Went online to find a company to fix my window screen and was directed to Angie's. Sean was the first to respond. He asked a few questions about the project- it was a very large living room screen that was barely holding on . He gave me a quote and had an appointment the next day. The next day he text that he had a cancelation and he could come by early which worked out fine. He arrived on time. I showed him the screen and another screen I needed done but because I am a senior on a fixed income I wasn't sure I could afford it. He broke down the cost and I found it would be "much" more affordable for me to have them both done at the same time. Sean is very kind and loved my barky dogs who just wanted attention. He was professional and had the job done in 30 minutes . My screens look gorgeous I am so happy the job he did! read more

I had our patio door re-screened by California Screen Company and I couldn't be happier with the results. The work was done quickly and professionally and the new screen looks great. Shaniko was friendly, courteous and paid attention to the details. Also, the price was very reasonable, especially considering the quality of the work. I would definitely recommend Shaniko's company to anyone needing screen repair or replacement! read more

What an amazing company and even better person in Shaniko! The company has completed work for me in the past and they were my go to when I needed to have a new screen door installed and a couple screens replaced on some existing doors and windows. Professional, punctual, friendly, informative, and the list goes on. Shaniko does amazing work and goes the extra mile for his customers. One of my doors needed to have a couple extra screws replaced and he was able to complete that without even asking. His attention to detail and workmanship are second to none and I would highly recommend him and the company for any work that needs to be done. Very reasonable prices with fast and efficient service. read more

I have used Shan before, and because of my prior experience I called him again. Shan does great work! My dogs continue to damage my screens. My home is scheduled to be remodeled so I explained to Shan I needed a short term fix. He listened and gave me my options. I love that he is mobile so he completes all the repairs from his mobile work station. No need to wait! He's quick and efficient. Highly recommend! read more

Great experience all the way along. Good value, good people, and we were very pleased with the work. Can't recommend enough!

Great Experience! I am very satisfied with the work done at my home. I had a wood screen door with two panels of screen and two sliding screen doors all needing new screens. Work was done perfectly! Reasonably priced, on time, respectful, informative and courteous. The appointment was made through text which was easiest for me. If you need new fresh screens, call or text Shawn. So happy I got it done. Screens make a difference, they matter :) read more

I had 6 large windows that needed to be screened. My home is 1941 vintage and has its idiosyncrasies. Shan found a way to create custom fit screens that look amazing. He is a craftsman indeed! This was a real upgrade to my place. Thank you, Shan! read more

Shawn repaired my 15 year old patio screen door mesh. He arrived a little early and took care of business within 40 minutes. Not only did the repair come out great, he adjusted the rollers so it opens and closes much more smoothly now. He was also good about explaining how to make future adjustments if needed. Shawn was courteous, masked, and very efficient. The price was very competitive to boot. I wouldn't hesitate to call these guys again if I ever needed another screen repair. read more

We had a bunch of screen doors and old window screens that needed either replacement or repair. We shopped a bunch of screen repair companies and finally went with California Screen company since they had the most competitive quote AND they agreed to finish the job on the spot, on site. A lot of the other companies required you to drop off the screens and would have taken them 2 weeks to fix them. Sean, the owner, came to do the job, wearing mask and adequately distancing. He finished re-screening 4 large screen doors, 3 windows and installed 3 new window screens all in about 4 hours. Very happy with the work! Best of wishes. read more

Excellent, competitive price, plus they had my frame color in stock (almond? Bisque?). I love the after hours drop off and pickup feature; very convenient for us folks who are super busy around the clock. After getting my two screens home (which I measured myself), I had to have one adjusted to be 1/8" narrower, which they did free of charge. You will not be disappointed by putting your project in their hands! read more

just about the handiest business anywhere. Had an older home with a cat damaged screen door and 2 other missing and damaged screens. Didn't have time to load them up and take them to a screen shop, if they still exist. Called and made an appointment last week for this week and everything went perfectly. Friendly, on time and second to none workmanship. Thanks so much... read more

So glad I came across Shan's business. Purchased a screen door which felt sturdier, better quality than the big box local warehouse, reasonable cost w/his installation too. Shan came out in advance to ensure the measurements were accurate as well. Also had him remesh a sliding screen door. Will definitely contact him again! read more

Shaniko is one of those rare finds that don't come along all too often. He is honest, reliable, and truly cares about his customers and quality of work. He installed the screen on my back sliding doora couple years ago and did an A+ job. It is a high quality, solid screen and is still in mint condition. Shaniko came out today to check the rest of my window screens about my house and could not have been nicer and honest. I will be recommending him to my friends and family and will be a lifelong customer. Thank you Shaniko!! read more

Very prompt, great service. Repaired the insect screen, noticed they were installed upside down in the first place, corrected the problem, lubricated both doors. Both are working great now, and the mesh is a matching color. read more

