My sister Helen has been bedridden and was told by her doctor here in Chowchilla that she will not prescribe medication or send anyone out to take a look at her at all to help her with their help and this is her health doctor unless she came in when clearly the doctor have a record and she cannot come in to that office the doctor has not been there very long and have not using the resources necessary to help my sister her doctor before her was Dr semenegro Who was a very good doctor and when there was a problem son whoever needed to be out to the house this doctor refuses to do what's she taking out to do so afraid of losing her license for doing her job things are done different here than they are in Texas I will also be contacting medical about Camarena health and this doctor read more

Was forced to come here for my daughters eye exam. My experience was no where near pleasant. The receptionist was rude and made checking in extremely difficult knowing she could've checked us in with the insurance card we had she asked for a different member id. Even after me calling the insurance to speak to her she insisted that's not how they "do things" she was the (only) tall Hispanic one. About 30 mins later I was able to figure something else out and her rude a&& "got it" but couldn't make eye contact after that. Anyway doctor Garcia was rude as well. My daughter had been sick with a cold for the last 4-5 days but was feeling way better. When the Dr came in she said "hi how long have you had this issue" not her name not anything but that. I said what issue? She looked at me like I was stupid as she looked away TOLD me " you didn't notice her eyes were red" no B I didn't because they are not. Or if you mean because they just had her eyes wide Tf open and pumped air in her eyes right before you walked in this dark as& room the. How Tf was I going to notice that! Mind you they were not red. But ok. My main issue is that she proceeded to tell me that in situations like this she would normally send us home because these are clear symptoms of COVID. EXCUSE ME?! Ok. But she'd see us and make it quick because she understood we came from the county over. BUT my daughter was not able to get glasses because they refused to let her choose any due to the fact that she'd have to try them on. Now, I do understand that if she had COVID first of all I should have AND I would have kept her home. Second, they want to remain safe as well. I get that. But WHAT IM NOT OKAY WITH IS FIRST. The passive aggressive attitude. Especially at a place of profession. But my final and main issue is that we went home and had my daughter take TWO COVID test. Sure enough both negative. Rude a&& females. So just be aware that chances are you will have to deal with females like that. Just unnecessary but most of all unacceptable! read more

I have never had a bad experience at a doctor's office. Camarena in Chowchilla I already had 3 terrible experiences. A lot of these people should not be certified. First one of the assistants answered some questions for me as if she knew me. When going to get my physical done, they ask the patient many questions. This assistant was like " do you sleep 8 hrs a day?... You do right?... I put yes to this question witch is very dumb that they make us ask you guys because its very obvious that you do..." she kept doing that for a few questions. I did not like that, she was not professional at all!! Another time I went to go get checked and I felt super uncomfortable. As I was getting checked I was explaining to the doctor how I had been feeling and my symptoms and the whole time she kept looking at me with a disgusted face. She started to smile and giggle as well. She acted super immature and not professional. I would think going to a Woman to get checked would help me feel more comfortable than with a guy doctor, but no I was wrong. After that day I decided not to go to camerana health anymore I gave them way too many chances. Another time I went for something, and they told me "We do no know what you have we tried giving you different medicines were not sure" They did not even try to figure it out. They did not bother sending me to get any exams done, CT scans, or MRI. Another time I was asked a question everyone gets asked and when answering yes the doctor right away judged me and said "Back in my day I never did that until marriage...blah blah" She continued to lecture me on Life and values. I came to get my physical done not to get judged or scolded, that's my parent's job, not yours! read more

I recently visited this facility for a dental appointment. While I do not like leaving negative reviews, my experience with the dental staff was very poor. The Dr. did a fine job, but the staff were very unprofessional from the moment I was greeted at the front desk to the treatment I received. I had a cleaning performed while at this visit.. During the cleaning process the tech who was applying suction and water to rinse, spent more time talking to the girl in the next stall over, about personal matter. Each time the tech would talk to the other tech, she would pull the suction tube out of my mouth wile the Dr. was performing the cleaning. I swallowed more water than was actually been sucked out. Beyond my experience with the tech who assisted the Dr. I had a follow up tech who applied polish. The polish experience was even worse the the tech who helped cur the DR. The tech who applied the polish was abrupt and seemed like she was in a race or timed on how fast she could get done and did not seem to care about the wellbeing of her patient. I went back the following day and asked to speak with the office manager, the same tech who performed the polish was the person who was supposed be the office manager, does not speak well for the tech or the establishment in general. All tech who work for the dental facility need to be counseled on proper ecaudate of how to treat patients, be reminded of the impotence of customer service along with keeping personal matter away from the patience to make sure they are giving the patient the proper care they disserve! read more

Worst customer service ever!!!!!!! Refused to help me get a message to my provider faster since it was a refill on mental health medicine that you can't go a day without. Was told "if I transfer you to a supervisor they'll tell you the same thing, it'll take 24-72 hours for them to say yes or no". I then asked for an appointment and its a 2 week out appointment for over the phone... It shocked me how little she cared about someone not getting their medicine that they need to survive. I asked if she could at least let the Doctor know there was an urgent message for them waiting and was told NO... Not going the extra step while you're a medical assistant really shows you probably shouldn't be in this field of work. I'm hoping another doctor's office will help me since obviously they don't care what so ever. Just horrible business, don't go here if you don't have too. read more

There awful they wasted 3 hrs of my time with a sick child I called At 10:40 In to see if they would take my daughter she's was vomiting sick Camarena operator said I can come so I did when I got there at 11:40 I talked to the 3rd front desk female attendant she told me my app. Was at 1pm everyone is I lunch so I waited it was 1:30 and nothing I went to talk to the same girl she responded your not register I was pissed of then what did she mean when she said my app. Was at 1pm she said I didn't register you because I went to my lunch she pisses me off so bad I give them 0 stars bad service she could haves told me that before wasted time I will be changing health providers because of her bad service read more

I have to say the doctor was great and was very concerned with my medical issues and did everything he could for me. Which is why I gave 3 stars instead of 2. As for the ladies that deal with consultations i am not happy with them as I have been waiting for a consultation for a month. When I finally got in touch with someone they told me an employee "noted" that I told them I had already seen the doctor. Since that was untrue she had to send my information to a different doctor due to the other employees mistake, I'm not allowed to see the doctor that I was originally going to see. The one that had already been approved. Now I have to wait yet again for the paperwork to be sent out for approval, then to call the new doctor to make an appointment that to which I was told can take a couple months to get into see the doctor. This was a month of waiting and now i have to wait even longer.I am not happy with this situation at all!!! Fyi..I'm on my sisters yelp. she's being nice and letting me use hers since I don't have one set up yet. read more

Camarena Health is an amazing doctors office. You might have to wait a while to get an appointment but they are really busy with patients. I personally think it is worth the wait!! They treat every patient with the best care possible. read more

I had made an Appointment to see the Doctor because I have a broken tail bone and a hurt back. Went to go see a new doctor because mine transferred to the Childrens Hospital. So I had doctor Miller im in there starting to tell him my symptoms of whats going on with me and would you believe he cuts me off at Mid sentence and says "Could you please come back next week"? I said Excuse me?!?! He says "Could you please come back next week- you see I can only get 15mins with each Patient and well your over your time". Im here on Thursdays and that would be best if you could make another appointment next week I looked at my mom and she had the same facial expression as I did. And I said ya sure. I was so angry. I called my insurance and asked the lady if that was the new rule for doctors to see patients only a lotted amount of time and she said no and I told her what happened to me and even she was shocked. So I HIGHLY would NOT recommend Camarena Health Centers in Chowchilla beacuse you might be getting the same treatment as I did :-( read more
