to the 2 other shops who quoted me. The one the AI models said that anything above $5,000 should be challenged and that even with a door replacement it should be remotely close to $8,000. So the 1 start review is for not seeing the car personally to do a better assessment rather than solely pictures, for not offering an actual quote at the best of their abilities as other shops who always give the disclaimer "it may be more once we formally look into it" but at least a ballpark that makes sense. Also, the first appointment to leave the car was weeks after. In the end I decided to go with a shop that was certified for the make and model of my car and also had a relationship with the dealership I bought my car from. They took my car in the same day I brought it to be assessed. I only used 3 weeks of my rental allowance and costed $4,000 for the full repair. But the best of all, nobody who knew I had an accident but had not seen the car could pinpoint where the car was damaged. It is virtually impossible to identify the damaged areas. The job was a door skin replacement, paint and blend aside from other minor details. No component inside the door was damaged... lastly, the maintenance light turned on a few days before the accident, this other shop took the car to the dealership I bought the car from and had it serviced for me before I picked it up. My point, I don't doubt Autotech earned their reviews but the estimate process and pricing based on word of mouth will always be suspicious to me. ALWAYS engage other shops for comparison, ask for a written estimate and go for reasonably priced high quality repairs. I always go for high quality, but there's a difference between the cost of high quality and simply exaggerated.
