I orignally gave them a great score after the job was done. But now, after a a few years, I rescind my review. Concrete job is poor and crumbling apart across entire jobsite after only a couple of years. They will not fix. Will never recommend. Looks good at first, does not stand by their product. Also, blocks falling off facade and falling into the pool constantly. They just do not care. Not happy with the service, they are one and done. While the owner was friendly enough and was one that came to us directly himself (back during Covid - end of 2020) which impressed us, most of his talk was bragging about how many jobs he had running simultaneously and his own amazing pool that he hosted lavish parties. We asked for a mini/smaller scale version of our neighbor's pool he did around the same time and we knew what our neighbor's paid. The bid that came back was outrageous (over $90k back in 2020) when I wrote them back and said there must have been some mistake, our bid was altered and sent back all of a sudden $20k less which didn't give us a good feeling nor did we feel we could trust this company so we decided to go with someone else. read more

This is gonna be my honest review of this company, so here it goes. Called a few places and got multiple quotes on a pool and concrete , I was impressed from the start with Austin Rizzo. They gave us a good price on exactly what we wanted at first we were a bit sticker shocked but they worked a great package deal together and decided to use Premier and it's best decision we've made. I was blown how great there team is, Shannon was great at scheduling all the steps it took to build it and 6 weeks later our pool is complete. As someone brand new to the pool world, I've quickly realized it's a lot like buying a car, overwhelming, full of fine print, and not always straightforward. That said, my initial experience with Joey at Premier was actually really positive. He was personable, professional, and seemed genuinely willing to work within my budget. After meeting him at their office, I was pretty close to moving forward. I told him upfront that I wanted to get another quote before making a final decision. He responded, "As you should," which I appreciated. But then he asked who I was meeting with, and when I told him, he launched into a long rant about how they used to work for Premier, left, etc. A little much, but I let it slide. Joey promised to email me the bid and a set of videos that night. That was the last I heard from him. I gave it a few days. Nothing. I followed up via email, crickets. I figured maybe he was waiting to see how my other meeting went. Still nothing. Two weeks later, I sent another email. Then I left a voicemail. No response. I've been in a long-term relationship, so it's been a while since I've been ghosted like that. In the end, I didn't go with Premier, not because of price, but because of the lack of follow-through. There are a lot of pool companies out there, and communication matters. If you're starting your pool journey, here's what I've learned: * Many quotes don't include demo or access prep, which can be expensive. * Concrete cutting and yard access aren't always mentioned upfront. * Almost every contract has a clause about hard dirt or boulders, which could lead to surprise costs. None of this is meant to bash Joey -- I actually liked him. Just sharing my experience. I will say I did ask if they offered a cash discount and he said not really but he would ask. We came to use PPAS as they were a referral and I also did a small check online which was my mistake. Things were good for the first month and then it starting going down hill and never got better.....Owners in California are same in Texas but under the name Pinnacle Pools and Spa. Both franchises share under the same franchisor umbrella. Our project is currently on 574 days of not being complete as of this review Despite issues of communication and not really having a project manager (he left the company), our first major delay was when I found we were overcharged with material calculations thus overcharged in prices despite repeat requests for a breakdown of itemization of costs. Also we were also told in writing based where lived pricing was higher. (do not even get me started on that) the miscalculation issues took a couple of months to sort out with the subcontractor and PPAS then just when we thought we were back on track it happened again (miscalculation of material) Interesting enough with the same subcontractor. We extended grace both times honestly we have extended grace this entire project as there is so much more I can say since I have documented our project along with my husband being in the construction field. A lot of little mistakes here and there but understanding people are humans too. Never mind we live in a rural area and the equipment has been sitting for almost two years....we are taking bets on what animals has made a home???? Since we spoke about this from the beginning with the PPAS Sale Representative and how animals love to get inside the pool equipment. Please note our pool was designed to help our special needs children who are medically complex and water is therapy to them. Sadly, we have heard nothing but empty promises; now I have found