They definitely hold students to high standards--especially when it comes to dress code, appearance, and cell phone use (phones are not allowed in class or the hallways). That said, the program itself is challenging, but completely doable if you're committed. Just know that they won't hold your hand every step of the way--you really have to advocate for yourself, ask for help when needed, and stay engaged. I'm about to start Term 3 and will be sure to come back and share an update on my experience! Soooooo I graduated and am a LVN now ! Can say it was a challenge but huge shout out to Miss Adrienne she really shows up for you in term 3 A,B, CD when you work for it. Recommend this school to any one who is READY to commit 110% !

Just know that it's based on you. you won't have much help outside of that Ms Adrienne was very helpful, when times I doubted myself, she reminded me I could do it and she's very helpful during exit prep. She's smart so listen to the advice she gives you even if you think it doesn't apply to you . I passed both my exit exams! I didn't wanna take my nclex so fast but ms Adrienne pushed me and if it wasn't for her i might've waited weeks or months. Melanie ( who works for student affairs ) sent my paperwork off the very next day! we graduated Friday and i was scheduled for nclex a week after graduation and I did pass! I want to thank Melanie for being so fast in scheduling my nclex but also for the school being so fast in paying for my license! I am now officially a nurse. when it seems you can't do it and you don't have any motivation do not give up!

They were respectful, attentive to patients, and proactive in assisting staff within their scope. Overall, they represented their school well and showed great potential as future nurses. Special thanks to Instructor Jojo Reyes for excellent guidance and support.

The OTA program truly pushed me to grow, both academically and professionally. The curriculum is…read morefast-paced and can be challenging, but it really prepares you for real-world clinical settings and the board exam. A huge shoutout to our program director, Dr. Vu, who went above and beyond to make sure we were prepared for the NBCOT. You can tell she genuinely cares about her students' success and puts in the effort to guide and support everyone throughout the program. All of my professors also played a big role in my journey. Professor Estoque had this really warm, motherly/older sister kind of energy that made you feel supported and comfortable, especially during stressful times. Professor Hintay had a calm and steady presence that made the class feel grounded. She explained things clearly and helped break down more complex topics in a way that felt manageable. Dr. Lim was kind but pushed us to really understand the material on a deeper level, which made a big difference in our learning. Professor Oh was newer to the program, but you could really see the effort he put into improving and growing as an instructor. Professor Son was fun and funny but she also challenged us in a good way. She held us to a high standard, but it ultimately helped us become more confident and prepared. She took on both roles as our instructor and fieldwork coordinator, and she handled both incredibly well. She was organized, supportive, and played a big role in helping us transition into our clinical experiences. All the professors were knowledgeable, supportive, and always willing to help when things got tough. You can really feel that they want you to succeed, not just pass. One of the best parts of my experience was the friendships I made and the extra activities we got to be a part of. Whether it was volunteering or just participating in school events, those moments made everything more fun and created memories I'll always carry with me. Overall, I'm grateful for my experience at ACC. Going back to school was one of the best decisions I made, and I feel confident stepping into my career as a COTA because of the foundation I built here.

I am very thankful to this school. About me before I started this LVN program I have a bachelor's…read moredegree in a field I never used and worked in real estate sales for 18 years. I also earned my AA degree from a junior college, so I was already familiar with being in school and taking state exams. While attending this school, I worked as a notary notarizing loan documents, which gave me the flexibility to support myself during the program. The truth is that I have had a passion for nursing since junior college. Although Nursing is an intimidating career, I could not ignore the feeling that it was calling me. I entered the program one month after it had already started, which made the beginning very challenging. I barely slept at first, but once I adjusted to the pace, it became manageable. If you stay focused and put in the time & work, you will graduate. You must study, read the required material, and follow your instructors' guidance. At the time, our exam preparation for the NCLEX was through ATI. I graduated from the 21-month LVN program in July 2021. I was a COVID-era student, and although hospital clinicals were limited, we still attended clinicals when allowed. I completed several days at a local community hospital in Norwalk. Since graduating, I passed the NCLEX on the 1st try and have done well with my LVN license. I worked in a hospital for about 8 months but realized it was not the best fit for me because I wanted to help my patients more quickly without waiting for RN's to push IV meds. I now work at different rehabilitation healthcare centers (nursing homes) and sub Acute, which I enjoy. Overall, this school helped me take my first steps as an LVN, and I plan to pursue my RN in the future. I recommend this school to anyone willing to stay disciplined, prioritize studying, read their books, watch learning videos, and support their cohort. If you truly commit, you can succeed. Good luck to everyone reading this, and may God bless you on your journey to becoming a nurse.

The teaching staff is very knowledgeable, can be strict, but one appreciates it once you are taking the ncelx exam. This school works with you and its up to you to put in the work at home, if you put in at least 2 hours of study for every 1 of class, you will breeze through it. The ATI program we used is very helpful, master it and use it often. If you treat people with respect they will treat you with respect, that's everywhere.. I am putting my son through this program as soon as he's out of high school.

As mentioned from my photo posted, it's not much to look at in terms of aesthetics. The building in itself is only 2 floors & it looks like it's built in the 1970's because it appears it has that original yellow green paint from that era. But in all honesty, what matters is what is being offered. It's a small class of only 6 students (could accommodate up to 10) in a small classroom. Nicole, our instructor is a Respiratory Therapist by trade & is confident & knowledgeable in her teaching the class. No muss no fuss. Its STRESS FREE---entirely the reason I opted to elect this place instead of taking it at my job site. It is not economically sound but I value my comfort over anxiety if I am to do recertification every 2 years! We were shown videos/instructions in addition to her teaching & the CPR dummies are provided for demonstration & we paired up to demonstrate skills. It was performed at ease & it is what I appreciated. Most importantly, Nicole made herself available for questions & clarifications with the post test--thank goodness. Once again, easy-peasy lemon squeezey, loved this portion! Will definitely return & recommend this site. *****CAUTION****** **NOT HANDICAP ACCESSIBLE** I had to take the stairs with my bum knee (LOL). Hey it was okay, I just took my time. Used to take it in Long Beach (991 Medical) for convenience & closer to home but in comparison this place, Elite ROCKS! Really glad & very satisfied I tried it here. Will retrieve my cards by the end of the day via email. So far the (high) price paid is looking like it's worth it ($240 combo ACLS/BLS).
