I was advised to add my classes every day and get dropped by financial aid until the financial aid was processed at the school. I woke up this morning and every class that I need for this semester is waitlisted with the exception of one three Credit class. I initially had 13 units I was taking that I need. This only sets me back six months. Every time I've ever tried to register at this college it's been next to impossible. I've attended colleges in other cities and counties, and they were much nicer and much easier to attend. This is the third time it's happened to me so it sent me back a year and a half total. It feels like an uphill battle trying to get any sort of education from this college. I'm constantly forced to just take whatever class is available if I want to attend and I need my actual prerequisites and things necessary for my education goal. There are no other sections available. I've never heard of a college that has one section available for multiple classes. If you can go anywhere but here. Thank you so much MSJC. Something that takes six months at another will take you years with this college. This place is probably the worst college to ever have existed!!!!!!!!!!!

Before heading to a university, I went to MSJC and they were awesome! I love that MSJC is community-based and is welcoming to all walks of life. I recommend their history and English department! The counselors are on top of things and they try to get you into a class asap. The campus is pretty clean and they have great breakfast burritos at the cafe! I would also suggest going to the library, I love the tutoring center!, it was so helpful! The school is very accessible and the RTA bus arrives every 30ish minutes

Started with a slap to the back of the head. Within a week he was being held down by two boys while the third boy punched him in the face, stomach and kick in the nuts. I personally handed over the antibullying forms to the district which they "have no record of". The second time I filled out the anti bully form I requested the secretary to sign that I gave this to her and she refused. They have no record of that either. Finally I picked up my son and his whole face was red. His bullies were stomping his head. I received no phone call or anything. Urgent care visit confirmed concussion and broken ribs. School then began retaliating against my son. VP called me 6x in a two week period for things like "making fart noises in class". She called and punished my son over the most ridiculous things. If that's not retaliation I don't know what is. This whole district is a joke.

At the time i was going to nursing school and had crazy hours and i could take my 3 kids at 5 am (they all went to different schools) and i would drop them off they would go back to bed. she would get them uo they would dress she took them to schooll picked them all up (different times each one) and give thwm a healthy snack and lunch for the little one who was in kindergarten. when i started working as a nurse if i had a long day and they would be there after 5 she even fed them dinner. Her facility is the bottom story of her house, its very clean and well kept, it has a learning area, play area, inside and out, napping area with cots and quite time if other babies were napping if your kids dont nap, she is realiable and very thorough. They alway have fun times and games, her husband as even teaching my kids some spanish and they loved every little bit of it. I would recommend her to anyone.

Our family has really enjoyed participating in this event. The front office who organizes it does such a great job. There's fun lawn games to play with your student and great music playing. I'm 22 years old and I was once a student at Valle Vista. I used to love school and be really good…read moreat it and many previous teachers saw so much potential in me. That was until I had Mrs. Mason. She was my fourth grade home teacher and she made my last two years here a living hell for a 9/10 year old. It started when she threw an item which hit me directly in the eye and I had to see a school nurse. I don't remember much but I remember even more punishment followed. I told my parents what had happened after school that day and what followed that was even worse. My parents tried to push a law suit. My eye was bruised for a few days afterward. The law suit failed but during the battle, I was harassed all up into my fifth grade year. I wasn't allowed out for recess, had to sit on the "red dots" the whole time. I would be held in to redo tests that I finished. I was constantly in trouble and I gave up in school. Completely. Fifth grade I was fortunate to be placed into Mr. Van Zee's class but because of what was going on with Mrs. Mason I was pulled from his class and placed in Mrs. Mclambs class who was in turn very close to Mrs. Mason. The same treatment continued and as the suit kept on, so did the harassment. Mason would follow me out to the place I would wait for my mom to pick me up after school and have snide comments that ended with "are you going to go tell that to your mom now or what?". What teacher says this to a 9/10 year old? Traumatic. That whole entire experience was horrible. The suit never saw to the end because of personal things that came up that needed to be handled but the worst part is this effected my future school performance through high school. I hated teachers and performed very poorly. It's now that I'm in college I can find the motivation and trust to be able to feel like I can do well in school. I'm 22 years old and this happened about 12 years ago which still haunts me and angers me to this day. This is all I've ever wanted to say. Thanks for reading.

I have mostly just dealt with Ms fuller and the nurse but they have honestly made my experience there wonderful. My son has been out sick and they have helped and care for my child beyond what I ever expected. If you want a small school, we're they actually care about you and your child, go here. Also my child is excelling in his education. He's excited to learn and begs to go back to school on the weekends. If I could say anything negative it would be about attendance. Saturday school is fun for the kids but they need to teach more educational material and teach what the student actually missed in class not just show a movie. My son who loves ms Fuller's class isn't too fond of Saturday school. Please do something more about that.
