OMG, was I wrong!! The campus is breathtakingly beautiful, reminiscent of California Lutheran University, a place that I absolutely adore. The stunning architecture, picturesque gardens, and majestic trees create a serene ambiance. The friendly and helpful individuals strolling around campus, the students socializing, engaging, and beaming with joy, all contribute to a campus culture that resonates deeply with our family values. Having had the privilege of traveling back and fourth to CLU for the past 11 years watching CM achieve his Bachelor's and a Master's, and AM having earned his BA with a masters in cyber security and is about to achive a second Master's degree, the prospect of looking for a new university for them to pursue a PhD is daunting; because we are all involved so deeply at Cal Lutheran. However, the possibility of embracing CBU as new academic home for the next five years is undeniably exhilarating. OMG, this is truly an electrifying prospect!!

Although I was not a presenter, I saw that there were presenters from China, Korea, India, many African countries, Saudi Arabia, and Dubai. The food and snacks of course were wonderful and the host (president Dr. Raj Singh) is one of the most gracious people you'll ever meet. He made sure everybody had whatever they needed during the presentation and made sure every's needs were taken care of. Luckily I was not from out of town but I know he help arrange some great deals on hotels for all the presenters and I think helped arrange entertainment for them too. If you have a paper or work you'd like to present, send it in to the University. I know they hosts conferences on many different topics. If you're work is accepted then be prepared to have a great time presenting and making friends with colleagues from around the world!

This school is marketed as one of the "best," but that couldn't be further from the truth. From the lack of professionalism to the complete disregard for students' time and money, Stanbridge has proven to be nothing short of a scam. My wife was scammed out of thousands of dollars in tuition, and when she submitted an appeal for a class she barely missed passing--by just 0.5 of a grade--they denied it without consideration. No real explanation, no empathy, just a cold "no." The appeal process is a joke. The people in charge clearly don't care about students or the money they're investing into this program. Appeals aren't taken seriously at all, and there's no transparency in how decisions are made. The office staff? Absolutely no help. Every time she reached out for assistance, it was either a vague response or being passed around from one unhelpful person to the next. The professors are no better--some of them literally hand out test answers and then still find ways to penalize students unfairly. They even dock students on attendance after telling them they could leave. How is that even remotely fair? The financial aid office is another nightmare. They're quick to take your money but completely useless when you need actual help. My wife was given instructions on how to get assistance, but the help offered was generic, dismissive, and ultimately pointless. Stanbridge University paints itself as a top-tier institution, but behind that façade is a money-hungry operation with little to no regard for student success or well-being. If you're considering this school, think twice. You're not just risking your education--you're risking your time, mental health, and a serious amount of money.

"I had good grades, but I turned in some work late and got a fail" really, take some responsibility. Sure, I can understand that its overwhelming at times, and downright frustrating to not get answers right when we want them. But you have to understand the scope of this type of institution. Every year its the same, predictable even. Yet most complaints are just gripes about how their experience was "tough" because nobody helped them personally, welcome to the real world. You look out for yourself. You will have to be the squeaky wheel to get the grease. Ask lots of questions and don't be afraid to rattle some cages. Afterall the people who work at RCC are just people, forget attitudes and personal feelings towards the staff. Remember you're there for a personal goal and that should be your focus. If one counselor is not helpful go to another one. If you don't like the way your degree is shaping out, change it. Don't be a complainer who does nothing about it. RCC is great, really people don't hesitate to ask your professors questions, they are for the most part really down to earth people trying to make a difference. The teachers and staff are very attentive to our kids' individual needs and do a great job keeping us informed about how they're doing day to day. One moment that really stands out to me is seeing my son hug both his teacher and the director every morning at drop-off. I never would have done that as a kid, and to me, it says everything about how safe, comfortable, and happy he feels there. Our children feel secure and supported, and it shows in both their confidence and their learning. As soon as our youngest is old enough, we plan to have all four of our children enrolled here. My wife and I couldn't be happier with the environment or the results--our kids are already reading and doing math at a more advanced level than many of their peers.
