One of my fav BBQ sauces!
    Leo B.

I have visited this place a couple times now with friends and family and there's always something fun there to do or pick up as a gift. We pick apples there. It's a fun experience and we usually make a whole bunch of pies for the holidays. They have some animals for the kids to visit and learn about. They also have some very nice yard art which when it's on sale - is an amazing buy. I bought two decorative yard windmills and they both look great. And they have some amazing sauces and other sundry items in there - I particularly like the barbecue sauces. They are definitely worth checking out a couple times a year no matter what.

Every time we visit Hearst castle, we always stop by this place. The owners are sweethearts and they are only open starting Memorial Day weekend to the end of the year. There's a petting zoo, and lots of cute little nic nacks and snacks! My only gripe is that it is a bit of a tourist trap, and they charge sky rocket prices for things made in China aka animals sculptures, etc to place in your yard. If they were made locally, I could see why the price would be marked high. Other than that, it's a cute place, and a fun place to stop if you have kids!

What brought me to Jack Creek was their pumkin sale. I was so lost when I realized they were sold out of Cinderella pumkins and all I knew is I wanted something tasty! Becky came to the rescue with an impressive amount of knowledge and wonderful attitude! When you think of local businesses that you really want to suport this place should definitely be at the top of your list. They have a ton of really cute gift ideas inside their shop and fresh locally famed goods on the outside. They have someone with incredible chocolatier talent making the cutest truffles.

Diving out to Moro Bay this past Sunday and flipped around after passing this cute establishment off the Highway! The two sister's who ran the store were so fun and encouraged us to try anything we wanted to. The Apple cider slushies sounded amazing and would be so good on a hot day in North County. They also have a kids zone right next door that would be fun for kids under 6.

Some people spend $70 on a nice dinner, we spend it on u-pick apples and pumpkins.

What a full day (manual labor makes it feel like a day, but really it was maybe an hour and a half) at Jack Creek Farms! There is a bunch to do. We went for the u-pick apples which were plentiful. We got about...wait for it - 16 lbs of apples! They have a bunch of varieties of apples. There were also some remaining tomatoes, peppers, and a few giant squash. The apples were really sweet and crunchy and reminded me somehow of basically drinking juice straight from the apple. None of that truck transit mealiness or diluted flavor. But, you do have to pick around the apples that some critters enjoyed. We also got pumpkins for Halloween. They have a cute store with unique items and brands. The owners of the farm are really friendly and ring up purchases themselves. They are apparently also known for some apple slushies. As an almost 30 year old, I had fun. They also have some attractions specifically for kids. I just went for the apples. We were among the only people picking apples on a Friday AM, but there were plenty of kids and families there enjoying other parts of the farm. Of course, we need to cover the bathroom sitch. It is porta potties. Let's get that out of the way. They are, however, the cleanest porta potties I've seen. But, still a porta pooty is a porta pooty. A great time for any age human unless you only wear heels and want to drink wine.

I had a great time picking vegetables and berries here! It was a bit hot so if you visit make sure to plan for that The veggies were tasty and I made a good meal from them when I got home. I also loved the shop there where they had aioli and honey tastings. I got two aiolis and have been using them on sandwiches!

We came for a visit today They open at 11 Note in October they don't do honey tasting as they are too busy with fall pumpkins and harvest sales We did a honey tasting of 4 honeys. It was very good. I like the cranberry flower honey. We each had a slushy and got half cranberry half apple Very good! We picked 2 bags of apples, 5 each They are very flavorful, not like those at grocery stores. My grandson loved the apple picking My daughter and I both got a chocolate truffle and they are fantastic! Large and about 40 flavors She had wedding cake and I chose dark chocolate lemon filling We bought a pumpkin for my grandson, Dan chose it and Caden approved Very fun outing!

Got my annual pumpkin! Had a cider slushee and picked apples too. This is such a fun market/farm to browse. I could spend easily 45 minutes browsing the shelves inside. Definitely could find unique gifts for everyone - Beautiful chocolates, unique kitchenware and a multitude of sauces and hot sauces. They offer honey tasting as well! There's a case with cold drinks but you shouldn't miss the cider slushee. They can mix it with pomegranate juice too. Nice on a hot day. The apple orchard is a nice place to get in some steps. The kids play area is great for little ones. Lots of pretend areas for creative play. Goats are cute and personable. Or just interested in snacks! A great day spent with a friend and my pumpkin looks great in my flower cart! Don't pass up this place on your visit to wine country. Cheers.

Wonderful local honey, great place to bring my grandchildren and so fun to talk to the farmers who grow the fresh produce there.

We had the best time here! We found this farm on yelp. We called to make sure it was open on a holiday weekend and they would do honey tasting. The person on the phone was so nice, friendly, and professional. We decided to do the honey tasting and we learned so much about honey. They had a great selection and we couldn't resist but to bring some back home. We definitely loved our experience and would recommend this farm to groups of all ages. They are a u pick farm and had persimmons in season. Additionally, there is a petting zoo and a kids playground.

