Don't know if this is a coincidence, but I'd take the reviews with a grain of salt. What I will say is that your design dreams don't happen overnight as one millennial couple on this page seem to think. Our condo's transformation took several months, but we understood and accepted that and were prepared for it. There are always a few hiccups in life - we had them, and so what? Everything worked out. The result was totally worth the wait and I'd do it again! Nimrah, our designer was absolutely wonderful. We had a tight budget. She understood our aesthetic, gave us great feedback and beautiful furnishings. We love our wallpaper, sectional, rug and light fixtures. Our bedrooms are exactly what we wanted and within our budget. We loved having Nimrah and her vendors around. Marie and her installers were wonderful! I can't recommend LUX DESIGN enough. The service, design, feedback, the quality of their furnishings are excellent. I only wish we could have done the kitchen and bathrooms too, but if that becomes a reality, we will go with LUX and Nimrah....

You're actually saving A LOT of money and especially time when it comes to having the pros like those at LUX Design managing a design project. I couldn't have done it without Nazneen and Negar. Both took such good care of me like I'm a multi-million dollar client (trust me, I'm far from it. I'm just a guy who's excited about his first home!) Negar was the Lead Design and oversaw the entire project with me - even as she was becoming a new mom - no ask was too big or small, and even though I was a very particular and fuzzy client, she never made me feel that way. I came across Codona Flooring while searching for floor suppliers and decided to give it a try. I…read moredid not know I needed an appointment but once I got inside Milos said it was fine and allowed me to look around. He also gave some advice which I appreciated. I took pictures of the two floors and said I'll let them know. From this point on for some reason, I can no longer reach Milos but only Oliver, which to be honest I didn't care so much so long as we could get the work done. At first it was alright, we had a few text exchanges and decided to move on with ordering some flooring from them and asking them to do the installation. Then it went downhill from there as Oliver was not very responsive to my messages and took him a while to give me the WSIB and Liability Insurance. Anyhow we managed to get through. Then came the day(s) of installation. Oliver first told me he would bring 3~4 guys and finish the job in a day, but he showed up later (late too) with only one more guy and the job did not finish in that day. Then about one or two weeks later he finally was able to come and finish the job. Overall it was good and I appreciated his and his coworkers' hardwork, but the smaller details were certainly lacking. As seen in the uploaded photos the little gaps between the floor planks and between the floor and window frame Oliver never came and fixed; there was also a few other places that the baseboards were missing. The job was "done" in about March, now it is almost June. It was a misfortune that throughout April I caught COVID, and Oliver ( and his girlfriend) was not feeling well. I've got to be honest here and say that it felt as if Oliver did not want to come anymore, that he was making up excuses, because I was always the one making calls and asking him to schedule, only once did he call me and told me his availability on certain days. Finally we decided on a date but he said he did not bring his material so he will not show up. To me that is just unprofessional that you just don't show up, I'd rather you show up late because at that point I've pretty much expected him to show up late anyway. Then later we booked for another date and he just never showed up at all. Very unprofessional and unresponsive. Another confession though, I certainly should not have paid the full amount, knowing that there were problems he needed to fix. But aside from this issue it conveys to me the unprofessionalism and lack of workmanship / responsibility in Oliver. Codona Flooring may or may not be a good floor installer and supplier based on Google Reviews (4.9 Stars, wow, I wish I had that kind of service), but I could certainly say that Oliver did not match up to this 5 star standard. Oliver, if you are reading this, I want to let you know that you win, that you've successfully tired me out and I no longer wish to deal with you and your delays. To gents and ladies if you were to use Codona Flooring, from my POV I suggest finding Milos or somebody else in Codona Flooring (to avoid Oliver), or find a different contractor. The floor collection was nice, but not the service. Edit: Got a call from Oliver on Saturday May 22nd who told me he could come by that day. Came on Sunday instead due to the thunderstorm and power outage. and he fixed the floor and covered the gaps for me. Thank you for coming by and finishing up the job.

Do yourself a favor and don't buy anything from Sherwood Forest Products. They have the worst…read morequality of standards and the rudest customer service. We bought 85 boxes and opened around 25-30 boxes for initial installation. Our contractor found out two major problems with their hardwood floors: 1. The width of two sides of some board are not equivalent 2. The grove of some boards are bulging. Two pieces of boards cannot connect firmly and smoothly. We also noticed that there are so many black gaps between the floors when we put them together. It literally took us a week to report the problem and Sherwood finally sent someone over this morning. I did not anticipate that it was such a nightmare dealing with the representative. She did not greet me or look at me in the eyes. She completely ignored me and asked questions through a middle man who is an installer from Flooring Liquidator. She asked the installer if my heater had been on for the whole winter. I don't understand why she asked this kind of question to a visitor, not me. Moreover, she took a bunch of photos of my home without any explanation or asking for my permission, the plywood, moisturizer, thermostat and etc. she was not willing to take pictures of any defective products that we identified in our home. We even suggested to randomly open a new box and it turned out there were at least three pieces defective boards out of the 17 total boards in the box which far exceed the 5% defective rate. It turns out they have at least 18% defects in each box. So be prepared to buy a lot more if you plan to use their products. I haven't heard from them any solution or apology. All they were saying is it is very normal for hardwood floors to have this kind of problem. I was genuinely speechless.

They took the time to really get to know our vision, and our aesthetic, before suggesting any designs. The virtual interaction process (remember, this was in the midst of Covid-19 pandemic lockdowns) was thorough and seamless. Our designer - Sanaz - provided us with a range of mood and concept boards to consider. Once we chose the concept we liked, Stylishomes facilitated the ordering of furniture and deliveries. And, when we encountered some issues with one supplier's quality the Stylishome team managed the entire return/refund process on our behalf. It was seamless and stress-free. Very impressive. The icing on the cake was their recommendation of a general contractor who could help us with some kitchen and major lighting renovations. It was clear that Sanaz and Michelle understood our "vibe" and they recommended the perfect contractor for us. The Stylishome team were much more than just a design partner. They were an enc-to-end solutions provider and supporter throughout the process. We can't recommend them highly enough.
