Called for a tow about 5:40 pm. No response until I called again. They then gave me an eta of 20 min. About 8:50 pm, tow truck driver called to say they were in the city I was to be towed from but they had to drop off a car an hour away and then return. It's now 10 pm and still waiting. As for the people answering the phone- idiots so callous and incompetently rude- if you have questions heaven forbid-all male secretaries for this company negative-0 stars. I could give California Coach Towing a zero I would. See below for my experience. Their manager George Hanna is rude and does not understand customer service. When I told him I thought his service was rude and that I intended to share my experience on social media he told me "go ahead" it doesn't matter and hung up. I hope you never have to rely on this company in an emergency. On June 3. I took an alternate route home leaving Monterey Park around 4:15 for Chino Hills. My usual sped is at least 75 mph in the car pool lane. I had already moved to the far right lane to exit when my car made the undeniable rumble and weave of a blow out. Thankfully, I was able to safely navigate to the shoulder. As I examined my tire, I saw what was a significant puncture to the rubber sidewall of my rear driver tire. YIKES Note: this was during California rush hour commute on one of the busiest Southern California freeways. I feel blessed that it was not yet my time. As I was safely on the shoulder I weighed my options and notified my husband of my circumstances and retrieved my AAA card. This was the second flat I'd experienced in the past two weeks so I knew there was no flat and that a tow would be necessary. Within minutes two Metro vehicles pull to the shoulder and alert me to seek assistance and then took off; this was very thoughtful, okay thanks. Within minutes a flatbed tow truck from California Coach Towing pulls up behind me, before I had even called AAA and I thought, again someone has my back. I was wrong. The tow driver, number 105 and I consulted and he gave me info to provided to AAA to expedite the tow. He agreed to wait for the order from his dispatch as he was on his way to be off duty. This was around 5:30. Instead the rockstar "not" dispatcher at California Coach Towing called Driver 105 back to the yard and texted me a new tow would be sent. It was not my preference because someone was already there but they would not permit the job. I thanked Driver 105 for his concern and willingness to wait. 40 minutes later still no tow truck. I call California Coach Towing and dispatch informed me they cancelled tow and I had to call AAA to place a new order. I then called AAA for the second time that evening. Jason, operator L142 heard my concern and agreed to stay on the phone with me until the tow truck driver arrived. He was online with me for another hour or more. Thank you Jason for offering me calm during a very stormy couple hours. During the delay I asked Jason if I could find someone on my own would AAA reimburse me. That is where Alex of AJs Towing in Chino joins the story. He agreed he could rescue me and could arrive in 30 minutes or so. Twenty minutes later Pro Towing, Kevin, showed up, this was the second dispatch from AAA; California Coach Towing ignored AAA too. I was taking the tow that was there and determined I would connect with AJs to thank them and arrange to drop off a courtesy payment. AJs Towing showed up ten minutes later. Even though I was already gone Alex texted to make sure I was okay. I had already decided to do something nice, but now it was happening. By the way California Coach Towing never responded. I did respond to the manager's text inquiry inquiry confirming my order and explained all this; they still have not responded. I know the towing industry. I worked at a towing yard/office. So I know what to expect and I also understand that things happen. My biggest issue with this company is the customer service, it is non existent here. Receptionist at this place needs to learn how to do her job and customer service etiquette. I ended up waiting well over 2 hours for a tow. Within that time I got no call or message on status or ETA. I finally called California Coach after it was just too long. Receptionist had me on hold for over 20 minutes and then had the nerve to hang up. It was not until I called to complain about having to wait till almost midnight along with my young daughter that I got that text to track the driver. Like I said I have worked for a towing company contracted with AAA. Customer service is non existent here. read more

This company is a total joke! We called AAA at 6:35pm and they said that the Tow Truck from this company will be at our location no later than 7:30pm. Then we get a text notification at 7:30pm that they are going to be at our location at 7:40pm. We waited and waited...then we get a call that they were going to be an additional 20 minutes. By 8:05pm we get a call letting us know that they are 5 minutes from our location. By 8:20pm we had to call them and the person on the other line said that tow guy is there and sitting on the corner of Brea and Washington. We specifically said that we were in the train station. By this time it was 8:25 and a PRIuS shows up! Now how the hell is that going to tow a truck! read more

