What makes students stand out is their ability to speak their mind in class without being shut down or judged. Their voices are heard, and they share their brilliant ideas while respecting the opinions of others. Truthfully, you will be paying A LOT for a sisterhood that a majority of girls will seek again with sororities in college. It was less High School Musical and more Mean Girls. Most teachers are very caring and set high expectations (as they should since tuition is costly). I can't say Rosary prepared me for science courses or has much diversity, but maybe that's different these days. Try and humble the privileged girls and their snobby parents. Hindsight is 20/20. Rather than throwing money down the toilet for four years send your daughter to Troy High School or Oxford Academy. Apply the $50,000+ savings towards college tuition. I'm incredibly proud of him, and I often catch myself admiring qualities in him that remind me I still have things to learn myself. I truly believe so much of that is because of St. Catherine's. To him, it isn't just a school; it's an extension of our family. Knowing he has such a strong support system there gives me confidence that he'll continue to thrive and go far in life. One thing people often misunderstand is the military program. It's not there to reform boys; it's there to teach discipline, structure, sacrifice, accountability, and the value of strong camaraderie. Those are lessons that shape character for a lifetime. SCA has helped mold my brother into someone I genuinely look up to, despite being more than 20 years older than him. You can't put a price on that. He is kind, levelheaded, stoic, devoted, respectful to everyone he meets, and carries himself with a maturity far beyond his years. The teachers are not able to teach because the students are constantly in assemblies, games, field trips and activities that are not conducive to develop a good learning environment and work ethics. The school does not have learning support, or speech, not even a librarian. The counselor is a volunteer psychology student, not even licensed. There are so many discipline issues: computer hacking, cyberbully, threats. As a parent, I must warn you. Be careful.

The teachers are nurturing, patient, and genuinely invested in each child's growth. They create a warm, loving environment where children feel safe, valued, and encouraged to learn. The balance of building fundamental reading skills, play-based learning, and faith-based education helped prepare both of our children for kindergarten while also fostering kindness and cooperation. We especially appreciate that the school is WASC-accredited as well as NLSA through Lutheran Schools, which reflects its commitment to maintaining high educational standards. The curriculum is thoughtfully chosen and taught, and the communication between teachers and families has always been excellent. Most importantly, our children looked forward to going to school every day. They formed lasting friendships, developed a love of learning, and built a strong foundation both academically and spiritually. I appreciate the weekly email newsletters, emails with other special info as well as the verbal updates we receive when picking up/ dropping off. Our girls love coming here and I can see that the teachers truly love their students. Our daughters are safe and well cared for. I'm glad that the children are learning at their own pace through play and also picking up valuable social skills by interacting with children their age. My family is not a particularly religious one, however we don't mind our girls learning about Jesus and Christian values. The school is inclusive of all people which is important to us.
