I originally wrote my review earlier in the program, and things have since taken a negative turn. The owners became very strict with my cohort and displayed discriminatory behavior towards the rest of the class, who were Mexican, while I was the only white person. It was evident through body language and the instructors' tone that they had issues with everyone. Three students struggled to understand the material, and I ended up helping them on my own time, which shows they were afraid to ask for help. The class faced constant reprimands about punctuality, despite the clinic having poor parking, requiring us to park far away. Jacklyn, the owner's wife, often argued with her husband, Joe, during clinical sessions, making the environment toxic and frustrating. It was clear our cohort, although only eight people, was not liked. For instance, we didn't receive any congratulations or farewell party, unlike other cohorts. I'm not saying we need one to feel validated but why are you going to tell us that's what other classes have gotten and post pictures if you're not going to do it for everyone?! While the education provided is decent, they charge excessively for every little thing. I would have preferred a place that wasn't focused solely on profit, cared about students, and supported their success. Recently, I reached out about renewing my AHA BLS card, which I had when I started since I was already in the medical field. The owners had told me I could get a replacement when it expired in 2025, as it was included in my tuition. However, despite multiple calls and emails, I received no response. It's not surprising, but disappointing that this is still their way of dealing with students. Credit should be given when due, and it's unfortunate they don't treat you well, even when you bring them business. My advice is to save your money and look elsewhere, especially if you have a skin tone darker than white. read more

After I read the owners AI generated, nasty retaliatory response which was very predictable that never answered my original question I would strongly suggest that no one would ever consider having anything to do with this place and look elsewhere. If they train their employees and the people who take their calls the same way they train their students then that is all anyone needs to know about them. read more

3.5/5 The reviews on the school made me chose it for my CNA certification. Although, Just recently the owners started having other people teach their courses. I was taught by Roxy , it was her first time teaching but she made the class informative and not boring! The con of this program was that the schedule would be constantly changing, it was very frustrating for us as students to find out last minute our exams were canceled or clinical days would be postponed. Roxy would do her best to prepare us for what the schedule was for the weekend (I took the 12 day weekend class). But out of her control, the owners would tell us last minute if there was a quiz, or change up the schedule. Also trying to communicate with them was impossible. Myself and other classmates all spoke how our questions would go unanswered or take weeks to email us back...very frustrating. Sometimes we'd email the owners and get left on read. The owners seem to not care for their students anymore. No study sessions or extra guide was given for the state exam after we asked. Overall, the program was the cheapest in terms of tuition but unprofessional as they didn't stick to the schedule, didn't reply to our emails and had to push back our end date. read more

I registered online to reserve a seat for $175 to start class in July. I had paid the registration in February or March of this year. Anyway,i read the refund policy and it said if the student doesn't show up for the orientation, you will not get a refund back. HOWEVER I WENT TO THE ORIENTATION. AND THEY are refusing to refund me my registration fee when I havent even started class yet.! It's still April and class isn't until Mid July! How is that ethical? Communication is bad also. There's only 2 instructors so I hope you guys get the education you guys deserve. They aren't affiliated with as much hospitals and they don't promise job replacement. I Highly Recommend procareer Academy for a WAY lower tuition and NO REGISTRATION fee and job placement is guaranteed according to a friend who went there. Its in Whittier. Stay away from this school. They are quick to take your money but have every excuse in the book to not give your money back. Check out the vibe first and see IF u like the school. CPTC is the best! I was lucky enough to snag a last minute spot for the IV class and was so glad I did. They run some specials on their IG so be sure to follow them. The class itself was very efficient, informative, and fun! I took this IV class the weekend before I started my RN new grad program and the confidence it gave me to be able to practice on a real life person was very beneficial to my practice. I am beyond glad I found CPTC on Instagram. If you're anything like me, anxiety is my roommate and being able to see what the class looked like helped me in knowing what to expect. Also smaller classes meant I could get the help I needed from the instructor (Jaclyn!!) and my peers. I took the IV training class today. I'm a student at another school, but felt I needed extra practice with IVs. It was an extremely enjoyable learning environment. Skills labs can feel intimidating, but the instructors are so kind and welcoming that I was able to purely focus on improving my technique. I was able to get two IVs! They also taught all of the tips and tricks that you don't get taught in school. I feel confident I can utilize the skills I learned today in future practice.
