This "school" is a borderline scam. The main staff are extremely disinterested in the students goals and concerns and seem to be primarily seems out to rake in in as much money as possible. The schedule doesn't work for anyone besides the teacher and is almost completely random.You will not be able to work or plan anything due to the teacher deciding you will just have to randomly come to class for the entire day. The majority of the lesson plan devolves to the students reading from a book and attending clinic hours. There is virtually no reason to have staff besides administering tests. The school attempts to strip you of your autonomy and I'm surprised this place is still operating. This is a classic tale of "you get what you pay for". If you're looking for a nursing school that really would care for you and not just your money, this is the school i would recommend over and over again to friends and family where you'll get your money's worth and learn a lot of things not just in school, clinicals, but in life as well. i've been a student of one brand name school before but how they teach here in SSKI is very different, my previous school they would only give you packets and very little information in what's in there, but here in SSKI they teach us how to study word by word in the bookk in order for us to know everything we need for and be prepared for NCLEX starting from day one. Owner of this school is very humble, respectful and don't treat you any less just cause you're a student. Ms.Vijay treats everyone like family. there are times that i don't even believe in myself and wanted to give up but when i remember the words Ms.Vijay used to tell me, that's when i start believing in myself too. No doubt she would help you get through the program it doesn't matter if you're not smart in theory, she can help you. you're not good in Clinicals, she will show you the way on how to do it. just be a good listener and hard worker and she'll help you through all of it. Ms.Edel one of my instructor, at first you will think that she is scary and mean by the way she talks to us on how to and to always study, but in the end i realize that all what she does is for us students. it's just like a second teenager phase for me with her cause i see her like a mother that tells you to do this and that back when i was a teen and you don't want to listen but in the end you will realize everything they do and they say is all for you and your success. i'm very thankful that i transferred here everything was worth it and not only you learn a lot but you get a second set of family too that cares and will guide you all throughout the program. just be dedicated and for sure all of the people here will help you and would love to help you. read more
