My visit to the Italian Village location had highs and lows. It can get no higher than their Tomato Tart. I don't even like tomatoes like that, but this version was eye popping good. The flaky tart was great, and they seasoned the tomatoes to perfection. Even after inhaling one of them in a single bite, the tomato remnants on the base of the tart still delivered outstanding flavor. The Danish submerged in Everything seasoning with chive cream cheese was a good wingman for the Tart. Definitely was a flavor bomb of sodium if you like your food salty. The low came from the much heralded Souffléd Egg Sandwich. Ignorance was not bliss for me as the dish did not include the bacon that it was supposed to have... but I didn't know that it was supposed to have bacon until my wife told me after I ate it. It was definitely the missing ingredient, literally and figuratively, because the rest of the dish couldn't justify the hype. This place is easily one of the best spots in town. Every time I've talked about it with people, almost everyone has said it's their favorite breakfast sandwich in the city, I completely agree. Lately, my go-to combo has been a breakfast sandwich followed by a pastry for dessert (sharing optional, lol). I've only been on weekends, and it's always packed. There's usually a 5-10 minute line just to order, and if you're getting a custom drink, expect to wait another five minutes or so. I can typically find a seat, but it can definitely be a bit of a struggle. These aren't deterrents, just good to be aware of. Fox in the Snow is a great daytime spot to meet up with someone. I got the Iced Chai and the Egg Sandwich, Chai had a very strong cinnamon flavor, definitely overpowered the rest of the spices. The Egg Sandwich tastes like if I took a bottle of mustard and poured it into my mouth. I like mustard too, just way too much. I will say we had our coffee in less than five minutes and our food in leas than 10 and there were ALOT of people there. My latte was good but not very strong and I asked for sugar free flavors and they didn't have any but the regular vanilla is good. The best part is that egg sandwich. On a recent visit to Columbus we stumbled upon this Fox in The Snow Cafe and WOW what a find !! It starts with the beautiful building and on into the cool vibe the shop offers. This place was very busy but the fast, attentive, knowledgeable staff kept things moving quickly. We ordered several of the professional looking prepared baked goods and pastries to go. We later shared these with family and friends and everyone raved about these. This place has top notch, unbelievable tasting baked goods and pastries. We haven't been to many other bakeries in the Columbus area but hard to believe any could top this. This place is Highly Recommend A+ and will we return on our next visit to Columbus. read more

Thanks to Yelper Mike G. For helping me find this delicious breakfast spot. Don't be scared of the long line, it moves very fast. The place is bright and clean and feels hip. So many pastries being made in front of you it's hard to choose. We got a New Orleans Iced Coffee, a sticky bun and an egg sandwich with bacon. The sticky bun was full of a sweet nutty filling and was light and flaky. The egg sandwich was so delicious the eggs and bacon were cooked perfectly not to mention the bread had a nice tooth while easy to bite into. The coffee was the perfect morning pick me up. I wish we had Fox in the Snow in the DC area - but also I don't, because I would want to go every day! Excellent coffee (I noticed at least some of it comes from Tandem Coffee in Portland, Maine, one of our other favorites), and we enjoyed both the vanilla latte and the honey. The honey came with a cite marzipan honey treat! The egg sandwich is unreal and absolutely worth the hype. I'm not a huge breakfast sandwich person, but this was my ideal, and I find myself craving it still even a few weeks after our visit. We were able to try the locations both in the Italian Village and German Village, and both were equally excellent in quality and vibes. I was in town visiting Columbus and this spot had a lot of reviews. I love having a savory breakfast and I am a sucker for baked goods. They only had one hot breakfast sandwich which was disappointing, I was hoping to have a few hot sandwich options. Parking was easy to find when we got there, it is a small little spot. It seems it's a popular place for students to study or meet up. You order at the register and seating is first come, first serve. Woah!! This place is certainly worth the visit! Atmosphere is cute, cozy, and quaint. While not huge even when busy it's spacious enough that it doesn't feel cramped. There's space to move around and look at the offerings on display, and you don't rub elbows while eating. The food... man this place offered some absolutely delicious options. From the moist coffee cakes, and soft sticky buns to well seasoned and hot breakfast sandwiches. I rally couldnt ask for a better breakfast situation at such a reasonable price. When taking into consideration the quality and level of products they offer you wonder why it's not more expensive, which I'm Thankful it's not lol. As for service, the cashier was friendly and we were greeted with No issue. The cashier was friendly and got us what we needed. My main gripe here is that they offer sticky buns/cinnamon rolls that absolutely need to be enjoyed warm and that's not an option!! 90 seconds in the over to warm up the sticky buns would send these things over the til. They SHOULD be enjoyed warm. Give me microwave I don't care. They have the ovens, they toast bread for sandwiches, I never understand the line drawn where they can't heat up one of the offered pastries. Particular ones that shine when heated.
