I have done exactly that several times, but weeks go by without a single text, call, or follow-up. It has now been over a month, and I still have yet to receive any response. Eventually, the job posting just disappears, and the same cycle repeats over and over. To make matters worse, even when you comment and they give you a phone number that the agency provides in the comment section of the job posting, it does not help whatsoever. There is still no response, no follow-up, and no communication. This has become extremely frustrating and exhausting. It's honestly hard to understand how this agency continues to operate with such poor communication and lack of follow-through. This level of unprofessionalism is exactly why people struggle to take staffing agencies seriously. If you expect people to take the opportunities you provide seriously, then your agency should also take its responsibility to communicate with applicants seriously. If you're looking for a solid job or a staffing agency that is actually persistent and communicates with its applicants, I would strongly recommend looking elsewhere. Total time between invoicing and electronic payment is 11 days. They have never been late. Once, I forgot to invoice for one week, and I didn't realize it until the following Monday. I sent the invoice then and told them I didn't expect payment until the following week, but they paid me that Friday, just four days later! That is outstanding service! Their recruiters are very good too. They have never wasted my time by contacting me about positions that aren't a good match for me, and they helped me get two of the best jobs I've had. I reached out to my local branch 1595 in Clairemont San Diego who told me I had to take 4 assessment tests online to complete onboarding. I finish these within an hour of meeting with 1595 branch and inform them immediately as asked by responding to their original email with "Done". Three days later I reach out my branch again (same rep) asking how long it will take to process my onboarding since I still had no access to applying to jobs. I was told, "you only completed 1 of 4 assessments". I inform the branch rep (same rep) that I had in fact completed all four at the same time and emailed that exact rep days ago to inform them I had completed the assessments. I then asked again how long it usually takes to finish onboarding so I can start working. Again, my question was not answered and was told the same message over and over again, "I'll let you know when we receive your assessment scores from corporate office". I tried calling the corporate customer service line (1-253-383-9101) to speak with someone regarding the issue and was kept on hold for over 45mins with not a single response from a live person. I've read a bunch of other negative reviews about my local branch, and with zero response from the parent companies own customer service line, I'm not sure that this company cares at all about getting people to work. They should change their name from PeopleReady to PeopleWaitingInLimbo.
