I unfortunately forgot the captain's name, but he was fantastic--very entertaining, informative, friendly, and clearly an experienced boat operator. He shared interesting facts about the lake and surrounding area while making the ride fun for everyone on board. One thing I really appreciated was that dogs were welcome at no extra charge, which made the trip even better for me and my furry companions. The marina also provided blankets, which was a thoughtful touch and added to the comfort of the ride. The scenery was beautiful, the boat was well-operated, and the entire excursion was pleasant from start to finish. We decided on Elsinore based off the reviews for the lake as well as the ability to reserve our jet skis online. Reserving was easy, 5 minutes, got our email confirmation and we were set. Garrett and Albert met us at the entrance/clubhouse and they showed us where to go from there. Met them at the loading dock area, shared some local stories, showed us the dos and do nots and we were off. Jet skis were a blast, no issues, we touched 55 mph a few times. This was my first time driving a jet ski and had no trouble getting the hang of it. SO much fun. The lake was empty before noon on a Monday but got a bit busier and choppier around 1. The views were great, some wildlife, and we will definitely return and would recommend. Five stars!

We did a 3 hour charter with 6 people. We first did the Zup board, which was a great introduction & had lots of different things you could do with it. I offered the guy info to look into it but he didn't want to be bothered. Even paper ski masks to help keep out the dust! That was a very nice and unexpected touch. I was a bit nervous after reading some of the reviews about getting the waivers done. But it's not hard. I've worked in IT help desks for years so I know some people are just not good with a computer. That's fine. Just read the instructions carefully and you'll get thru. Or just get help from a teenager. :-) To get to this location they give you very good directions. If you follow them you'll have no issues. It's actually very easy! But GPS is not great for the less traveled roads in the mountains going to a place that doesn't really have a street address. We will be going back soon! Hopefully for 2 hours next time!
