Cal's Moving Help is AMAZING!! They were early to my house, eager to start work, and extremely professional and efficient. My moving crew, Edgar, Ryan, and John had happy, cheerful, and inviting demeanors. My move was a bi-product of a divorce, and what would have been a very sad experience for me turned out to be jokes and comfort!! I had no doubt my belongings were going to survive the move when my crew took the time to secure, wrap, and pad any and all furniture of value. My crew, knowing this would be a sad day for me, did their best to get the move completed in the minimal time. I also left a chord to my electric recliner tucked away in the cab of the moving truck and when I called a week later to ask about it, Ryan and Edgar went out of their way to locate it and return it to me at my home free of charge. These men posses emotional intelligence and empathize with others. I will call Cal's Moving Help any time I have a moving need and recommend them to anyone I know who needs moving help!! Cal's Moving Help is the absolute BEST! From the moment we called them (which was very last minute) to the time the move concluded they were professional, fast and really flexible. Originally we had called Cal's Moving Help for a job that (we thought) would only take 2-3 hours, need a regular size truck, and only two movers. We were SO wrong and learned that it was going to be a lot more time, a bigger truck, and an additional mover to help. Not to worry though because this was Cal's Moving Help that was moving us! They didn't even bat an eye as they called in the calvary! They brought the biggest truck with an another mover and got it all packed and moved in one load. What we had originally anticipated as a 2-3 hour move ended up being more around 8 hours and Kameron and Kyle were so willing to help it was amazing. Its very rare of me to leave reviews but I just came across their business card and I want to share my experience: Edgar and Allan helped move me from Salem to west Linn about 2 weeks ago and they did an absolutely amazing job. They were very professional yet friendly and handled all of my items with care + they even wrapped my furniture for me so nothing would get broke or scratched. It was so relieving to not have to worry about moving my own stuff or dealing with renting/returning a truck as this company provides their own moving trucks. I have A LOT of stuff and their truck had more than enough room for everything! **Excellent Moving Company** We needed help moving some heavy household items to our storage facility. The whole house, in fact, not just a few items. So that's all the big stuff from a 2142 sq. ft. home and some items were extremely heavy. Jason, Chris, and Gerald showed up with a 26 ft. truck which had a hydraulic lift. They wrapped all the furniture in blankets, packed the truck front to back, worked fast, and didn't cut any corners. They were careful, conscientious, and had a great attitude throughout the all day affair, and worked very hard to meet our needs and get the job done. We are very impressed with the company, and plan to use them again a week later to move from storage to the home. read more

I have called Cal's Moving twice now to help move family members and also parents into assisted living. Both times have been an excellent experience. Today our movers were Gerald and Andy, strong young men careful about what they were doing, and super courteous, polite, and helpful. Excellent service! The crew that arrived to help us move our shops, Jon, Jhair and Darryn, were absolutely awesome. We called Cal's back again to move our furniture back in after the carpet project was done. This time, Morgan and Alexes were here to take care of our "move". We moved from an unsafe area to a much better area and without Cal's Moving Help, I really don't think we'd have been able to get as much done as we did! Edgar & Allan were AMAZING! They even took extra special care in protecting and wrapping my extremely fragile, inherited, antique curio cabinet along with everything else. They even put up our beds before leaving as well. Excellent service from the team, Alexis, Alan and Edgar. They were very professional, on-time and very organized. Easy to talk to and work with as moving does not always go to plan.They gladly helped us with ad-hoc requests such as adding a trip to dispose of trash and recycling for me - which was a huge help. These are interesting times but they were there and got us out of our old office space and into our new office space in spite of it all. These guys were AMAZING!! From beginning to end. Ryan is who I spoke to book everything and he was so accommodating, especially when I had to change my date. I emailed and called a dozen companies to move my piano and Cals was far cheaper. I was worried there would be hidden fees or poor service but they were terrific. They didn't care I had stairs or that I'm in Portland. They were able to get me on their schedule so quickly, were so careful and respectful of my house and piano that I was very impressed. Cal's showed up to save an elderly friend of mine when the other movers failed to show up. Cal sent 4 guys with packing material and packed loaded and stored all of her belongings for free. There is no amount of advertising that can pay for that kind of service. I will always be thankful to Cal for that. read more
