Around 9:00 p.m., I took my younger cousins to the food court to get something to eat and distract them from everything that was happening. While getting a bottle of water from one of the refrigerators, my finger was suddenly slammed in the door, immediately turning purple. The pain was intense. When I checked out at the register, I explained what had happened to the cashier. Rather than showing concern, the cashier chuckled and simply asked whether I needed ice. No incident report was created, and no one appeared to care about what had happened. That same night, my aunt passed away, so my focus was understandably on my family rather than the injury to my finger. However, the pain became severe, and I was unable to sleep because the nerve pain was shooting up my entire arm. The following day, I returned to the hospital and spoke with a manager in the food court. I explained what had occurred and asked why no incident report had been filed. The manager contacted security, and I was escorted to the emergency room to have my finger evaluated. I was treated by Dr. Fiscus, who had to burn a hole in my fingernail to relieve the blood buildup. Upon discharge, I signed paperwork and was informed by a staff member that St. Agnes Hospital would be covering the bill because the accident had occurred in the food court. Despite this assurance, I have continued to receive bills from Vituity and Trinity and have spent considerable time speaking with multiple people who now claim that St. Agnes is not responsible. I am extremely disappointed that a hospital with a religious mission has handled this situation in such an uncaring and inconsistent manner. I feel that I was misled regarding responsibility for my medical expenses, and I am especially concerned that I was never contacted by Risk Management despite being told that the matter would be addressed. I am requesting that someone from Risk Management contact me as soon as possible to discuss this incident and provide clarification regarding the outstanding bills related to the injury that occurred on hospital property.

I go see Badyal, she only looked in my general direction twice. TWICE. Once when she walked in the room, and the second to look at a photo on my phone of what I was explaining. She typed whatever on her laptop and never examined me. She said "monitor for 2 weeks and I'm sending you for labs." ‍‍ what? I debated for 5 minutes with myself if I should even do the labs before I sucked it up and did it. I got a call on Monday afternoon with someone looking to schedule an appointment to go over said lab results. I said I was available now and they said "okay well put your name down" and hung up... I then get another phone call an hour later only to tell me what was wrong with my labs. No treatment plan, no diagnosis that could've caused anything. Nothing. The lady that told me the results only told me what was wrong. Never went over the rest of the labs. They took 5 vials of blood and a urine sample and never told me what for. Not to mention my downstairs issue was never even examined or addressed by Badyal. I've had multiple issues with their dentistry as well. Saw Brandon Smith, that frog lookin mf announced my issues loud enough for other patients to hear. The nurse in there thought I was stupid because I didn't finish filling out the paperwork before being called back. Then criticized me for it, and asked if I normally have someone help me with filling out paperwork... like wtf?! It seems unless you're Indian or wear towels for clothes you will be treated like shit, or not get proper care. Please whatever you do, regardless if you've got a stubbed toe or are dying from a serious illness stay the hell away from this place.

They had me in and out within an hour (unheard of for urgent care as busy as them, especially with them also being a primary care clinic.) the clinic is clean, the staff is friendly and they are very on top of it. The doctor listened to my history and what led up to today and took all of that into consideration with his treatment options. I will definitely be returning here for my urgent care needs.
