The garage entrance is not too hard to find. It's to the right of the Cheesecake Factory. There is not a whole lot of signage for pedestrian access to the elevators or even exit signs. For example, I was on either G1 or G2 level, there was not direction for pedestrian to walk to the elevator or escalator upstairs. When I tried to exit (I parked near the entrance), I could only see "park" this way but nowhere says "exit" this way. Also, when you pay, there is no automatic receipt. When I finally located the recipient button and clicked it, it was too late to request a receipt. read more

I don't know what's going on with construction in this garage, but there were no temporary signs posted to let those following the "Parking" arrows looking for spaces, myself included, that an asle was going to be a dead end, due to a construction fence blocking the way. I had to turn around a few times, which turned into 5 point turns due to the minimal spaces and other lost cars behind me. It gets a star because I did eventually find a space to park my car, but I wasted 20 minutes trying to do so. read more

Love this garage, it's been $3.99 for nights and weekends for a very long time. I've been parking here for 10 years without issue. I use this garage every time I attend a TD event. while it can be about a 15 minute walk from the Garden it can take up to 30 minutes to get out of those parking garages nearby because everyone is trying to leave at once. I'd rather walk and save 20$ and my sanity (priceless). As others have stated, check the website for price details and hours of operation, it is very detailed. The lower garage is open until 1AM (the latest garage) but they also charge 20$ if you stay past midnight, so it's a bit tricky in that sense. read more

This garage has a lot of potential but my experience has been just ok lately: Positive: - Lots of space. It gets busy but you can always find a spot. Things to improve: - Hard to get in: Lower garage entrance on the 1st Street is usually closed before 10am. It used to open early all of the last year but not anymore. You have to drive all the way around (couple traffic lights with a U-turn) to get in. Very inconvenient if you ask me. Also, escalators are undergoing renovation in the mall and there is only one elevator that can get you to the lower garage from the inside. Most of the time, you'll have to visit every mall floor on the way to your car. - Paying for parking: They have booths with people inside of them to collect payment. Needless to say it can take some time to get out. Most garages these days have automated machines where you can pay for parking before you leave. Why not modernize the process? Also, why not make it easier for people who park there daily? They can provide monthly memberships with cards that can let you out without waiting in line. This will speed up the line and make their life easier. - It's pretty dirty: The staircases are full of filth, spills, and strange odors. - Tall curbs: I've seen lots of people scratch their wheels and even cars on the tall curbs at their exits. Why such tall curbs? - To add insult to an injury, they've increased their prices as they started the renovation. Wow, thanks! Worse service for higher price :( The garage is undergoing renovation right now so I hope things will improve when they finish. But for now, I'll be looking for a better place to park. read more

I agree on the availability and pricing of parking here--it's great. HOWEVER. Make sure you park in the lower garage and not the upper garage if you intend to leave around the mall's closing time or it's the holiday season. The traffic pattern in the upper garage creates terrible jams when there are a large number of cars trying to exit at the same time. Yes, you might have to wait to get out of the lower garage in this situation, but it's not nearly as bad as the jam you'll experience in the upper garage. It's taken me nearly an hour to get out before. Save yourself! read more

This place can get PACKED. But it's usually only hard to find a place during either: holiday shopping season, snow emergency*, or like Amy said, right before the place closes. I only park on the lower levels. Even if it seems like more traffic is headed that way - it has always been easier to leave the garage from the lower levels than the uppers. Plus, for a long time, I thought there was only lower level parking cause I'd ride shotgun with my cousin and she didn't eff with the upper level parking AT ALL. I haven't really ever parked here to go anywhere but the mall, or the hotels. But, I may start to do so as there is ZERO affordable parking once you get closer to the MOS or Garden. The spots are decent sizes, my car has never been hit, or scratched or broken into. I am always able to find my car no problem too, not sure if that's cause I have a decent sense of direction (cause we know my short term memory is SHOT!) or if the layout of this garage makes way more sense than others... Or maybe it's cause one side of doors has a vending machine and the other doesn't...? Who cares. I'm not gonna lie, I park here when I'm going to a Celtics game. It's a little more than five minutes to walk to the Lechmere station, but it's so worth it because you're saving a bunch of money on parking! And I've never had a problem finding an open space. There's always plenty. I don't know what the rates are for parking during the week, but for nights and weekends, this is probably one of the cheapest places to park in Boston, guaranteed. read more

I parked in the Lower Garage last weekend as an alternative to the Museum of Science, which is only like a 3 minute walk. Unfortunately the MoS charges a ridiculous parking rate. The mall on the other hand has a much better rate. And even better at night and on weekends. I got to park here for $3.99 for up to 10 hours. Even though I came on a Sunday, there was no street parking available near by and it was well worth the $3.99 for not having to deal with the hassle of driving around for half hour trying to find a spot, especially since I don't know the area. And there was plenty of parking spaces available. Best part is that the Lower Garage is also opened later. Please see the website for hours of operation. While looking at the site, it has also come to my attention that if you dine at either California Pizza Kitchen or The Cheesecake Factory, you can validate your parking and only pay $1.99 for 3 hours or less! Sweet! Good to know for the future, if I ever decide to come back to the mall to actually do some shopping. read more

Was recently staying at the Hotel Marlowe, which is attached to this garage. Garage is hard to navigate since it is so large. All the spaces by the Land St. entrance near the hotel were taken, so we tried to find our way. We ended up walking through the mall -- was just easier. We parked overnight for a relatively reasonable rate, given its Boston. But that might be the hotel's rate too? Close to the Green Line and about 15 minute walk to the Red Line. read more

How do I keep getting super sweet spots in this lot? Every single time? Folks, this is a cheap, cheap lot. Less than four dollars can get you hours upon hours worth of parking. Why do you close your exit side of the garage? When you have employees that are parked past midnight. Had to call the parking garage help line after calling like two other numbers that went to voicemail, then wait 20 minutes to be let out manually by someone that walked through the entire garage..absolutely ridiculous. read more

The spaces are a little small for my liking and it can get very crowded during the high season of holidays. Not bad for a parking garage, I mean the garage across the street charges double. If it's after 6PM try and find a metered spot, If I cannot find one I park here. The late night garage is open until 1AM. I don't park in that upper level garage because it harder to park there. In order to get to the mall you have to take two different escalators up to the first level. read more

I met my friend in this lot last night, in which we both got there and left at the same time... We went to shop and got great deals in the mall, we even dine there. But I'm shocked and cannot believe I had to pay $20 for a 5 hour worth of a shopping and dinning day. Most of our Christmas gifts that we purchased were cheaper than the parking fee itself. I wish we would've paid close attention to the charges on the hourly rate board before parking. If we would've parked in the streets with meters we would've only paid $3.00 each.
