I was able to message with someone online to coordinate details and even adjust our move as plans shifted, which made the whole process much less stressful. On moving day, our crew was incredible. Andy, Miraj, Muha, Tatty, and Aibar were kind, efficient, and thoughtful throughout the entire day. They worked hard, stayed positive, and handled everything with care. Movers arrived at 9:01 and it's 9:30am and they've moved nothing. I had to call their dispatch and I got the run around. Two Asian dudes showed up, barely spoke to me, one would only speak his own language while the other would then speak to me in English. They rudely took pics of my apartment, then went and sat back in their truck. After about 20 minutes, the guys came out and said they couldn't do the move because it was "unsafe". Prior to that it was because I had too many small items, and in between that I was told it was because I asked for 3 hours and they'd need 7-9 hours. I called dispatch again and told Karina she sent me two racist movers. She claimed that couldn't be. I explained my stance and she said she'd call me back. Meanwhile, I have no way to move my stuff. Karina said she would talk with her moving team and call me back. Guess what? She never did. I guess you get great service when you have the right skin color. Move your stuff yourself and save the headache. The worst company ever and I don't see how Yelp recommends them. I'm disgusted. read more

So the whole booking process is easy. You get charged per box for packing. Nothing was broken except a Orchid that was never meant to be packed. And that was my mom's fault. I asked if I could buy them pizza and if pepperoni was okay so I got two Large Pepperoni from Von Ebert, and they said they couldn't eat it because of the pork. That was annoying. They did take a VERY long time to pack. For having 4 guys there, they were slow. And I must have told them 5 times to take the couch apart and they didn't. Then we're seemingly surprised when they couldn't get it in the elevator. Between the locations they had at least an hour break. Which I paid for. Definitely won't use them again but it wasn't awful. Had a really great experience with GOAT movers. I used requests a quote on Yelp a few months ago to find them. They responded quickly to that and were very friendly and accommodating throughout. I was moving from one house to another and then a storage unit, I appreciated they worked with me on that. They communicated well prior to arrival, walked me through the paperwork quickly and they then got started. Ynty and one other mover, I didn't catch his name, did a great job. They were quick and took great care of my stuff. I thought the pricing was fair, and honestly was the best value I found in the area. Warning: Property damage & No Accountability We hired Goat Movers on October 28, 2025 to move our last few items. They requested a $100 deposit over the phone with no contract or paperwork. When they arrived, the two movers were in street clothes with no uniforms or ID, and the truck had no permanent branding--just a magnetic sign on the driver's door. After the move, we paid the remaining $425 balance in cash. No receipt or proof of payment was provided. During the move, multiple items were damaged, including furniture, a floor lamp, and the threshold at our new home. They even clogged our toilet by flushing baby wipes. We have photos documenting the damage in this order: 1. Threshold damage 2. Sofa/furniture damage 3. Floor lamp damage - front view 4. Floor lamp damage - close-up 5. Not only did multiple electronics come up missing after their service (including a 6 month old iPad) they also damaged my new build home by hitting a corner wall and causing permanent structural damage. An uncertified "handy man" was sent to my home to fix the damage to only patch and paint over the area with a mustached color. concerning the missing electronics, I have emailed the business multiple times. They have never answered. My last resort is to proceed by filing a police report for the missing items and further legal suite if/when applicable. Considering the trouble, loss of items, and damages. This is the most expensive and worst moving service I have ever experienced. read more

Do NOT use GOAT Movers. We used them to pack our house. They arrived without tape guns. They didn't have markers to mark our boxes, we had to give them ours. They took statues that were displayed in a glass case and put them in a box without wrapping anything around them. Two are now broken. They wrapped all of our breakable dishes in cling wrap and put heavy items on top of them. They failed to tape the bottom of a box sufficiently and when I lifted it, the contents spilled out onto my garage floor. They used bubble wrap on two items, yet charged me $50 for a roll of bubble wrap. I spent my weekend redoing their work. I asked for a full refund, they said no. I asked for a partial refund and they said they would get back to me. It's been weeks and I have heard nothing. I have pictures to demonstrate. read more

In good conscience, as a yelp regular and elite - I have to say that this review was written while they were standing with me and watching what I wrote. When I didn't tip on the total after he ran my card, noticeably frustrated - he asked for a review. I said I would write one. He said, "can you do it now?" It felt very forced. They did an okay job, but honestly - they overpacked everything- multiple layers of blankets, foam, bubble wrap, and tape - took 2x as long for them to take off. They took 6 hours to move a one bedroom apartment that was all furniture, packed tubs or packed boxes. No packing - only wrapping to move. $760. After posting my first edit, Isa (the manager) reached out again to ask what else they could do to make things right. We agreed on them sending a crew to move the heavy piece of furniture that the was too heavy for the first crew, free of charge. Really great, fast, and ended up helping with packing as well--as we ended up a bit behind! IF YOU HAVE A PIANO, I would recommend you get a specialized mover. Their truck doesn't have a lift that stays parallel to the ground so it tips as it comes up and they had to catch my upright piano as it tipped/fell--nearly gave me a panic attack. For a short distance move, a specialist is only around $100 more than the upcharge from these guys, so I'd say it's worth it for peace of mind. Everything stayed safe and sound, so all is well.
