I am very disappointed with the way my situation was handled at St. Agnes Hospital…read more On May 2, 2026, I visited my aunt, who was passing away. Around 9:00 p.m., I took my younger cousins to the food court to get something to eat and distract them from everything that was happening. While getting a bottle of water from one of the refrigerators, my finger was suddenly slammed in the door, immediately turning purple. The pain was intense. When I checked out at the register, I explained what had happened to the cashier. Rather than showing concern, the cashier chuckled and simply asked whether I needed ice. No incident report was created, and no one appeared to care about what had happened. That same night, my aunt passed away, so my focus was understandably on my family rather than the injury to my finger. However, the pain became severe, and I was unable to sleep because the nerve pain was shooting up my entire arm. The following day, I returned to the hospital and spoke with a manager in the food court. I explained what had occurred and asked why no incident report had been filed. The manager contacted security, and I was escorted to the emergency room to have my finger evaluated. I was treated by Dr. Fiscus, who had to burn a hole in my fingernail to relieve the blood buildup. Upon discharge, I signed paperwork and was informed by a staff member that St. Agnes Hospital would be covering the bill because the accident had occurred in the food court. Despite this assurance, I have continued to receive bills from Vituity and Trinity and have spent considerable time speaking with multiple people who now claim that St. Agnes is not responsible. I am extremely disappointed that a hospital with a religious mission has handled this situation in such an uncaring and inconsistent manner. I feel that I was misled regarding responsibility for my medical expenses, and I am especially concerned that I was never contacted by Risk Management despite being told that the matter would be addressed. I am requesting that someone from Risk Management contact me as soon as possible to discuss this incident and provide clarification regarding the outstanding bills related to the injury that occurred on hospital property.

I ended up establishing care with one of the PAs there, Sam, and he has been excellent. He takes the time to actually remember who I am, remembers details from previous visits, and makes every appointment feel personal rather than rushed. What I appreciate most is how educational and nonjudgmental the conversations are. We've had really good discussions about my overall health, lifestyle, things I'm doing well, and areas where I can improve. It feels collaborative instead of transactional, which is honestly rare to find. Whenever I've brought up issues that are outside the scope of primary care, he has had no problem referring me to specialists, and I also appreciate that he follows up on that care afterward instead of just sending you off and forgetting about it. Overall, I've been very happy with the care I've received here, and I genuinely hope I'm able to continue seeing Sam for a long time. Highly recommend if you're looking for a primary care office in Fresno.

I get my blood drawn every couple of months and then go back in to go over the results and make sure everything is good. Workers are masked and nice. It is clean and safe. The best time to go in is in the morning. It gets really busy. Packed to where you don't feel as safe in the afternoon. I walked in early at 9:40 am and they didn't take me in until almost 10:30. My appointment was at 10:15 and they didn't seem busy yet. The main thing is, make sure you provide extra time. It seems like it takes forever. A lot of waiting. I was finally put in a room and I sat there waiting and waiting. They weighed me and took my blood pressure prior to that. I waited another 50 minutes Finally, the doctor came in. My doc is Dr. Dhillion and he went over everything. Everything was normal except my blood count was low. The doctor is good! He said he wanted me to do another blood test for the blood count before I left and see him in a month. Make sure you don't have any timely matters after the appointment. You won't make it if you do. At least the doctor is good and the assistants are nice. I checked out, scheduled the next appointment and went to their lab area to get my blood drawn again. The worker was very kind and drew my blood quickly. I left after that, after a worker at the front desk wished me a good day!

