In over 20 years of getting Mani/pedi, I've never had such a horrible experience. there were three of us one of us just wanted our nails painted and they put a full set on. We all were supposed to get mani/pedi and I literally received the bare minimum. I felt like I was rushed. I got the scrub on my leg lotion on my legs my toenails painted, and my fingernails painted. They did not do anything with my cuticles. There was paint left all over the edge of my fingernails and on my fingers that I pointed out twice and I had to go to another person that was doing my daughter's nails for them to tell her she needed to clean it up. They didn't clean around any of my nails or touch any of my cuticles. I've never had even the most basic manicure and pedicure. They have always cleaned up the nails and cuticles and then even after telling them everything they still charged us full price and something that was supposed to be a little over $200 ended up being $350 and we didn't even get the services that we requested. I also tried to have a conversation with the lady doing my nails, and she just ignored me. They were not friendly. They were not professional. It was the worst experience I've ever had. I went in this place for my very first time it came highly recommended from a friend. I got a pedicure paid $62 for it only to realize that you have to pay $15 extra for the paint which I found to be crazy but that's OK. That's how they run the shop. The lady did an amazing job. I go to get my nails filled. And this lady just acted like she could not understand what I wanted out of my nails initially my nails were rounded, and I asked for her to just cut them down to natural and make them like square. With rounded corners. She looked at me and said I cannot do that. You have to have New set. I didn't understand why the normal place. I go to changes them for me all the time has never had an issue. So I do what she says and get a full new set. I show her a picture of exactly the type of nail. I want the shape and all and the design. The whole time shaping my nails they're incorrect. I told her that I wanted them so short that you could barely see them over my fingers. And she said OK she keeps filing and then she shows it to me and I'm like yeah that's OK. As we keep going, I noticed that each nail looks completely different that they're not anything like the picture that I'm showing her and I just feel like at this time we are failing to communicate. After she's all done and they're painted. She did an amazing job on the design. But my nails were so thick they were actually grabbing my finger Skin. So I go after paying $147 And am about to leave when I just start crying. I have never had such a bad nail job done in my life and I have been getting my nails done for a very long time. So I go back in. With my sister-in-law and we explained to them what I showed the lady and what my nails look like and he had me sit down. And they Fixed them. Or so I thought. So he filed them so thinly that the acrylic was peeling From my nail. And I called and they said that I could come back, but it have to be a couple of days because it was busy. I just decided not to go back altogether because I go back and get your nails done when they weren't done the first time or the second time correctly. And not on top of that I was so uncomfortable in that place. They were so very rude, especially the second guy who did my nails. Here it is not even a week later all of my paint is peeling off of my nails. I take very good care of my hands and my nails. I mean, I don't pay that much money to not. And I'm wondering, do I go back to them and have them fix them? I feel like it is their responsibility. Or do I just go back to where I know they're gonna be done correctly. Although hours posted say they close at 7pm, I think they stay over a bit as long as there is clientele to warrant staying open a bit late. Services appeared hygienic and in line with standard infection control procedure (auto clave, disinfectant of foot tub, gloves to protect workers). I went here yesterday, and I am very, very happy with my nails. The person who did my nails was super nice, and he did a great job! I think my nails look great, and everyone there seems very nice and welcoming. This place is definitely worth going to, and it's not very expensive. My nails costed 45$, and they didn't charge any extras. They have tons of colors to chose from, and a great selection. Everyone there seems very professional, and the place usually has a good amount of customers, which I understand why. Honestly, I think my mails look as good as people's in their explore page. They did an absolutely fantastic job, and I am definitely coming back. If you want to get you're nails done, this is the place you should go. read more

I wasn't happy with my service at this establishment. The woman that did my nails was rude and seemed annoyed that I wanted to look at different gel colors than the ones she had given me. She only soaked and filed off some of my old set. None of my nails are the same shape. I didn't receive any of the typical manicure services such as cuticle pushing, cutting, etc. It has only been two days and three of my nails are broken. So it's a pretty big deal that I can say with full confidence that this is the best nail salon I've ever been to! Very legit salon with every nail tech fully licensed! I can honestly say that this is the best pedicure I've ever had! My nail tech was extremely meticulous about gently cleaning my feet from overgrown cuticles and calluses. He cleaned around my big toe nails better than any other nail tech, which is important to me considering I have problems with them becoming ingrown. Even though she did not do my nails at Evans because I had someone else there that did mine, she seemed as if she was a nice person. I was pleased to see her but i can't say the same for her. My sister took my kids and my mother in law here on Saturday. They did good on my younger kids cause all they did was get a polish. The only guy in the shop did my mother in law but was SO rude. He trimmed her nails and then told her and everybody in the shop that she had the worst nails. He refused to put a clear polish on them. I have been to many different nail salons in California, and this has got to be a joke compared to what I have had done for the same price or less. Much like a few others said, the nail techs here are incredibly rude and off putting. Don't expect to have an actual conversation with them, because they don't really care. I had selected a color, and I didn't like that it was a thin color/coat/too natural. I requested to change the color after she only colored 3 of my nails, and she looked at me and said it costs an extra $5 to do this. For what? You barely started coloring my nails, and it's my actual nails, not any fake ones. I also brought in my own top coat and base coat, so whatever was "wasted" on my small nails shouldn't cost $5 extra. Was also misled on their definition of "manicure", as they only painted my nails, which is something I could have done for myself, at home. Manicure means you take care of ALL hand related cleaning, such as cuticle cutting and hand massages, and I definitely was not satisfied with the service. If you're wanting a real manicure, pay a little extra and go to another manicure place. There's a reason why they're cheap, and won't hesitate to take every bit of your money for every change and mistake that "you" make. read more

We had called and arranged an appointment time and upon arrival the owner told us we must have the wrong place because that time slot was already taken. Instead of telling us a wait time he began talking badly about us to other customers. We decided to leave at this point and went elsewhere. I have had a full set of acrylic nails with gel done here before and the quality is shotty to say the least. I wish I could give this salon a negative rating. I went here and had my nail technician do a French tip on my toe nails and she did not put a top coat on them. My friend got the same thing and her polish looks terrible. My friend then proceeded to get a manicure done and her polish is see through. All the technician had to do was put another coat on but he wanted us out of there. I told the staff I did not want to get my finger nails done and they kept asking me to get them done to get my business. The staff was very rude not to just me and my friend but also other customers. We called at 10am and was able to get an appointment at 11am which was impressive because we were oblivious to the fact that there were 2 high school dances the same day and the first place we walked into told us they had no time if we didn't have appointments. The staff was friendly, joked with us, and were easy to understand. The prices are average but you get a bit more for your money here and the service is great. read more
