CROOKS.. DO NOT GO HERE!! Save yourself time and most of all money. I've been here 3 times. The first time I got the ying yang dipped nails done and you can see from my bank account, they were $65. Lasted a while and I was happy. I went back the second time to do my nails and I asked for Dipped. Michelle insisted on acrylic saying they were as good as dipped. That is the pink and purple nails that are in the pictures. I also got a pedicure. The only thing that got me was my full set and pedicure were $115. I almost died!!! I didn't get designs just 3 different colors. But they do an amazing job and a nice, clean place! Just won't be able to do it every 2 weeks! So Thursday, 3 days later my thumb nail broke. Then Monday December 13th my middle finger nail broke too. I attached a picture. It was $115, with no nail design, I could not believe it, they were not even good. So today I got the blue and pink ones. You can see where a the 4 nails with blue and pink are bleeding together with a couple having spots of no color. I asked him how much they would be and if it would be the price on the board. He said no and that the price would be whatever his wife says it should be. I asked why the blue and pink were bleeding into each other and he replied with "that's the way it is supposed to be. " I lost it when it came time to pay. Just these nails, no design like the first time when I paid $65. I got to the counter and it was $100. I asked if he was serious, he said yes because of the design. I said it's no design and your charging $100? He took 2 pictures too, I guess because he was proud for not doing a great job and ripping me off. His wife said it was because they were long and a design. What design? He drew crappie lines on 4 nails. I will never go here again. They were screaming at me trying to justify changing me $100 but it was wrong. They told me to never come back and I laughed. I've posted this on Facebook and have people saying they had the same issue people on here say the same about the charges. I'm reporting them to the Better Business Buruea and pasting on Instagram and Twitter as well. They can't do this to people. Look at my bank info. $65 was for the ones where every nail had a design.... they are crooks Please share! read more

I just left with cuts on my toes, painful cuticles, and toenails so short that I look like I have baby toes. This was the worst pedicure experience I have ever had. The massage chair punched me in the back and hips for an hour; there was no setting to adjust the firmness. I turned it off repeatedly, but they would turn it back on. Michelle was rough, grabby, and snippy with her customers. She cut my mom's feet twice, and the young lady who started my pedicure cut me once. They both clipped and pulled at my cuticles so much that the sides of my toes are bright red. Guess I'll be headed to a wedding this weekend with ugly toes. read more

Friendly nail technician, and a nice, clean job! To me, a smile, and neatness are important. That being said, I expected a better (or an actual) hand massage for a $30 gel mani. He kind of just squeezed my fingers quickly. I'm also kicking myself for not requesting a 3rd coat. The color on the gel sampler was a purple-mauve if you can believe that. What I got was almost clear. I'm not too picky about colors, whatever, they all tend to turn out more sheer than they are on the sampler, so you just have to prep for that. I like that my nails are classy. I would go back, but I have yet to find a nail salon in Lynchburg that will give me a great nail experience for the price. read more

I went in there 12 days ago to get a pedicure. The guy kept cutting my toe. I yanked my foot away from him several times and puttl it back in the water so he couldn't touch me. His boss sat right there and watched the whole thing happen. Eventually I had to get up put my soapy feet in my sandals and leave. Now it's 12 days later and my toe still hurts because he cut me. I never plan to go back. Now I know why I was the only customer in the whole place. read more

