I own two Addmotor Trikes. The quality is very good and they are great for our campsites. Stability is not as bad as some reviews like to tell you. Once you get the speed and smoothness of turning down, you are fine. On the customer service side there is some to be desired. It's not the worst, but it's not great either. I have called Addmotor and I have chatted online with them several times. They are always quick and responsive and have answers, not always the right answers unfortunately. The last Trike I bought was advertised on their site to be in stock and would ship in a couple days. It was a good month before it shipped because they were waiting for inventory. I also purchased the accessories for the trike. Every contact was "a couple more weeks" I am 10 weeks out on the accessories now. They told me they are shipping today. That makes me feel like the backorder fell through the cracks. I asked for expedited shipping, they said they cannot expedite the shipping because it was already picked up by the carrier. I asked for a tracking number, they said they did not have it yet and it would be e-mailed to me in a couple hours. You can see how this now looks like a screw up and back peddling since that string of conversations sounds a lot like one lie after another. My company ships over 1000 packages a day, I am very aware that tracking numbers are assigned well before the carrier picks up. Moral of the story, good, quality products. Be prepared to sit back and wait though. read more

After doing much research on electric bikes I decided the M340 Trike was the model I wanted.(I'm handicapped and can't ride 2 wheel bikes anymore) When I arrived at their show room, I knew I was at the right place where I could try them all out before buying.Alan let me take several on test rides and answered all my many questions. Please do not buy from Addmotor. Their customer service is worse than bad. It is punishing. I have an addmotor I need to repair. I took it to a authorized addmotor repair dealer. Add motor will not ship parts to its authorized dealer. I supplied the dealer with my invoice from the factory so that dealer could receive the parts. I called support at addmotor and she said I could drive 100 miles and pickup the parts in el monte. She (customer support) would not let me talk to a supervisor. Addmotor is a scam to have you buy the bike and then leave you. They have been no support to me or to their aurthorized dealer in Canoga Park. Two week after I got the bike the kick stand broke. I called for new parts. I was willing to pay. They said they had no parts for that stand as they had changed the design. I got some on Amazon. Addmotor was no help at all. read more

I first Purchased the 310 CityTrike online at Addmotors website Its specs and price was better than competition. It arrives and was easy to assemble. I had a few annoying problems: Hand Break need Contant adjusting, had to shorten cable, Display freezes when battery is low or at +90 degrees, Seat till adjustment need constant adjustment, Will not start after unlocking hand brake. Giggling hand brake fixes problem, Battery will not start if less than half charged, must keep charged. This trike is unstable in any downhill turn, need wider wheelbase. Distances on a charge are about 1/2 what is claimed. read more

