My daughter's car was towed here, I got a voice-mail saying if we pick it up after hours it will cost 45 dollars otherwise I could pick it up Monday for free, just come in and get the keys and go. It was said twice in my voice-mail it was free. Daughter went to pick it up and they charged her 215 dollars. Horrible business read more

Cambron's body shop has had my Jeep for over 7 weeks and Jamie ( Cambron's contact person ) will not return my call. My Jeep has been there for warranty work from Jerry ray Davis. It was taken in before Dec 2022 and after 19 days was ready for me to pick up. After Jamie did the final inspection this is what I received a paint job that looked as if a 6 year olds first time of painting. after looking at my Jeep before leaving I told Jamie this would be a complete repaint and I was not pleased. There was dry spray that looked as if if was never touched paint boogers that could be seen by the blind blue tape that was left in numerous places paint pits in many placing in drivers door. when I showed this to Jamie she acted as if she didn't understand why I was not pleased and tried to scrape one of the paint pits out and only added scratches to the paint. If I knew this is the quality work I was to receive I would have happily kept my factory flaws. I told cooperate Jeep if I knew it would be like this I would have never had Cambron's body shop touch it. i have contacted corporate Jeep and ask them to please not allow another Jeep customer go through Cambron body shop. My Jeep is at Cambron for the 2nd time now for 5 weeks and I can not get anyone to return my call after the dealership Jerry Ray Davis has told me it would be ready. Why anyone would go to this shop is beyond me. The only reason I HAD to go there was warranties. Anyone giving Cambron's body shop your business evidently does not car for you vehicles or quality. After four return trips Im still left with a car thats of less value due to theyre sorry work, each return trip there was something else broken, things they had been paid to replace were broken by their repairman Ive never seen such bad craftsmanship in my 64 years Im in shock for not only the quality of work but the arrogant careless attitude of management/owners A year+ long ordeal and still not repaired as agreed. I was finally told to take it elsewhere and see what they said and we'd go from there I complied to their demands and upon returning they refused to make it right,They are consistently good a one thing and one thing only making excuses for what they mess up and do wrong!! No one should trust their safety to these folks Seriously do not take your car to this shop, the list of wrongs cant all be listed here, bottom line PATHETIC best describes the entire experience! read more

I got my car repainted and was told I had a lifetime guarantee warranty on it. Not less than a month later my bumper had peeled paint all over it. It wasn't chipped and I new that I hadn't hit anything so I took my car back to them. They refused to fix it and said it was due to the bumper stretching as you ride down the road with it. Well after a heated argument from their side which they cursed at me and yelled things about my mother at me I left and decided it was a no win situation with not so smart people and I left. I'm thinking about suing since this place since they did not give what they advertised. They don't know how to paint cars and they completely lied about the life time warranty even after verifying their own incompetence with the bumper paint peelage. Avoid them at all cost. They will screw your car up and they do not honor their warranty, probably because they do not know how. read more

I investigated about 8 other Body Shops in Owensboro and found Cambron to be by far the most ethical & forthright. I had 2 cars to get work on. One of the cars was rear ended. Allstate gave us $800 to get it fixed. Several of the other body shops want to know how much the insurance company gave us and they will write the estimate to be no less than that or a little more, which is greedy and unethical. We weren't trying to make money, but the body shops should figure out there own costs & prices and shouldn't be inflating their estimates to take everything the insurance company might be paying. My story is really too long, but I swear by Cambron and I hate the other body shops in Owensboro. Champion would be my 2nd choice, but they are a financial rip off also. Cambron is the oldest body shop in town and they are very fair. We saved a bunch of money. read more

Save yourself the stress and financial burden. My husband took his truck in Jan 2015. ALMOST 3 YEARS. He just recently said enough is enough, he wanted his truck back. He has put his heart and soul in this truck for the last 20 years to get it right. It came back looking like they let a 5 year old loose in the bed with a caulk gun, bedsides are so wavy it will make you sea sick looking down one side, the other side buckled by the gas lid. You glided your hand over it expecting it to feel slick like glass, NOPE.. Feels like freaking sand paper from all the over spray. The reassembly? There is not one part of the cab that is aligned and gaps you can fit your fingers in. Top it off, if all of that isn't bad enough, they charged and additional 3k on top of the initial verbal agreement between him and Dexter. Said the parts he provided were not usable they had to reorder. Only part that came back was the initial bedside they buckled. Had to end up sending our nephew up there yesterday for missing parts and they lost the hood hinge took them 3 says to find it....DISHONEST and lousy workmanship!!!! read more

ABSOLUTELY the worst body shop and people period. I would never take a car here again. There are so many better places in Owensboro that actually are about the customer and will do what they can to accommodate you. If you want to get ripped off and have have way overpriced then take your vehicle there for sure. read more