On June 23, this company was dispatched by AAA to tow my car to a Honda Dealership at City of Industry for repair. The tow truck arrived on time. During COVID I've seen too many businesses drop their focus on customer service. This was not my case with Chris. This company was contracted by AAA for roadside assistance. We were given a 1 hour wait time which was fine we expected to wait. After the hour passed the driver called me which I missed the call but I called back less than a minute after and he didn't answer . Dispatch called and I called them back they said the driver cancelled the request because there was nobody there. HE NEVER SHOWED UP. I had to call AAA again to request another tow which also ended very badly. This company needs to reassess how they operate. read more

The tech Ramy replaced my battery and then called me stupid for wanting to call his dispatch myself to pay over the phone. His dispatch apologized and said she would call AAA to join the call and I could feel safer paying. Meanwhile the tech took the battery out of the car before waiting for his dispatch to contact AAA leaving me further stranded and feeling unsafe. That's the AAA standard apparently. My uncle was stuck on the side of the freeway scared because he broke down, the area he broke down is where cars like to accelerate and it was frightening but I called AAA the tow truck was there within 10 minutes!!! I had to give a star to this company in order to write a comment but I wouldn't even give them that. They are so unprofessional. I needed a tow on July 5th I called AAA around 9 o'clock and so I thought California Coach Towing would be reliable but was I SO WRONG!!! I call dispatch around 11:20pm and was told that they had other calls before me and I had to just wait my turn no time frame was given to me at all. I waited till 12:45 just to have their tow guy show up and tell me to call tomorrow for a tow (???) Really, I could believe he was telling me that after I waited so long for him to show up then he told me he was not allowed to tow my car because it was in the driveway(???) oh and it gets better he told me he couldn't push or touch the car because it was in our property(????) YES I KNOW he was full of it!!! He didn't want to tow my car he got in the tow truck call his dispatch and said we were bing rude and confrontational and his life was in danger!!! I call dispatch to be told I had to have my car in the street ready for him to tow and they had other important calls, For me to call AAA to set up another tow when I ask WHY? The dispatch Rudely told me that it wasn't there job to tow a car from the driveway this company customer service is a JOKE they are Rude and Unprofessional SO PLEASE SAVE TIME DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.... My car had broken down in the middle of the night and had to get a tow. I was able to get a tow truck within 30 minutes but the tow truck driver was very rude and was very unprofessional. I had to also get a ride with the vehicle which they offered to let me sit in the tow truck to the destination but the tow truck driver was not letting me sit in the truck due to COVID. It would be understandable if the driver were to be wearing their mask but they weren't at all. As I had called they had offered a Uber or Lyft to take me there. As I was on the phone the tow truck driver just left unannounced and didn't even say that he was going to have to leave. Never had I ever had a tow truck driver like this one in my life and would not want to have this kind of service again read more

Called AAA and sent this horrible company. They jumped start the battery but did not work and left our vehicle head on the sidewalk and the body on the street not put back on our driveway till call AAA complaint for safety reasons. The next day called to tow we agreed $240 because AAA not cover and promised 2 hours to come. The driver did not show up after 2 hours but called us on the way 15-20 minutes but NO SHOW. Called again and dispatcher was waiting for driver to be clear about 1 hour but NO SHOW after 1 hour. Waiting about 4 hours and called , different dispatcher answered and said there no our name on the list. The dispatcher asked us to call AAA again. They played with us to call AAA so they can start it over. This experience is most horrible 2 days not able to tow our vehicle even we agreed to pay. We spent our time 2 days just to wait for this towing. We rated this company 0 star because 1 star is still good. read more

warning do not use them!!!!! i used them through aaa to get my car towed. guy got to me at like 6:45pm. in transit the dollie got a flat tire and we had to pull over, now its like 10pm at night cuzz it took him forever to hook up my car. they sent another tow company to assist him replace the tire. right when we were about to pull off, child my vehicle slipped off the dollie and fell off causing under carriage damage to my driver side front bumper and a big ass dent on the back door. now im pissed off and tired, asked my friend to come pick me up, it 10:30pm now . so i told the driver to call me when he drops off the car at the dealer. he called but sure forgot to mention he damaged my car. only found out when i went to the dealership to get my car. spoke to the tow company and they asked for pics which i sent and they agreed to fix the damages. they picked up my car and towed it to their autobody shop. the manager david is now stating that they only replaced my bumper and they are not fixing the big dent on my door. he said his driver said he didnt do it and their is touch up paint on it. now they dropped my car off still with the dent and all of a sudden the dent has touch up paint on it. thank god i have before pictures and videos to prove these jokers wrong. with this coronavirus i have all their damn time now to play this game. read more
