This place is HUGE. I was not expecting so much retail space for what appeared to be a little nursery in Cambria. I was obviously mistaken. We came for succulents and were not disappointed. But they also had a huge variety of decorations and gifts, tools, pots... you name it. And everything is so well decorated and laid out, it almost feels more like you're walking through someone's huge garden. read more

I was staying at the Cambria Lodge and was delighted that the nursery was in walking distance. The entire ambiance was so calming and relaxing. There was soothing music playing and hummingbirds everywhere. They have a lot of native plants to choose from and a little bit of everything. My stay at the lodge came with a 20% discount and the employees at the nursery were so nice and helpful. I bought a Rhapsalis Paradox and a variegated Christmas cactus. Both good scores for me. I would definitely check them out when you're in town. read more

A beautiful garden setting with wonderful gifts and healthy plants. Inspiring Place to visit and shop!

We shopped here for some privacy plants (potato vines) for our second home in Cambria. Everyone working there was friendly and helpful. They delivered the plants efficiently. We went back to order more of these plants and were again treated cordially by everyone there. The additional plants were delivered by two young and courteous people. We will be back for any planting needs. read more

Anytime I am in Cambria I always pick up a plant to drive home with me. I went in right before closing but they never made me feel hurried at all. I ran around to quickly grab something colorful for the backyard. Did a quick #Nurserycrawl they also have a pretty cool gift shop out back and lots of colorful Mexican pots with the beautiful flower art. I happen to love soap rocks and the gift shop here carries quite a bit of them the company that makes them is out of New York so whenever I find them I grab them. A beautiful place no matter the season or time of year. The nursery is divided into various categories/themed areas like succulent, fruit trees, annuals, etc. I make it a point to stop by each time I'm in town. I usually buy a small plant, pot, or small garden decoration. Staff are understandably busy tending to the plants, but they are friendly and helpful when I've had a question. read more

I've only visited Cambria Nursery & Florist during the holiday season but if I were local, I'd definitely see coming here for my gardening needs. For me, the highlight was the ornate rooms of holiday decor for sale and their cute outdoor displays. This year the Cambria Christmas market is canceled but normally they participate and stay open late with their own light displays. Still, they managed to make the grounds festive and it was a nice way to kick off my day in Cambria. Mask, hand sanitizing and social distancing are all enforced. Lots of fun to browse or find a unique ornament to remember your trip to Cambria. read more

Cambria, CA This nursery is located near the Cambria Pines lodge. The outdoor nursery and grounds are absolutely beautiful and well maintained. It's worth a visit just to stroll around and look at all of the beautiful plants and flowers. There is an outdoor concrete path that meanders through all of the different types of potted plants sold on the property. The grounds are immaculate and a joy to take in all of the beauty. The nursery is actually very large with several indoor shops. They have everything from Christmas decorations, to gardening supplies, vegetable and flower seeds, even jewelry and house décor. They have an on site florist building, but she was out for the day off site for a wedding. Worth a quick stop if you're into this type of thing. It was nice to see so many blooms amidst the California drought. read more

Really not impressed with the selection here. The gift shop is decorated BEAUTIFULLY for the holidays. It's really worth going here just to walk through the gift shop. I took a few stars off because we had to check in with the cashier up front here to get our wristbands for the Cambria Christmas Market. Other reviews complain about the older cranky lady who works up front and we experienced the same attitude. She was on a power trip with a nasty, unwarranted attitude. Berating anyone who tried to check in before she was ready. She was a know it all Hell bent on making anyone and everyone feel stupid. If you hate customer service, stay home you Scrooge! read more

This nursery is pure joy! It is a huge nursery/ garden on a large hilltop in Cambria that has all of the plants you could possibly dream of! I spent substantial time roaming looking for my new plant project. My patio is quite sunny and has a low success rate for plants, so I decided to try my hand at planting an herb. When I went to go check out, I chatted with the cashier, Espy, and she gave me so many valuable insights into herb care! She assured me that thyme and rosemary are hardy herbs that are resilient against most weather. I asked if she could possibly pot the plant for me and she did! It was wonderful! She led me through the garden and talked to me all about thyme, proper planting methods, and watering. I felt like I got a mini info session on my herb garden. It was great as someone who is having trouble keeping my plants alive. I ended up purchasing more herbs than I needed to fit my pot and so she also issued me a refund on one of my herb plants. It was fast, efficient, and I was so grateful for all of her help. She explained that I could not put more herbs in my pot as it would overcrowd and kill the plants. Cambria Nursery is a truly wonderful addition to Cambria. Thank you for always fulfilling my plant needs! Big thank you to Espy for her help with my herb garden! What a beautiful nursery. Absolutely loved walking through their space with all the incredible plants as well as artwork. Wish we could have experienced their holiday lights at night, but they look intricate! Really enjoyed watching the koi fish in the pond.