through researching many others are in similar situations in trusting the same owners or PPAS...it is just a nightmare...Stay far away!!!!! He came to our home and was able to provide us with a complimentary 3D design that we were able to make revisions to as well. Premier to the rescue! We originally chose to go with a small general contractor who said they can build a pool hoping to save some money. Just about a year later, after chasing down that contractor who took most of our budget then closed his business and left my family with a partially finished pool I decided to call Premier Pools & Spas Temecula. Chase was very timely in coming to meet us and up front about what completion would entail as well as timelines. We signed up with Chase on 12/13/23 and had a completed pool full of water on 1/3/24. They're so fast! Blain was our PM and they both made sure our project went quickly and smoothly. At the end of the day we ended up paying more than what we would have if we had just gone with Premier in the first place only it wouldn't have taken a year of headaches and shoddy contractors. Premier Pools has been awful to work with. I would highly suggest looking for a different company when building a pool. When building our pool I interviewed multiple companies. They were great with their selling points, but they are only that. "sales men". Our pool took multiple months due to mistakes made on the contract. We had asked for things that's weren't included on the contract and ended up having to pay out of pocket for stuff that should have been included on the loan. They destroyed our side front yard and destroyed our irrigation lines with no care. The pool was initially dug incorrectly even though they advised us each step would be need to be approved by us during the process. They had to add some type of steel wall into the hole to fix their mistake. We had a firepit installed by them and even showed them pictures how we wanted it done. It looks nothing like we wanted and the tiles are uneven. They refused to fix it and just made excuses. Our concrete has spots, but apparently that's normal even though other contractors have told us it wasn't. They drilled equipment into the house at the most inconvenient location and refused to change it. (Why wouldn't you ask the homeowner their opinion before drilling into the house?) Our pool turned out beautiful, but has soooo many problems. We have had our pool for one month. Initially the lights weren't working. The pump still isn't functioning correctly and runs all days. The pump already has a leak (which the water company contacted us about). Our jacuzzi ended up being empty one day and I had to hire a whole different company to fix it since it wasn't an emergency to them. We have called them and the pool cleaning company they contracted but have had no luck with them fixing the system or even showing us how to use it even though they said we would have a "pool school". If I could go back in time, I would never work with this company again. Overall product was really good, but they had to use mini bobcat to go thru side yard and to do so it went back in forth in front yard. THIS COMPANY USES DISPICABLE PRACTICES In their standard contract there is a clause that gives them a free pass for not paying their subcontractors. For an overrun because they failed to estimate properly the total quantity on required materials and then due to some damaged materials that had to be replaced, they do not pay their suppliers / subcontractor. They instead told their subcontractors to put a lien on the property. That leaves the homeowner liable for their mistakes. i did ask about the clause and was told it was not an issue because they always pay otherwise they would not have good supplier relationships. But they did not pay. And they refuse to let you know in advance. I have text messages proving this. read more

We are HIGHLY disappointed with this company. We had a pool built that was finished last October 2021. To their credit l, the pool is finished, functioning and we have not had problems specifically with the pool (yet). Our complaint is around the entire process of having the pool built and Premier pools customer service after the fact. During the build: Nothing happened within the timeline we were given. We were CONSTANTLY left wondering when the next step would happen, then when we would ask questions we were treated like we were almost harassing them. Most things we'd learn of day of or when someone was already in our backyard. We understood our backyard was a construction zone, however, I don't think it's too much to ask to keep us informed considering how much money we gave them to build said pool. We were often met with responses to our questions and concerns with "don't worry we've got this." And. "We are the professionals, we have everything under control." Our backyard throughout the project looked like a junk yard. Their hired workers left plastic bottles, cigarettes buts and food wrappers every single time they came and left. When we wanted to step outside of their box with our tile choice we were met with negativity and a lot of no's because ultimately it would be "more work for their tile guys and if we don't want any mistakes we should keep it