The bike shop has a small parking lot as well as street parking. when I arrive, I was helped right away. I brought my own brake pads and they fix all the brakes as well as a wire that was frayed. The staff is friendly and very helpful. They also sell bike gear, bikes and e-bikes. This is my spot for anything bike related. Once you get the speed and smoothness of turning down, you are fine. On the customer service side there is some to be desired. It's not the worst, but it's not great either. I have called Addmotor and I have chatted online with them several times. They are always quick and responsive and have answers, not always the right answers unfortunately. The last Trike I bought was advertised on their site to be in stock and would ship in a couple days. It was a good month before it shipped because they were waiting for inventory. I also purchased the accessories for the trike. Every contact was "a couple more weeks" I am 10 weeks out on the accessories now. They told me they are shipping today. That makes me feel like the backorder fell through the cracks. I asked for expedited shipping, they said they cannot expedite the shipping because it was already picked up by the carrier. I asked for a tracking number, they said they did not have it yet and it would be e-mailed to me in a couple hours. You can see how this now looks like a screw up and back peddling since that string of conversations sounds a lot like one lie after another. My company ships over 1000 packages a day, I am very aware that tracking numbers are assigned well before the carrier picks up. Moral of the story, good, quality products. Be prepared to sit back and wait though.

They said the middle gear on the front crank was a bit troublesome and to go back if I was having issues. I my bike for a quick test ride at a nearby park and the it wouldn't shift into the high gear (largest crank) on the front. I took it back and they trouble shooted some more and got it back working on all gear. They said the front derailleur spring is probably worn out. Most likely as the bike is from 1992. I will go back to them to install a new front derailleur if needed.

I brought in my daughter's bike to fix a chain and my son's strider bike to replace bearings…read more Everything felt good, local mom and pop, every seemed knowledgeable and friendly. I asked the employee if it made sense to perform any of the fixes (aka is it going to cost more to fix than buy a new bike) and he said likely. On the spot, he fixed my daughter's chain and said it would be $8.50, amazing. He then looked at my son's strider bike and said that the bearings would need to be replaced and that he would look for the part and call me when it was ready. He told me it would cost parts ($8-9 dollars / bearing) + labor. Given that he fixed my daughter's bike for less than $10, this sounded reasonable. This is partially my mistake, I should've asked him how much the labor was going to cost. I went home, got the call to pick everything up. I was shocked to be quoted $80ish dollars for the strider bike: ~$30ish for 3 bearings and $40ish for the labor. A brand new strider bike costs $80. It would have been nice to have been informed how much the work was going to cost. I ending up paying more to fix a old strider bike than it would have cost to buy a brand new one. Not the best experience.