If you're traveling between Paso Robles and Cambria this is a cute stop for local honey, jams and fudge. It's a small shop and while masks are required, there didn't seem to be a limit on the number of customers in the shop-personally that made me uncomfortable so I waited a bit before entering and didn't spend as much as time browsing as I would have liked to. The staff has masks on and there are plastic barriers by the register so that was a plus. I ended up purchasing some locally made lavender honey (my favorite flavor.) The grounds have a cute children's play area that is $1 per person and some vintage farm equipment. On the day I was visiting I didn't see any farm animals out so didn't stay long. It's a nice scenic drive and something new to do in the area that I haven't done yet. Check their hours on their website since they do vary by seasons.

We came out here for the pre order cut Christmas tress. Even though the big ones were all spoken for we found a cute Charlie Brown Christmas tree! They were having a huge sale on fall items and not to mention seeing the bunnies, goats and birds! They even have so much inside the shop for sale! It's a must visit! We can't wait to go get our tree and do some more shopping!!

My 4 year old loved this place. Everything was so cute. A lovely way to spend the afternoon with your little kid. We had to drag him out of the corn bin! Definitely recommend.

Sone of their winter squash and other pumpkins!

Seemed like you could park in the other lot on the north with the human bean coffee shop, and walk across the cute connecting bridge that brings you to this lot in front of TJ. Anyway, it was nice and cozy inside, with counter to grab seafood or order some food. Inside had maybe 4 or so tables, while outside had many more. First went outside after ordering, but it was quite windy chilly so went back inside:) Had checked out the menu ahead of time, so ordering was easy. Tall young man was super friendly. Even brought out the food to the table when ready. - Fish n Chips = was so crispy and fresh, absolutely delicious and kid ate it up. plenty of fries too that we all could share - Fish tacos = got one grilled, one fried. Of course fried tastes better, but grilled was great as well. Covered in cabbage and special sauce. The sauce was excellent and addictive, easily defeated all the cabbage. And the fresh fish pieces in these were huge/thick, just awesome. The salsa that came on the side I guess is for the tortilla chips, since the taco had that special sauce on it, so no need salsa on it to detract from the special sauce. The tortilla chips seemed to be fresh cut and fried in house, was so crunchy good, especially when get a chip with a bit of salt on it. - Salmon salad = this was fantastic as well. Generous salmon pieces and the balsamic glaze was perfect with salmon and salad. I guess 2 of the salmon pieces were the skin, which was the best part! Such a delicous way to get your omega 3!!! With so many places to try, sadly only got to eat here once, but it was up there as a memorable meal, A+! And allows for you to walk off your fullness at TJ afterward, just perfect.

She's a great, zero pressure sales master that knows her products! Even I managed to lock my eyes onto a Medusa, a jar of bleu cheese stuffed olives! In vermouth no less! Can't stand the olives in markets with oil in them, so this froze me at the thought to putting in my dirty martini, so it got added to the bag, lol. Trying the bleu cheese olives at home in martini, I think they are good and delicious, but too salty. Maybe I need to dunk the olives in water to get some salt out of it to make it better. But if you're planning a visit, build in serious buffer time. We stopped in on Memorial Day and, with several parties ahead of us in line, didn't place our order until nearly 20 minutes after arriving. By the 45-minute mark, our food still hadn't come out for two paninis and a soup. What made it especially frustrating was watching parties who arrived after us get their cheese orders and drinks served before anyone had even started assembling our sandwiches. It was clear the shop was understaffed for the holiday weekend, with one person managing the counter and another in the back prepping. We ended up asking to take the sandwiches cold just to get out the door, only to have both stuffed into one small bag, sloppily wrapped. The soup, unfortunately, came out lukewarm regardless. None of this felt malicious. The shop has an unhurried, artisanal quality that's part of its appeal, but that can't fully account for the gap between the experience and a nearly hour-long wait for a simple lunch order while others moved ahead of us. Come for the cheese, come for the atmosphere. Just don't come hungry with anywhere to be.

It helped my stomach issues but screwed my health and my cholesterol up to a dangerously high level. So bad that i felt sick all the time I was on Keto for over 9 months. So i turned my diet around to be based on fresh veggies, fruits lean protein and whole grains with healthy fats and lower carb. This delivery program they have has helped make the change painless because of the exceptional quality and variety. Local grocers here where i live mostly sell crap! It looks good but tastes bad and expensive for the small quantities you get. And truthfully has been sitting in storage for quite some time. I came across Talley farms by accident i was looking for a better provider besides Imperfect foods. Their quality and prices are insane now and not worth what they are charging and a lot of their produce is imported from mexico and other countries a lot of the time which is a no no we live in the Ag hub of the country! So when i found Talley i loved that they only have local produce, Fresh picked, organic and in season! And i must say my god the difference in taste of farm fresh produce cannot be compared to store bought!! Even with something as simple as grapes right off the vine GASM!! Gorgeous fruits and veggies from this awesome group of farms!! They are the sweetest people!! They respond quickly to your emails and every delivery is correct! They send recipes and ideas for what your box will contain every week which i Love!! You can also replace things you don't want with other items or extra of something.
