That being said, this is a wonderful facility, and as far as I can tell the instructors are no less than fantastic. The facility is very clean and well kept, and you can tell that the horses enjoy their set ups as well. The arena is pretty substantial in size as far as I can tell (I don't have much of a basis for comparison but I mean... you wouldn't catch me walking a lap in there on foot), and given how few equestrian centers there are around here, they are very fair in price. Also, they mean what they say when they offer lessons for folks of all ages. As someone who hopes to have a small ranch of my own in the future, I also find it lovely that they let you take care of your horse a bit as well. After all, at the end of the day, you aren't just riding a 'thing'. You are bonding with a creature that is a tremendous responsibility and needs to be cared for like family. They love these horses, and these horses clearly love them back. I definitely recommend this place, and I look forward to more lessons in the future.

It is nice and smooth so even my son with his small bike with training wheels was able to make it. It can get dusty of course, but after a light rain it is perfect. It is a straight line and you will see other people walking. A lot of people from Jess Ranch come here so they are older. Don't go too far if you don't want to walk all the way back. There are no cars allowed so you wont have to worry about your kids getting hit if they get ahead of you. Of course people use the riverbed for off-road use and who wouldn't. My kids love riding their quads out here because we live close to the riverbed. I always see people with their jeeps and side by sides. There are a lot of trails leading from the houses to the riverbed so you can tell who comes out here a lot. we have never been messed with by the police but we always have helmets and are a block from our house. It is a do at your own risk kind of thing.

According to AllTrails the hike is called Metate Trail and is approximately 2 miles of fairly flat trails. There are many different trails that links to this so you can extend your hike and go a totally different way. The Indian Rock Camp is only about 1/4 mile into the trail if you take the entrance on the left that says "interpretative." Once you get to the sign you will need to explore the hill for the Rock Camp. Our kids had a blast exploring and looking for acorns to play with. There is also a small hut for the kids to explore. Further down the trail is a small creek and lots more trail to explore. We saw signs of a large herd of deer so if you are quiet you maybe in for a surprise.

I had already replaced and tested several parts myself, but the boat still wouldn't run right. Richie took the time to properly diagnose the problem instead of just throwing parts at it. He found that the fuel pump was the main issue, replaced it along with the spark plugs, and got the boat running like it should. The engine now pulls hard, runs flawlessly, and got me through an entire weekend in Laughlin without a single issue. Richie was honest, knowledgeable, and communicated with me throughout the repair. He treated me right, got the job done quickly, and charged a fair price. It's hard to find a mechanic you can truly trust, but I won't be taking my boat anywhere else.