We ordered 2 of the M 150 R7 Folding bikes from Addmotor. The packing on the bikes was very good and there was no damage to either bike in shipping. Also, the bikes shipped very fast. My husband had questions about the bike assembly and the customer service was great. We used both chat and calling customer service. Both methods worked equally as good. I have also emailed the company with questions, they have replied and were very helpful. Without hesitation I give the customer service 6 stars!! Now the bikes. We love our bikes. The 5 pedal assist modes are perfect in conjunction with the 7 speeds on the bike. We can ride longer distances and get exercise. The 750w bikes have great speed for going up hills. The bikes come with the headlights, taillights and other accessories so they are ready to ride. My husband is not a bike rider but loves his bike and is excited about bike riding. I first posted a review on Nov. 1, 2023 about issues for a Trike purchased from AddMotor. Three weeks after first contacting AddMotor about an electric Trike that had no "electric", we have a resolution! AddMotor provided a FedEx mailer, and I sent them the battery, charger, display, and controller. The components were tested twice and found to be working and they sent videos of their tests. The components were sent back, and I reinstalled the components. But again, no go and the display showed error codes. I informed AddMotor of the results and I was requested to check all cables, etc,, but found nothing. I made a couple of proposals to AddMotor on how to resolve the ongoing problem. AddMotor, to their credit, built a new Trike and delivered it to my home (443 miles from the El Monte, CA store/headquarters). I appreciate very much the extra effort to work this out. I originally chose AddMotor because of the quality of the product and a stellar customer service reputation. That reputation can add another star. I do have, however, a couple of suggestions. We could have gotten to the same place in a couple of days. I requested to talk to someone who was diagnosing the problem but was rebuffed a couple of times and still have not talked to anyone in person or by phone. All of our communication was by email. Email is great but it has limitations. Had I talked to someone and walked through all of the components and processes, we probably would have resolved the issue sooner. Also, AddMotor has policies about returning bikes/trikes (3 days to report problem, 10 days to request a return and refund). There are also deductions made from the refund that can be hefty. I understand why the policies are there (other bike/trike providers have these policies and some are more punitive)--they want to avoid the costs associated with buyers who quickly change their mind. AddMotor has to realize, however, that a buyer like me know the policies and feel that the time passes quickly and er want to resolve the issues. So an email once a day may not be the best way to handle this. Finally, AddMotor also should realize that buyers of electric trikes are likely not to be youngsters and may not feel qualified to do more than simple mechanical and electrical work. For potential trike buyers, I believe their product is very good and their customer service came through at the end. I order the E43 blue with front basket on 04/3/2023 the bike came on 04/8/2023 with 90% pre-assembled and battery fully charged, all I have to do is install front wheel and the handle bar. The basket I order is not well made for the E43 model, but I am able to install it. Total time about 30 minute for first bike. Terrible and criminal how I was treated at the headquarters main corporate office of Add-motor in the City of El Monte. I believe and and have passion to support local American businesses. I reside in the local San Gabriel Area of Southern California I purchased a M81 cargo bike 11 months ago. I notice that inside the front rim of the steel disco brake nut had broken off o the inner part of my front rim. My front brake was not functioning. I arrived at the front desk person who stated his name was Jimmy. He stated he was the manager and would assist me. I explained to him how the nut broke off inside my inner rim . I asked him how can we get this issues resolved. He stated he will Ask his boss about getting it repaired and if it falls under my one year warranty. He returns back and informs me add-motor will not repair it due to my NEGLIGENCE. My mouth dropped. I ask him if I could discuss this issue with upper management. In which He declined and became very vulgar and unprofessional. I was seeking repair that was on warranty. Let it also be known to view the bolt that had broken off inside the front disc rim I had to remove the whole front tire to view the bolt. I am a paying customer that also spent over 300 dollars on accessories for this add motor E BIKE. I was told by the employee "Jimmy" to get the F*** out of "MY Store ". Unfortunately this incident has caused me to never purchase any item from Addmotor because of their unethical way of treating a paying customer that was still under warranty. I purchased two e-bikes two months ago. The E-43, which works and an E-53. The E-53 looked like a returned model when we received it compared to the E-43. I had a flat on the front tire because the liner did not cover the spokes causing a puncture. I had to have the tire repaired at my expense. Once the tire was fixed, the electric motor did not respond in any mode. The throttle did nothing, the peddle assist mode did not work, and the cruise control did not work. I had to send the rear tire to them to test. Then I had to swap controllers with the E-43 to test it and it worked fine. So they had me send the controller anyway. Two months later, all I get is a runaround with support. They have lied to me and never call back when they say they will. I ordered the bikes in July for an October vacation. It does not look like I will have a working bike by then. When I asked who the support person's supervisor was, he said he did not know. Continuous lies and I have to do warranty repair work myself. I am close to the point of hiring an attorney to get a working bike. read more

Addmotor M 66 R7 yellow honest review I am a 5"4 tall 117 pounds with a 30 inch inseam female. I researched electric bikes for 3 months and decided on this m 66 r7 based on honest independent reviews and my desired use. I use this bike 4 days per week to go to work and back home a total of approximately 2 miles round trip. I have a 13 degree slope uphill and then a gradual uphill almost my entire way heading back home. After my work day which is very labor intensive, my regular non electric bike was beyond exhausting. I received my M 66 r7 in about 9 days after ordering. Delivery was not as expected due to ups driver dropping the bike box off the back of his truck but due to excellent packaging my bike was well protected and was unharmed. However, my charger and accessories box was completely missing. I contacted addmotor immediately and they replied within 1 hour. They asked for photos of package exactly as it was delivered understandably and I sent them. They walked me through inspecting the bike and assessing for damage etc. I was very disappointed thus far but Addmotor service remained understanding and reassured me that they would send out my missing parts and make sure that I was satisfied. They followed through with fast and responsive service. My missing parts arrived in about 7 days and I have been enjoying my bike ever since. I have been using my bike 4 days per week for 2 months now and I have not had a single problem or issue. I have about 100 miles on it so far. The battery is amazing and I don't even have to charge it for a couple of weeks. I use my lights every time I ride and they work great. I really like the brake and signal lights. I also use mostly throttle only but it feels comfortable and natural with my feet on the pedals. Although the seat is not adjustable it is long and so easy to find the perfect sweet spot to sit, it's extremely comfortable. The governed speed is adequate for me at 22 mph. This bike has excellent power and torque which I am super happy with. Display is easy to see and use even in direct sunlight. Great quality tires that deliver a smooth ride on my streets. I do not lose speed AT ALL going up my hills. I find that even though it has mechanical brakes, it has excellent stopping power and I put them to the test almost every day going downhill to my work. I was worried that I would not be comfortable riding this bike but as an avid bike rider for decades now, this is the most comfortable bike I have ever ridden. I only ride on my streets and not off road but I feel almost no bumps at all. This bikes front suspension, super thick seat and fat tires works great on my regular streets and my ride is extremely comfortable and smooth. I am so happy that I chose this bike. This is a beautiful bike with excellent build quality and performance in my opinion. It feels very stable and I look forward to going to work now. Bike comfort is 10 out of 10, Bike quality is 9.5 out of 10, Performance is 9 out of 10 ( I do wish the headlight was bigger and brighter and fenders were a bit longer), Bike value for the price 9 out of 10 Addmotor.com service is 9.5 out of 10. Purchased an M430 about 2 months ago. It's been better than my high expectations. First, delivery was fast, and the carton and bike were undamaged. Final assembly was uncomplicated and by following the video, it took little time (I'm no mechanic). The bike is very well built and so far runs quietly- no squeaks, no rattles. It is really powerful! Even on steep hills, I can accelerate effortlessly (I'm no lightweight). The ride is smooth and well balanced. Changing gears requires just one finger, and the response is instant. Addmotor staff were both courteous and timely, answering my few questions fully. Overall, my experience with this company and with my M430 earns a rating of 5/5. Like read more

