A beautiful nursery that feels like a mini botanical garden…read more I find myself here every time I visit charming Cambria. Meandering paths lead you through cottage gardens, shade gardens, and quiet Zen corners. It's a whimsical multi-acre experience with display gardens, gift shops, animals, a farmstand, and the largest year-round Christmas store in SLO County. Beyond plants, you'll find antiques, books, home goods, and garden art. It's one of my favorite places to pick up unique gifts for family and friends, and somehow I always leave with something for my own garden collection. There's also a seasonal farmstand offering fresh produce and local eggs from nearby ranches. It's peaceful, magical, and endlessly inspiring, always giving me new ideas for my own backyard. PS - it's free and open daily.

I particularly like the vintage Christmas decor in the back room with notable items from Europe, as well as the United States. Many of them have a wonderful handmade look, and also recall Christmas from years gone by. They still have their tea, coffee and snack bar open so you can sip a hot drink and walk around and enjoy the plants while you plan your Christmas decorations

They also have lovely little special trinkets for the kiddos like stickers and colorful heart stones, or glow in the dark pebbles for your fairy garden. The staff were also very nice to my small children. I will be back to try the herbs, they looked really nice and fresh. There is something special about this store. Don't miss out.

They paused their involved conversation for a split second so that one could glance up to give a deadpan unfriendly, non-welcoming, underwhelming acknowledgment (I intentionally didn't say "greeting"). Huh, okay, maybe I misread that, I thought. I shopped around while they continued to ignore me and the other shoppers in the store. Me, willing to think it was a fluke, I say something friendly to them about liking the shop and they both stared at me blankly and said nothing (What?!? Who does that??). It was beyond strange- it was rude. I told my daughter to put back the items she picked out and let's go. As we left, my daughter said "bye, thank you" and they ignored her. The whole thing was offensive to me and I'm posting so the owner is aware, and if *that* was the owner of the shop, she clearly won't care anyway and can get back to making my voodoo doll. Went to the next shop where we were greeted from across the store with "hi, welcome in!" And then the store after that with "good afternoon!" And genuine smiles. Creating a positive, welcoming and friendly customer experience goes a long way. The 1-star rating is for the experience. The shop itself has interesting and unique finds and I like the space.

The shop is stocked with goods made locally in SLO County. You can tell the store is thoughtfully thought out- from the display of the goods to the available items. There's things for everyone- the foodie, the plant lovers, the souvenir searchers, the four legged (doggy & kitty) lovers, the home and yard decorators, the clothes lovers, etc. The store isn't always open, but go into the pizza restaurant next door and ask when it'll be open. It's totally worth making that effort. The owner is super sweet and so nice too! I purchased a metal Cambria sign and we just mounted it on driftwood from Moonstone Beach. We absolutely love it !!!

Walked in to the bright and airy shop and was immediately greeted with a big smile. The shop is small, but thoughtfully laid out. Not only are there different foods to try from local shops around the Central Coast, there are crafts and gift items as well. I picked up a block of local Garlic Jack cheese to add to a charcuterie board I'm making for a Christmas party. There were so many different things to check out that I cannot wait to go back next time I am in town to see what other local treats I can experience!