We had California Screen replace all the screens on our house. In many cases, the frames were deteriorated, broken, or just completely missing, and replacements were fabricated on-site. Pricing is a la carte, so it's very easy to estimate cost based on what you need repaired. An extremely high standard of care was apparent in the work, in many cases tuning to address the fact that our home has settled over the years, so things don't fit quite the same way as they originally did. Could not be more pleased with the results; I think this is a great company to deal with. Highly recommended. read more

Shawn did a great job! I needed five window screens repaired because the prior owner (or perhaps the window cleaners) had damaged them when removing them. Shawn rebuilt the screens, salvaging the parts that could be saved, and replacing the parts that couldn't. The new screens look fantastic, and the final price actually came in LOWER than the bid! Also, Shawn provides a mobile service, which means that he did all the work in his truck just outside my house. So, rather than spending time taking the screens somewhere else, waiting a week for them to be rebuilt, and then going back there to pick them up, the whole thing was done in two hours. Very happy customer! read more

I had a appointment to drop off my sliding screen door for rescreening at 9:00am yesterday. He looked at and said would you like to wait for it to which I said sure. He did a great job on the screen replacement and also found a defective plastic roller which he replaced for a small amount more My experience with him from the initial phone call to going to his shop was excellent - I am glad I found him and he is also closer to my home than another company that I have used in the past read more

I 100% would recommend this screen company. I began by emailing them for pricing. Shaniko responded the same day and answered all my questions. They offer a convenient drop box so that we can just drop the screens off at our convenience. Shaniko hung around and waited for me once he knew I was on my way. The drop off was super easy! He kept me in the loop with any delays and kindly offered to drop them off for us since there was a delay in material delivery (not their fault). All of them were delivered today and look great! We had some that were repaired and most that needed to be replaced but all came back looking brand new!! I am so thankful for such an easy and great experience!! read more

We needed two window screens fixed or redone before we move out of our house. Sean had left a message several weeks back but I hadn't been able to get to it. But when I did I called him and arranged for him to come to our location. He quoted a price, and he came at the designated time - he was even early. He looked at my damage screens. He looked at the windows that they would go on and then he went at it. Took him 30 maybe 35 minutes. The quoted price stayed the same as the final price. The window screens were of high quality and fit perfectly, not even our cats can break through. Very appreciative of his work quality and ethic. Very courteous and respectful. We will certainly use him again. Great job Sean. Thank you. read more

I called them and requested a quote for two screens on Monday morning and got a response after an hour or two. Shawn (forgive me if I spelled your name wrong) called me regarding his availability and told me that he'd be free from the afternoon and told me he can come in at around 1PM. He gets here at 1:02 PM, told me that the old screen frames I had were perfectly fine and only needed to replace the screens. Then told me that he'd come back in with the finished screens after 30 minutes to install them and what do you know, he comes in after 20 minutes or so and installs them very quickly with care. Very friendly man with amazing skills and on-time! Will definitely come back when needed! Thank you so much! read more

We had a small job, but he still performed a flawless repair to an old screen door of ours. Best of all, we were able to drop it off and pick it up after hours, so we didn't have to rearrange our schedule to have it done. We needed to replace a shredded screen with "pet resistant" mesh that our cats couldn't claw up. So far so good, as we've had it for a week without any damage. read more

Shan was very helpful both on the phone and in person. Had him come out to see if I could get away with some new screen material and lube up the wheels rather than replace the entire door. He was able to get the old sliding screen door re-screened and working well and in about an hour. Will definitely be calling him again when needed. read more

This review is long overdue. The owner came a few months after the start of the pandemic. We bought a new house and for some odd reason, only two of the windows had screens. We were so hot but did not want to open the windows, in case some critter managed to get in. I called different places and not only were the screens very reasonably priced, but the owner was very knowledgeable and professional. Thank you! read more

I love to use local shops and chose California Screen for my new door. The owner was terrific and went out of his way to obtain a special size that could accommodate a cat door. All appointments with him were kept and service was fast and professional. The result was exactly what I needed. Now if I could just get through to the cat to understand how the flap works ... I can't recommend this company enough. Great job, great prices, great quality. Give them a try! read more

I needed to have a sliding screen door re-screened and California Screen Company was the only company among three that returned my call promptly. The owner, Sean, gave me a quote over the phone, and he made it easy to make an appointment for me to bring my screen to his shop, instead of my paying extra for an on-site repair. Sean re-screened my door while I watched in his shop and I was back home with the newly screened door in place within 90 minutes of when I first left home. It was one of the most pleasant experiences I've had with a service company in a long time. I highly recommend California Screen Co and Sean. Top notch service at a very reasonable price. Quite simple. This business is A+. I need 3 re-screens. I called around and left a few V-mails. Sean responded promptly, gave me a very clear quote over email, and explained the policies. I removed the screens myself, drove over to his offices and dropped them off. They were done the same day, but I picked up the next day.