I have advanced deterioration of my "T" and "L" vertebrae and a profound spinal stenosis (curve) from years of working construction and driving a truck. I also have several college degrees and graduated Valedictorian out of CSU Fresno. In my experience: The office is like running a gauntlet through various torture (treatment) rooms, across the quad (in the heat) and back, past various other patients actively being treated (YUCK, I know) Then leading you past reception to a back room with a computer and desk where you are subjected to a 16 minute video about neuropathy, whether or not you even have the condition. Don't miss the mislabeling of elements in the body. Apparently a red blood cell is quantified as a "blood vessel" and bones off gas toxins back into the surrounding tissue. Calcium buildup is known as "bumpy stuff." The hard sales pitch is difficult to swallow at best. Be it known, from multiple sources, $47k is their fist price point. Plan B offers a $26K albeit lesser treatment option, finally if you hesitate, a Plan C is offered at the mid 5K range with no Stem Cell treatment. In House (standing) X-rays with no visible medical certification or inspection documentation, insuring the "collapsed" sections were under full stress and at their fullest compacted position. Not a surprise that the highest price option was the most recommended variant. Anyone that falls for this, deserves what they get. Remember this enterprise is run by a Chiropractor, yea, the guys that say "We can fix anything by aligning your bones." Yes, the 18 month schooling that does not allow them to prescribe actual medicine, or diagnose any actual ailment, or ability to guarantee results.

This office has walked alongside me through some of the most difficult seasons of my life, including infertility, pregnancy loss, and a complicated C-section recovery when my incision opened after delivery. Through every challenge, they never made me feel like just another patient. They listened, advocated for me, and always made sure I received the care I needed, including referrals to specialists whenever appropriate. I always felt like my concerns mattered and that I was truly being cared for. Brittany, Carlye, and Dr. Mason have been incredibly compassionate, knowledgeable, and proactive. Their attention to detail and commitment to their patients is unmatched. They have celebrated my victories, supported me through heartbreak, and provided reassurance during some very scary moments. Over the years, they have come to feel more like family than healthcare providers. What makes this office even more special is that the kindness extends to every person you encounter. The nurses who bring you back to the exam rooms are warm, caring, and genuinely compassionate. The scheduling staff are always friendly, patient, and helpful. Every interaction leaves you feeling supported and valued. This practice has truly held my hand through some of life's biggest challenges, and every step of the way I have been met with kindness, empathy, and exceptional care. I am endlessly grateful for this team and would recommend them to anyone looking for providers who are not only outstanding clinicians, but also extraordinary human beings.

I started seeing nurse practitioner, Brittany Ong about five years ago. My first two appointments…read morewith her were great. She seemed compassionate and respectful. Since then, she has repeatedly entered the room with an unexplainable irrtated, combative vibe. She and I never had any sort of argument or confrontation of any kind. My best guess at the cause for her change in demeanor is that the job has simply worn her down and she has acquired a new cynical view of life. She went from being caring and attentive to rude, condescending, and dismissive. During the last two appointments she talked at me instead of with me. So much so that after my appointment today, I decided I needed a second opinion and will be looking for a new service provider. Today I was asking about the option of trying a specific prescription to manage certain symptoms. I said, "I was wondering about trying X." Her response was, "NO." Nothing more. Just "NO." With a glare. When I gently asked, "Can you tell me why?" Her answer was curt to the point of being rude and she followed it up with, "I will only consider Y and Z as a treatment option." Again, no explanation for why, and absolutely no opening for a conversation. She had no interest in my understanding or agreeing with the plan. It was presented very much with a "my way or the highway" tone. Honestly, she projected an air of expecting an argument even though we'd never had one. If this had been a one-off, I might have chalked it up to having a bad day. But this has become a pattern. As an additional point of information, this office's annual appointments are currently booked out 14 months in advance. When she informed me of this fact during our appointment (she brought it up, I didn't ask), she made it sound like I should have known that was the situation (for context, I expressed mild surprise but gave no complaint when she brought this up). She even scolded me for not making my annual appointment sooner. Without bothering to ask why I hadn't already made the appointment. If she had, I could have explained that most of my personal medical care had been delayed over the last year due to my children's medical needs. I really didn't need her trying to make me feel guilty for something that was beyond my control. But I just kept my mouth shut and let her move on to the next topic of her choice. Bottom line, she now seems jaded and close-minded. Look elsewhere for compassionate, well-informed care.