I have been wanting, no, needing a electrically assisted cycle for so long, I started by converting my own, then an excellent e-trike came to me the ELF 1.5, then I got the Addmotor M-81 Cargo and I have to say they are very well built, well thought out, fairly priced, great customer service, now I have 5 cycles, 1 is a e-trike, 3 are e-bikes, 1 is peddle powered bike, I really like the characteristics of them all, they're like: a Corolla, a Tahoe, a Mercedes Deisel Wagon, a Alfa Romeo sports car, and a Mustang GT! so my transport needs and desires are met. I'm a 70+ former century rider who had to stop cycling after a spinal injury. The M-340 has allowed me to get back in the saddle and enjoy riding. It is a quality trike. Addmotor!! Awesome customer service, I went in during lunch time and the bald mechanic was eating his lunch in the lobby and he stopped mid lunch to greet me and assist me with my inquiries. I had some questions about the M-81, and I was allowed to test ride it. This was great, because I wanted to test them before purchasing. Addmotor has a BBB rating of "F, " which I can attest to. I had the Garton m-81 for ten months, and the LCD failed on the odometer/speedometer. I took the bike to a local reputable repair shop, and they engaged with the service department at Add Motor. They returned the wheel/Hub and broken LCD to Addmotor as requested. Addmotor then claimed they received a bent rim (which we didn't bend), but I later agreed to purchase a new rim to get it over with. Today, I received the package from Addmotor, thinking I would have my new rim, my original working motor with less than 100 hours on it, and a fixed LCD. Instead, I got someone else's broken motor, no LCD, and an old used rim (not new like I purchased.) I don't believe they carry new parts; they swap parts and make matters worse. Buyer beware. I started with an LCD issue and now have many broken parts, and they kept my LCD. 11/17/23: Sir, I received your reply, "Contact customer service." We have constantly contacted customer service, and they no longer respond to us. So, for those who think this is a concerned business response, it is rubbish. It is for damage control. When I went there looking for a new Ebike, I wasn't sure if I wanted a ADDMOTOR bike or a different type of ebike... but once I arrived there I was greeted by Jimmy, he was so helpful on everything I had to ask and to top it off they have all there bike on the floor to try them out and once I was sure I wanted a Motan M70 I end up getting it and they built it for me in front of me and I was really excited to ride it, so I rode it home and man let me tell you that the battery life is great and over all its just a nice Ebike... read more

We bought Addmor Ebikes which we really love. However, there's a flaw in creation of the bikes, the tires/tubes used do not adequately hold the bike and constant flat tires is what you will be dealing with. If you read reviews about this company you wouldn't purchase from them. They basically don't care and are terrible to deal with. My purchase was met with emails saying my card was declined, I should do this and that. I finally got an email through and told them it wasn't declined yet approved and this was days later. They have a link based upon your model to buy parts, I bought tubes. The link is for the wrong tube. When you contact them to let them know they have a snotty response saying they sent what I ordered. Calls un answered. And the big thing is they spam you with requests to rate their Zen Desk Support, get this, the link is broken. Don't bother with them. They have a 14 day return Policy and many say by the time they get the bikes put together and realize something is wrong, they won't stand behind their products. It could be a GREAT company, it's just so poorly run. read more
