First she wanted to brush me off to their online customer service, but I called her up on the promise of "America's Most Convenient Bank" - she finally got me seated at her table, took information and promised to own the issue of enabling wire transfers on the account. No response, no follow-up for over 1 week. I ended up contacting customer care only to learn nobody contacted them from the branch, so I had to start over. At the end I've learned that I still have to go back to the branch and get their assistance, so I am not looking forward to it after the service received from Nadia Haddad. I am now looking for another bank to take my business to. TD Bank - before putting the tag of Convenience on your doors: make it truly worth customers' time and effort to do business with you, what a shame!

This is a copy of the feedback that I submitted to them: For the past two days I have been trying, unsuccessfully, to reach someone--anyone--who can help me. I have sent emails, secure messages, used live chat, and spent countless minutes on the phone. The complete lack of customer support is unacceptable. The latest example perfectly illustrates how broken your support system is. I called, waited on hold, entered the callback queue, received the callback, was put on hold again and again entered the queue. The next callback was successful, I started to explained my issue, the call was dropped and was placed on hold again, put back into the callback queue. After 3 attempts and 45 minutees, I got through. Amanda was able to help me. Until we concluded our call and I logged back in only to find the issue was not resolved. Now I'm forced to start the entire process over again. Three days ago I sent an email asking for a simple clarification regarding my account. I have yet to receive even the courtesy of a response. At this moment I have been on hold for more than 20 minutes while simultaneously sitting in your callback queue because I have absolutely no confidence that either method will actually result in help. What makes this even more infuriating is that this isn't a minor inconvenience. Two days ago I needed to transfer money from my HELOC to an external bank account. Despite successfully linking the accounts through Plaid, your system simply will not perform the transfer, and there is apparently no way to get anyone at your company to resolve the problem. This level of customer service is beyond disappointing--it is a complete failure. Customers should not have to devote days of their lives chasing someone for assistance with a basic banking function. Every support channel you advertise has failed me. My patience has been exhausted. If this issue is not resolved immediately, I will have no choice but to reconsider doing business with an institution that appears incapable of providing even the most fundamental level of customer support. I had to chase her down for everything. I told her I wasn't happy and was thinking about going somewhere else. She smugly said, where do you want me to send your cancelled checks. She never returned phone calls. I asked to speak to a manager and spoke to Ashley. She defended Fabiana and was argumentative. I tried to escalate it to Shawn Schiffer, He never called me or checked in to make sure my loan went smoothly. I regret doing business here and do not recommend. I closed on May 4th and still don't have any info regarding my home equity line.

But I'm here to tell you that has never been my experience and I'm sure if people took the time to say some positive things, it would be 97%+ on that side of the spectrum. Sure, you'll see lines at times because there aren't a lot of branch locations around us. Banks can be busy, stop the presses! But every time I've received service here, from getting a business account going to a used car loan, the competent and helpful staff has been nothing short of amazing. They take their time with you, even if the meeting runs an hour plus. Thorough, great explanations about everything you need to know. And you can walk out with fresh debit cards which I find the most fascinating that they can be printed on site. There is very little that beats the 6% interest up to $1000 on the savings account too. It's an easy free $60 a year to keep your funds with them. Oh and they have one of the most amazing coffee/mocha/hot cocoa machines around, totally free.
