She recommended "Soft Beige." Love it! Pain-wise? It was doable for someone with high pain tolerance. Bonus points to her personal assistant/cameraman. I had my top and bottom eyeliner done. She numbed my top lash line and bottom lashline, then went to work. You can feel the vibrations but if it gets uncomfortable, you can tell her and she will give you more anesthesia cream. I was pleased with the result because it looked natural. I came back today, a month later and she did my brows. I had my brows initially done by someone else and she moved far away so I was looking for someone in my city. Ranosha did a great job with my eyebrows. She reshaped them a little more curvy because the original shape made me look angry. She also reshaded them dark brown instead of black because after four years, my initial eyebrow shading had faded to gray. She does such a great job and I really like how everything turned out. I am also very happy with her pricing because I believe it is fair. What you see in her advertisement is what you get. You don't pay anything more. Of course I did leave her a tip because she did such a great job. She is so pleasant and her salon is small but comfortable. I looked into eyelash extensions, but stumped upon lash lift, and found Tori in Yelp! The process is a little long, about an hour. She takes cash only. There's a convenience store a block away from her that has an ATM if you forget cash! Be sure to get directions for when you arrive. It's a bit tricky to find her place. She says the lash could stay curled for up to 12 weeks depending on what you do to them. Mine only looked good for a month max. The second month, most lashes straightened out, while a few stayed curled. By the end of the second month, all my lashes were straight again. I don't wear much makeup (only eyeliner) on a day-to-day basis. I wear mascara only on special occasions, which was 3 times during the those two months. I never wear fake eyelashes. I'm not sure why mine didn't last as long, but it was nice while it lasted. It's a little expensive for my lashes to look good for only a month. I see why people do it if they curl their eyelashes everyday. It definitely saves a lot of time. It was definitely nice to have, and I might do it again for another special occasion.
