2025 graduation ceremony Fowler events center
    Leilani M.

Attending a graduation ceremony at the Fowler events center. Closest entrance will be from 91fwy exit Adams st. Head north & left on Lancer Lane. Parking structure to the left of entrance. Ask attendants which areas are reserved for handicap will need to show placard, fills up fast. Golf cart parking attendants available to escort elderly guests to front door. Elevator/escalators and stairs required for upper level seating. Wheelchair & walkers on ground level. Only CBU approved leis can be worn during the ceremony. Pop up tents for Lei and flower sales at main entrance. $35 for kukui nut leis, $50 for orchid leis. Orchids are only allowed to be worn if pre purchased before graduation day. A handful were available at the tables outside the main entrance but sold out before the ceremony started. Tap to pay. Sash, tassel & diploma frame bundles are available for purchase at the campus store. Campus restaurants close earlier on graduation day call to check times. Campus staff were helpful and informative. Well organized with the herds of families and friends gathering to take part in the ceremonies of loved ones. Beautiful facilities, well organized to celebrate all the graduates.

I was a student at California Baptist University for over 10 years and just five classes away from graduating. Despite that, I've experienced some of the worst treatment and support, particularly as a disabled Latina student. When I tried to return and finish my degree, I followed CBU's instructions to raise my GPA at a community college (which I've done -- I now have a 3.5). I reached out for help about readmission, GPA calculations, and transfer credit questions, but instead of support, I was ignored, misinformed, and eventually blocked from contacting the school altogether. I reached out to: * Dr. Steve Neilsen, who repeatedly dismissed my concerns and eventually issued a threat of legal action simply for asking about re-entry * Grace Brown, who never followed up on academic support or guidance * attempts to meet with leadership Multiple departments that sent me in circles or failed to respond at all * Left voicemails, emails -- all without resolution The final response? I received a "cease and desist" letter from CBU's legal counsel, Adam Burton, just for inquiring about how to return and finish my last five classes. This, after years of tuition paid and receiving disability services on campus. Instead of grace, I was met with threats. This is not the Christ-centered support they promote. If you're a student with a disability or come from a marginalized background, do not expect this university to stand by you when things get hard. Expect to be pushed out quietly -- no matter how close you are to the finish line.

The campus is gorgeous and remains to the Baptist faith. I will highly recommend this campus to any prospective student.

They take your money and give you a horrible education in return. The people there suck and so does the staff. You will regret going there.

Although I was not a presenter, I saw that there were presenters from China, Korea, India, many African countries, Saudi Arabia, and Dubai. The food and snacks of course were wonderful and the host (president Dr. Raj Singh) is one of the most gracious people you'll ever meet. He made sure everybody had whatever they needed during the presentation and made sure every's needs were taken care of. Luckily I was not from out of town but I know he help arrange some great deals on hotels for all the presenters and I think helped arrange entertainment for them too. If you have a paper or work you'd like to present, send it in to the University. I know they hosts conferences on many different topics. If you're work is accepted then be prepared to have a great time presenting and making friends with colleagues from around the world!

Honestly, please believe all the one star reviews and whoever is responding to these one star…read morereviews you can see what kind of person is responding by gaslighting and trying to discredit their experience with this school. Please please do your research and get as much information as you can before signing away . I went to the school last year. I should've really done my research before getting myself in involved with this school. First of all everybody in that office is very rude and unprofessional. They were very unhelpful, inconsistent and hard to get a hold of when it came to something that YOU needed. Oh but when they need something from you, they will harass YOU. And by that I mean, they will call and text you at all hours of the day and be rude and gaslight you. I had to block a Jasmine Rodriguez, because after I responded to her, and I had clearly told her that I didn't want to sign a certain paper that was not mandatory for me to sign due to not receiving the service that she was trying to have me sign. She kept texting me, Emailing me, gaslighting me and questioning every answer that I had for her. After not answering her for ONE DAY, she went and harassed my family. I will say this though, my on campus teacher was the sweetest, kindest and most amazing teacher. I just hope in order for them to just do somewhat better, they need to either retrain their staff is in that riverside campus office or get people who actually like to do their job. You will notice that when you call the school they'll be very kind to you until you're already a student. They'll give you the biggest attitude and treat you like you're an annoyance. And I'm not just speaking for myself, but all of my colleagues and previous students that I met during my work experience had horrible experiences with this campus so I know for a fact, that I'm not the problem. Also, please look up how much money you would make starting off in these careers because again I didn't do my research and that is my fault. You don't make a lot of money and there's not a lot of jobs available out there. And yes, I'm not gonna give my actual name as I'm not trying to have that school harassed me again, I will only state that I graduated with a summa cum laude. And if you're already a student here, my only advice is to keep all the receipts and paperwork that you get because they will try to gaslight you.

It's a warm, welcoming environment where the staff genuinely cares about each child. The teachers and staff are very attentive to our kids' individual needs and do a great job keeping us informed about how they're doing day to day. One moment that really stands out to me is seeing my son hug both his teacher and the director every morning at drop-off. I never would have done that as a kid, and to me, it says everything about how safe, comfortable, and happy he feels there. Our children feel secure and supported, and it shows in both their confidence and their learning. As soon as our youngest is old enough, we plan to have all four of our children enrolled here. My wife and I couldn't be happier with the environment or the results--our kids are already reading and doing math at a more advanced level than many of their peers. We're incredibly grateful to be part of this school community.

My daughter is naturally shy and wasn't talking much but after just a few weeks, her speech accelerated and can tell that her confidence, motor and social skills were developing! All of the teachers and admin made her feel so comfortable and gave my mama heart peace of mind that she is well taken cared of. I'm very grateful for her teachers especially Miss Elizabeth who went above and beyond to care for her as she got acclimated. I really appreciated the updates of my daughter's progress and I even credit her for potty training my lil one!! Miss Tyra is absolutely amazing as well and was ready to comfort my lil one during the hard mornings. I researched several schools and not only is RIVMA competitive in tuition, but it has better operating hours, a proven curriculum that supports all of the kid's learning modalities, it's kept clean and has a great security process for pickup and drop off with their app. The owner, Dr. Chandrapala genuinely cares for the school, teachers and kids. My nephews went to this school (one going to college now) and my neighbor's kid also went here. All great kids and results of the school's strong foundation. The school not only fosters a love for learning, but also respect and good manners! I still don't know how they get all the toddlers to sit nicely and take naps ! Bottomline, I HIGHLY recommend this school! It's an investment to our kid's foundation and future and one of my best decisions as a mom