1st the overall work wasn't horrible. However the nail tech started to cut my toenails without asking me if they needed to be cut. I had already cut my nails to the length I wanted it to be because I don't like for them to be extremely short. However I didn't have a chance to tell her that before she started cutting. Next when she did my gel polish she put more base gel on my skin then the nail. It burn something bad. Instead of starting over since no polish had been placed on it she decided to do cut and file my nail which hurt and left my nail with this weird hump and polish missing see attached picture. Lastly she told me my total was $55 but that she would give me $5.00 off. The sign said 20% off. Maybe she thought I couldn't add. So not only did she hurt me but she cheated me as well. However, I gave her a tip of $5.00. I did so because if you are willing to cheat your clients you must be desperate for money. I will never go back to this shop again. Good Day All! Observation 1: I had an appointment and still had to wait 30 minutes to be assisted. Observation 2: there were only 2 nail techs with a business full of clients. On a weekend??? Alex would work on my nails for 10 minutes and then work on someone else for 10 and then come back to mine. Utterly ridiculous.. No professional personal care, it was like a production line. Observation 3: Alex was very rough and painful when working on the nail because he was rushing. I understand sometimes pain is beauty but dang at a nail salon? It was not warranted. Observation 4: when waiting the woman was very rude to another client. She said ' I asked you what you wanted and you said 'yes' now you have me to redo" she became very upset with the client and stopped working on her for 10 minutes and started working on someone else. When she returned she continued to be rude again and repeated the same rhetoric. My nails look nothing like I asked. Alex started to become rude with me until I stated I was just asking a question and understand what he was trying to do. They seem like they do not have time to be pleasant and provide the spa like treatment and desired services. I was charged exponentially for wanting an additional coat of polish which made the color pop. When I questioned why I was charged for a base he simply said because it took my time? Time for what? To do your job? This place is a rip off because my nails were half ass painted and I will have to go to another salon to get them redone. Also my nails are not even and they are slanted?! I will never go back to this place. If you want value for your money and want an professional expert job then go elsewhere! They take your money for subpar performance. At least they could have offered wine or other beverages for the costs. Warning!! Go to another place if you want your nails to look professionally done and looking GREAT. The girls spend way more time on massage than anywhere else. So much so that you wonder if they've forgotten about your other leg sometimes :). They just got new chairs, too which is nice. My mom & I had pedicures last weekend. It is disorganized. The nail polishes are not all salon quality. Usually a pedi lasts at least 4 weeks. Mine hasn't lasted a week. The lady who did my pedi was professional and nice. My mom had a man who hurt her and didn't speak enough English to have her correct what was wrong. I understand minimal English... But "none" is not acceptable in a service business. We had the feeling he was saying nasty things by his tone and attitude. May not have been... But not conducive to a relaxing atmosphere. I wasn't overly impressed; my technician didn't listen to me when I asked for square shaped nails (I asked and received a gel manicure) and she got a lot of the lacquer on my skin under the nail. read more

We were in the area for a visit with our LU student and looking for a place to get a mani. This was the closest nail salon and we decided to give it a try. My husband got a manicure and I got a gel manicure, both by Michele. She did an awesome job and my nails looked perfect! She took her time and was very personable. Michele, her husband and sister just bought this shop about 2 months ago and are offering $5 discounts for first time customers. Students always get a 10% discount. Nice people but they have little skills with painting design. Very old school, they dried my nails with fans. The husband did my fill in & it was terrible. It looked as if a child did my nails. I will never go there again or recommend their services. Terrible terrible! read more

Ok I'm not sure how this place received more than 1 star. 1st mistake on my visit, I'm getting a toe nail polish change and as the lady is putting remover on the cotton, she's letting the liquid run allllll over my feet, so now I'm freezing I've literally NEVER experienced that. When I first got in, she asked me to pick a color, I clearly said "just white all over" but she began doing French tips. When I corrected her, she had the audacity to smack her teeth and then yell at me. "Why didn't you say that the first time?! You said tips" excuse me mam, I never said tips, I said white all over. She proceeds to paint over the work she's already done and so now you can see the tips underneath. I can tell she was angry because she made paint mistakes ON my feet. Then she angrily demands me to slide up in the chair. So now it's time to dry. She takes me to a waiting chair and places a small fan in front of my feet. I have never seen anything like this in my life! I'm used to sitting at a table with the dryer underneath. I'm from Richmond, so maybe you guys down here in Lynchburg just do things different but i wouldn't take my dog here. Service was horrible, the lady was very nasty. I can tell she felt bad because she kept coming over to me trying to fix it by doing little stuff here and there to clean my feet up. So, I felt like I was in HER way. read more

I would not recommend this place. Their phone may ring off the hook for business, but their customer service skills are awful. Without waiting in line we were there for one hour and twenty minutes getting a fill in and color. The lady beside couldn't make up her mind and I suggested to do one of each and pay the difference. So she could see which one she liked. The lady doing the nails yelled, NO! I not do that for you. This place wasn't the cleanest and was very slow service. WORST pedicure I've ever had in my life! Not only did they do a terrible job but they have horrible customer service too! All the nail polishes look like they've gone bad and half of them aren't even salon quality! When I was looking through the polishes I truly wanted to just walk out but I was scared I'd get chased out of the store. Once the man started doing my pedicure he was making me bleed and I kept jerking my foot back as he was hurting me and he asked if it hurt and I said yes, and he goes no it tickles. Instead of massaging my feet he slapped them and my legs and I really just wanted to say what are you doing? The final straw was him rubbing lotion into my pants. The nails that I got don't necessarily look bad but they aren't what I asked for at all. I asked for gel extensions because I wanted a little more length and something harder on my very brittle winter nails but what I got was just plain shellac and she filed off my nails completely. I don't understand how that happened but I didn't want to say anything since I had never had gels so I didn't know the process and I didn't know she wasn't doing the correct thing. The nails I got look alright, kind of sloppy but I'm just disappointed I didn't get what I asked for and I basically have no nail at all. read more
