She made me feel so comfortable since the first call, she told me "don't worry I'll fix this mess" A few days later I went to her home, we sat down and looked into every detail of the lettering, she wanted to make sure she got everything right, so professional !! She made sure everyone could write whatever letter we were on before moving on to the next set of letters. I loved that she went one on one with everyone to make sure we got it down and to answer any questions we had. She showed us how to write the letter if we didn't quite get it and gave us extra paper to practice for after as well. It was great we got to practice writing an envelope address which was fun and to see how much we learned that day. I have been wanting to learn calligraphy for quite some time but was always intimidated by it. All my fears have left and I am ready to just practice practice practice. Karen provides a unique calligraphy pen and a folder of everything you need to practice all your lettering at home after her class. For 3 hours we practice all the different letters in upper, lower case letters and numbers. I love the intimacy of her classes and how she is able to help you with your calligraphy and also gives you tips to improve. At the end of class we practice everything we have learned on an envelope.
