We're currently having issues with our pool and were trying to trouble shoot it ourselves. We went to Home Depot and an employee suggested that we go to California Pools on Magnolia because the guy there know everything there is to know about pools. So we yelped there address and went. Unfortunately, when we got to that address there was no store just a Post Office Mailing Address. We called while at the address thinking we might be at the wrong place when they tell us that they don't have a store front in Riverside or Corona and that they operate someplace out of upland....I think. Nobody has enough time to write the amount of EVERYTHING that went wrong. But to pay $15k-$20k more than anyone else quoted then still have to pay even more for inspections, gridding, decking, and more even though the city and county inspector said California pools should have paid because it's required for them to produce a pool. I've had my pool for approximately four years now. The original installer had since retired and I was put in touch with Dave. After a few quotes, I decided to go with CA pools, primarily because of the quality of the work I saw in reviews and their website. Overall, we are very pleased with our pool,, and our backyard now looks and feels like a resort. The construction took longer than we had hoped, which was disappointing. However, at the end of the day it is more important that the quality and look of the pool was excellent and that is what we received. Both Dave and Zach, who we still bug constantly for little issues for new/novice pool owners, have been excellent to work with. Every suggestion Dave made in regards to design, color, tile, etc., was on point, from the color of the pebble tec to the type of coping (which our friends and neighbors are wowed by).