simple" Our project manager was changed twice mid project and the only reason we would find out he changed would be when we'd see his name removed from our group text and another name added which prompted us to then ask questions... at that point we were informed of the change and that again they had everything under control. The whole process really left us feeling jaded. Bringing us to the present. Once they signed off and said everything was done and we were good to move forward with turf and landscaping- we did. We used their recommended landscaper and finished the project. It turned out beautiful. After the rain and downpours we had in December the entire perimeter around the pool where the gas line was dug (by them for the pool and hot tub) started sinking. It has sank 3 and 4 inches in some places. It's very obvious where it's sinking under the turf because it's only in the place where the trench was dug- not in other places. What we have discovered is that the trench was not backfilled properly. It was not compacted in that process. They just put dirt over the hole and essentially walked away. Every person I've spoken to in the construction industry has told me that you have to fill the dirt in flights and compact. It's obvious that didn't happen because we Can stick a rod iron pole down at least 2 feet with minimal to no resistance. When we contacted premier we were told we had to place a warranty complaint. After a whole lot of back and forth emails and frustration our original project manager finally came out to "take a look at things" and then to finally tell us that they are not going to fix the problem. Apparently, the contract only states that they will fill in the dirt and doesn't say that they will compact the dirt. Bottom line is... I HIRED THEM AND PAID THEM A LOT OF MONEY TO BE THE CONTRACTOR AND TO MAKE SURE THINGS WERE DONE PROPERLY. IM NOT IN CONSTRUCTION OR A POOL BUILDER SO HOW WOULD I KNOW YOU DIDN'T BACK FILL PROPERLY?????????!!! They also told us that our landscaper (that they recommended) should have caught that. I'm sorry but why would my landscaper dig down that deep to grade the yard and plant some plants for us? That's total BS. Long story. Sorry. But at the end of this we are left paying more money to have this fixed. I'm sure we could be those people and yell and scream and demand things be taken care of- but we just don't have the energy and aren't those people. Just know this company does not operate on integrity and will not be there for you when shit starts to sink and they have the thousands of dollars you paid them. read more

The entire team at Premier provided us with a white glove experience throughout the entire process. A special call out to Blaine and Chase for making pool building a nice experience for our family. These two guys went above and beyond to make sure that we were happy with everything. They even went so far as to do things that were outside the scope of work - like taking the old basketball hoop and pole out and cutting it into pieces to be hauled away. I bought a new spa and pool from Drew! He's was great! He took care of us really well, he was informative and patient, answered all our questions even if we asked more than once. If you want someone who is reliable and knowledgeable and can be creative, then Drew is your guy. Once the project started it seemed like it only took a couple weeks. I believe we got more for our money and the value speaks for itself. Adrian and his team built the pool and did a wonderful job at keeping the area clean and safe. The worst customer service ever. They start off very good at the beginning when they're trying to sell you the perfect pool. We had Drew, who at the beginning was amazing very responsive. The minute we signed paperwork things changed. We had so many issues during construction with the workers they hired. But it was impossible to get ahold of anyone with premier pools. Drew now didn't care because he got his commission and our project manager would never get back to us nor respond to our texts. We had many issues with the work that was done. I asked multiple times for a manager left messages and nothing. Pool is finally done we have many issues and they directed us to warranty department. It's been 4 weeks and this " warranty department never gets back to us. Please please do your homework before hiring this company. Not only did they design an incredible pool and jacuzzi in our small backyard, they offered advice on landscaping and number of other services (coping, air conditioning relocation, stonework, turf down the sides...) that made for an exceptional finished product. I had called several companies for quotes. I called premiere and within 15 minutes Joey returned my call and was at the house that same day. I told him what my vision was, he took measurements and we set up an appointment to go to the showroom. He got my vision absolutely right. HE LISTENED. We picked colors and product and I was impressed with the final price. I was told 14 to 16 weeks from start to completion and they were done in 11 weeks. All the contractors were amazing. The project manager George was always available by text or phone and answered questions as they came up. Joey was also available and amazing as well.
