It started with basic design idea on the back of a napkin and turned into The Most Beautiful outdoor kitchen! Way above our wildest dreams. Jason came to our home with a tape measure and some blue painters tape to turn our napkin vision into some real workable dimensions for a custom build. He gave us a really great deal and reasonable expectations for delivery. We went to the showroom and met with Kaitlyn to pick out tiles and that is where the magic happened. Kaitlyn and my fiancé worked beautifully as a team to select the perfect counter-top, back-splash tiles and some stack-stone accents. They really know their business and products. The delivery team arrived 8 weeks later; meeting the original promise made by Jason. The team was professional and careful as they turned the napkin vision into reality. The next day, Eddy the "palapa guy" came to confirm the dimensions for the palapa roof. A couple days later and our outdoor kitchen was completed. Our outdoor kitchen / bbq island is so much more beautiful than I ever could have hoped. I cannot find words to describe how happy we are. Thank you Jason and Kaitlyn from Valley Hot Springs Spas. I would give 1.5- 2 stars for the lack of a code of conduct or the enforcement thereof. There were so many couples who struggled with keeping their "physical passion for one another" to themselves. Many different couples were spanking each other LOUDLY in various areas of the resort. There were some couples who were getting a little too comfortable with one another in different soaking tubs, some who were getting "handsy" at the clay cove, and some who were just doing questionable behavior regardless where they were. I am a young adult and I've been around couples who have had public passion for each other- like making out at amusement parks- you know, the usual. BUT this behavior was on another level; this was out of the bounds of public decency. On the note of public decency, there were a few guests whose swimwear exposed more than it covered (if you're picking up what I'm throwing down). There was, also, one man in particular who was smoking/ taking a fat rip of his vape in front of CHILDREN. All that being said, I could NOT, in good conscience, recommend this place to anyone accompanied by very young humans as a child-friendly/ family- friendly resort. Aside from those concerns, everything else met my standards. Hotel room (Stone Lodge) was clean. Towels were stocked at the pools. The temperatures were good. Most of the staff were friendly and helpful. I would not return as a day pass user (since my party and I are not locals), BUT we would come back as hotel guests.

The reason for my 1-star rating is because when we were ready to schedule, we called and called and no one ever answered. My husband also tried and left messages that were never returned. I know they are a busy company, but it shouldn't be that hard to schedule once a quote has been provided. Perhaps Doug needs to hire a receptionist to help with phones. We ended up going with another company and I'm so glad we did. They did a wonderful job! They were also Yelp verified and backed by a $2,500 protection by Yelp. We chose a smaller company where we had direct access to the owner and communication was never a problem. The owner was also onsite every day of the job.

This was a large project that involved removing the garage door, retrofitting 3 sets of doors, framing and finishing for a custom look, inside and out. They even installed special thresholds so we could be assured of being able to roll equipment in and out of the space easily. After each stage of the job, the crew cleaned up the area and removed all debris. The price quoted us initially was in line with competitors, better than several, who failed to follow up with us. There was no cost-creep, and we finished at the price quoted us. Progress and payment was tracked on their online job project site, which was an added benefit and inspired confidence. I ended up selecting a Duralum cover that his company also offers, and I'm glad I did. It's just the look I was going for. I was also impressed with Adam's business model, which is built on quality and efficiency at a very reasonable price without cutting corners or sacrificing customer service. Now for the best part: A guy named Brody, his lead installer. In addition to being a super nice guy, his work is meticulous. The back of my home isn't linear, so there are bump-outs and protrusions, making the installation more difficult and time consuming. This wasn't the slightest challenge for Brody and his team. The finished product is snuggled tightly against my stucco and professionally sealed on the roof to prevent any water dripping through when it rains. I watched him work, measuring and cutting the aluminum to match my home so the fit and finish is far greater than I imagined. As you can tell from the photos, I still have work to do (concrete coating, fence repairs, etc.) to match the beauty of my new cover.

He offered to test my water and clean my filter on the spot even before I hired him. I immediately loved James' attention to detail and his care for doing a great job and delivering a sparkling pool. He cleaned my filter and tested my pool and went on with the rest of his busy schedule. The next day, I was given a reasonable estimate for ridding my black mold and for servicing my three pools. We hired James. It's been three months now and we are impressed and over satisfied with how James delivered. James spent a week working tirelessly to rid the black mold without having to drain our pool. We had a relapse after a few weeks and James went back at no additional cost and got it back under control. As far as our pool maintenance; each week we get an email from James with the results of the water testing, what chemicals he put in the pools to keep them at the right level, and a picture of our sparkling pools. Pools that looked dark and greenish before are now bright sparkly blue. Thank you James for being so amazing! You have taken a huge burden and stress away from us.

He took the time to identify the issue and was able to replace and fix our water pressure regulator as well. That was something we hadn't even realized was a problem, and we really appreciated his attention to detail.
