Best espresso in town.... Hands down the best.... The intention in every drink. The details... The flavor...

    Iced Lucky Strike (latte)

So happy they have a space for the winter at Land Grants extension! Parking was easy on the street and there were only a couple people in line ahead of me. I tried the Lucky Strike, iced with espresso instead of matcha. It had a great orange flavor and reminded of the Christmas chocolate oranges! My husband tried a hot Mo lasso and also really enjoyed the spiced syrup. I highly recommend following them on instagram to see their specials and other pop up locations!

I really enjoyed the "Dust Devil" latte I had which was essentially a churro latte. The pop up I went to was in the Columbus Children's Theater parking lot which was a bit difficult to navigate from a parking standpoint. I do believe that the latte was about $8.00 so pretty steep pricing. I think I'd go back!

I've been following this coffee cart for months and finally got to try them out at a market on Saturday. The cart setup is adorable. The little midwestern vibes are on point. There was a pretty long line, but it moved quickly! Well worth the wait because my coffee was delicious. I ordered an iced salted vanilla latte. I have never tried matcha, but I was super close to trying it here because it looked SO GOOD. I will definitely continue tracking them down and maybe try matcha in the future!

Looks and taste good! Not too sweet and nice espresso. Pop up coffee cart at land grant brewing.

pony boy latte - espresso with milk and ube cloud

I am so excited about this coffee cart! I discovered them on Instagram, and they started out super close to where I live! I was able to see them at a pop up a few weeks ago, and it seemed like everyone was there for the coffee! The line was well worth the wait. I got the Pony Boy latte because I am obsessed with all things ube. I was worried about the flavor only being in the foam, because I prefer a sweeter coffee. Fortunately, I really enjoyed my drink without all the sweetness! The espresso is very mellow and mild, which is perfect for a girl like me. I need to come back and try their Cowboy Latte, and their seasonal drinks.

Cowboy latte + Red Rider Matcha

If you haven't tried Callin' Your Bluff Coffee this is your PSA to do so. I headed over to the craft festival this weekend to catch them over at Dye Mad Yarns. I got their cowboy latte. This drink consists of espresso, milk, maple syrup, and smoked sea salt. I wasn't interested in the pony boy this time around which is espresso (or matcha), milk, agave, and ube cloud. Luckily, I had the wonderful idea to add ube cloud to my cowboy latte, and that was the right choice. Shoutout to the owners, Kylie and Molly, who are so sweet and personable! Excited for what they have in store for fall/winter! One more thing, my friend absolutely loved her matcha and said it wasn't overly sweet. I also absolutely love how they reuse empty oat milk cartons as cup holders -- talk about sustainability!

. I know they started out as a pop-up, but their semi-permanent location behind Land Grant is great, and I hope it becomes permanent

To put…read moreit in their own words, "Every 8 weeks, TENSPACE opens a free, unticketed, and immersive experience where you can get to know an online brand in real life. TENSPACE is located in the heart of the midwest, Columbus, Ohio, and is open Wednesday - Sunday and also offers ticketed experiences during each brand's experience." Essentially, a company pays TENSPACE to host a marketing event at the space for 8 weeks. When I stopped in, they were working with Olipop (a health-focused soda company). It looks like they've done partnerships with Ban.do and other companies in the past. (I'm actually sad I missed the Ban.do one.) TENSPACE, at least for the Olipop pop-up, really is marketing done *right*. I walked into this beautifully-decorated, open space that was all about the brand. As the representative explained, everything about the space was specifically curated in partnership with the brand to help you experience what the brand's about. For Olipop, they were looking for the feeling of summer relaxation and fun with people you care about, so the space was decorated in fun, bright colors with a faux soda bar, cornhole, a picnic table, and more. It's hard to really explain how beautifully curated it all is, honestly. It's overwhelming at first glance, but as you settle in, you really notice the attention to details - like the branding on the Connect Four board, the wall that encouraged you to think back to your favorite flavors and what memories they inspired, or even the flavor descriptions that were on the bags for the Cornhole game. There's just so much everywhere. Marketing amazement aside, it's just a really, really fun experience. It's like being temporarily teleported to another world where you're encouraged to just hang out and be in the space. With minimal things to buy (just two things for Olipop - a sampler pack of soda or a tote bag), the focus isn't really on purchasing. It's all about experiencing the different aspects of the brand - and leaving with a positive feeling about the brand. As a customer, TENSPACE offers (at least during the Olipop experience): -An immersive experience that feels a bit like a wonderland you're encouraged to explore -Air conditioning - which while walking Short North in the summer is worth its weight in gold -A free tasting bar you can walk in and try all of the Olipop flavors -Vote for your favorite Olipop flavor and get a free can to walk out with too -Games you're encouraged to play and experience with those you're with -SO many backgrounds and inspiration for selfies. A soda bar. A faux outdoor area with picnic table. Gigantic straws. Bubbles everywhere. "Scented" dressing rooms filled with props that encourage selfies. This is, of course, if you happen in on a random day. They also have ticketed events and partnerships (like crafting your own popsicles or yoga pop-ups) that integrate the brand into crafted experiences too. And again, it's all extra-magical because there just isn't a pressure to buy anything. The staff is running the tasting bar, and you're free to explore every inch without the pressure to leave after purchasing. Really, I'm beyond ecstatic about TENSPACE, and I'm likely coming back every two months to see what immaculate partnership they've put together next.

I don't think they're original, I was expecting sweaters that had been decorated and then placed for sale, which I think would have been more interesting. I also don't think they're tacky or ugly...they're not far off from things I watched my grandma wear for Christmas growing up, and I loved my grandma, and never found her tacky. I think they could be described as items for the "older" crowd (50-60+) at best. Being old doesn't make you tacky or your sweater ugly. If you're looking for a pre-made sweater for a party, this might work for you, but it's not going to work in a situation where people are expecting you to make your own.

Anyway, don't do like I did and waste your time, energy, and gas crisscrossing Columbus looking for sweaters, Christmisc has them all. I consider the prices ridiculously high, but in hindsight the cost would have balanced out after driving all over the city searching for a bargain. The store is neat and organised with several racks of sweaters in all sizes and colors. It's a seasonal pop up store, so I'm not sure when they open. I had to do a serious internet search to find this place, the address was actually incorrect, luckily the location is right across the walkway. For my next ugly sweater party, this will be my first stop!
